“Like most people, we got 4 quotes for AC installation. One contractor pressured us to replace the whole furnace. Another kept pointing out how out of code our system was (installed 15 years ago, part of an addition) and claimed it wouldn’t pass inspection.
Then EJ showed up and actually walked us through our options. He recommended a system that would let us rely less on our existing furnace- dual mode instead of the single-mode systems competitors offered, and it came in at a slightly more competitive price. They installed the same week and even handled some much-needed system maintenance while they were at it. He was punctual, communicative, and made the whole process easy.

There are bigger companies out there, but support local and get an owner-operator who actually cares. Would highly recommend EJ if you’re looking for someone who’s both conscientious and does quality work.“

“My compressor has been sounding like a plane taking off for several months, another company told me it was normal (without even taking any pieces off to review). Decided to get a 2nd opinion. Apex was able to get me scheduled in about 48 hours for a diagnostic appt. David Fernandez was prompt. Super polite and considerate of my home. He spent a good amount of time checking the system and discussing with office. Bummer for me it ended that I needed a new compressor but happy to not feel that I was being gaslit any longer. David was very thorough and provided me a good amount of information in a way that I could understand it. I have accepted the estimate (compressor is under warranty at least). Look forward to having the new system installed so that I am not being woken up by the AC kicking on at night any longer.“

“This was the second year Service Patriot provided annual maintenance on our HVAC system. The technician, Mikey, has gone above and beyond our expectations both times. Besides servicing the furnace, he also pointed out several issues with the ducting under the house that if addressed would significantly improve the efficiency.
