“We contacted Dan to remove a layer of lava rock from a rather large area behind our home and to clear some blackberries and brush that had accumulated in a couple of areas. He gave us his estimate and was out in less than a week to get the job done. He was thorough, efficient, had all of his own equipment, and had the area completely cleared of that rock and all the debris in quick order. It was a relatively big job in our eyes, but he got it done very quickly. He checked in a couple of times to confirm our preferences in a couple of areas and had transformed the area by the time he had finished. I will absolutely have Dan come out again for a couple of projects this fall. His pricing was very reasonable and the quality of work performed was exemplary. “HONEST. I have used JP Stone in the past. They do great work. Last week I had John Stone come out to discuss some new water feature maintenance concerns. When I told him what I thought I needed, he made it super clear that I probably did NOT need this work, and if I hired him to do it, I might well be spending money I didn't need to spend. In the nicest possible way, he INSISTED that I understand this. It wasn't that he didn't want the work--he's busy because his work is so good, and because the customer service is so great, but did share with me that he would definitely like more jobs (he runs a business, after all). Nor did he say this because it's summer, his busy season, since I told him I can easily wait until late fall. He said it because, simply put, he’s honest.

Way to go, John Stone! I wish every contractor I have hired over the years had your construction skills and your design smarts and, especially, your INTEGRITY.“
