I'm bald, but she always takes the time to keep my head shaved and tidy whenever I'm there. Also, the salon is comfortable, bright and inviting.

YG Spa is an excellent place for a massage. Extremely clean and organized, modern equipment with competent and professional staff. Sally was confident and athletic. I'm a big guy and she had no problem providing the massage I needed. My arthritis in my hip causes my muscles to become very tight and sore. Upon leaving, my mobility was greatly improved and pain reduced. I sleep through the night ☺️

George did an excellent job replacing the back splash in our kitchen! He answered my request for a quote very quickly, came and looked at the job within a few days. We could tell right away that George knew how to do tile work. Price was also reasonable. He was always on time and very tidy and respectful of our home. I got a haircut from Kelly Bird and it completely transformed my look and the way I treat my hair in the best way possible. She was extremely helpful with styling and product tips as well as just general hair care tips. I got my cut about a month ago and my grow out is still looking great. I cannot recommend this salon and specifically Kelly enough.

The process of going back to long hair from short sucks. Mine had been stuck in the awkward, Lord Farquaad stage of that process for longer than I anticipated, and it was really dragging me down. I figured I'd come in and get it reshapen enough so that I could live with it for the time being.
But, Marlene worked nothing less than straight up magic - I LOVE my new hair! Besides doing an incredible job, she was very approachable, fun to talk to, and made sure I was comfortable in every step of the process. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending to others!

I walked in and Diane was very gracious in welcoming me in same day. Right away I felt very comfortable as Diane talked to me. I was pretty specific in what I asked for, and am a little disappointed to see that what I got isn’t really at all what I asked for. Still, she clearly knows how to make hair look nice and I’d be lying if I said it didn’t.

My 13 year old has been to 3 different barbers and they all messed up his hair some sort of way. I reviewed some places and saw that V’s had amazing reviews. I decided to book and pick a random barber. We ended up with Emma. She was great. She did exactly what my son was looking for. It was so nice to walk out with the haircut that he was looking for. I watched other Barbers do hair there with their clients and they were so kind. I watched Ginger give this little boy a haircut and she did so great. She walked him through on the process of the haircut where he seemed to feel safe about each step. Overall this is a great place to go. We will be coming back. Thank you 💙

I had been searching for a good stylist for my 5 year old daughter's very curly, C3 hair. Busy B's was the right choice! Bernard was patient and gentle with her. It took a long time to get through her thick curls, but he kept her comfortable and did a great job on her haircut. I've taken her to other stylists in Bellingham that charged 2-3x as much for less quality work. Highly recommend!

It’s amazing, it’s natural, the smell is great, Piper, the owner is very professional, friendly, and offers excellent information, advice, and customer service when you order! I am writing to describe my experience on May 18th. The tall girl with long blonde hair did an exceptional job helping me. She not only reminded me that I get a free tan on my birthday month, she also recommended the best lotion to use that gave me the best bronze color after one use. I hadn’t used a tanning bed in months and she put me in bed #6 for 8 minutes. I didn’t burn and truly have some great color the next day! Def recommend telling your tanning consultant what you are looking for and trusting their recommendations! I’ll be back for sure!
If you have been thinking about tanning…now is the time to sign up for Seattle Tan - Lakeway. The staff is incredible! They are super friendly and very knowledgeable. The beds are top notch too! I haven’t been tanning in years and now I am hooked. It feels great to have some color on those gloomy PNW days plus great for vacation prep so you don’t burn. I rarely leave reviews but they are so deserving of the 5 stars. You will not be disappointed.
I have been getting Dry acrylic toes and I’ve been so happy with the service! I love especially that it’s a dry service!!! I would recommend to anyone to come for acrylic toes!!

I’ve been looking for a new nail salon. Based on online reviews, I found Deb at her salon, Honey Nails, to be highly recommended. Surprisingly, she had an opening today (New Year’s Day). She did incredible work, was very easy to talk with and brainstorm nail ideas with, and has the cutest dog to keep you company. When I got home, my husband exclaimed, “Whoa! Those nails are EPIC!” Safe to say I found my new nail place.

This was mine and my mom's first time in this nail salon. We absolutely LOVED it!! I appreciated how detail oriented they were when trimming and pushing back the cuticles.
I had gotten the pedicure that was $77 and it was so relaxing and just so amazing in every way possible, not to mention it smelt wonderful! I could have fallen asleep in their ridiculously comfy chairs as well.

From the very start, she went above and beyond — a week before my appointment, she asked for photos of my current skincare routine and helped me identify products that were likely doing more harm than good. Danielle is the most talented esthetician I have ever been a client of. She is patient, kind and experienced. Her prices are very reasonable and she has a no tip policy. She and her mother (who does hair) have an adorable business in Fairhaven. The setting is tranquil and puts you at ease the minute you enter. Bonus if you're a dog lover! Their dogs are well behaved, adorable canines on site.

I recently took a dermaplaning course with Ms.LaKrista and I got certified the same day. I got a beautiful kit with way more items than I expected and was given a in depth lesson about the service. Ms.LaKrista very kindly dedicated her day to helping my classmate and I, nothing felt rushed. I left feeling very prepared and confident in preforming dermaplaning. I HIGHLY recommend taking a class from Ms.LaKrista. She really loves what she does and it shows in the way she teaches. I am already wanting to take another class!

I’ve actually been coming here for years, for both piercings and tattoos. The staff has t very much but they are all rock stars, SO friendly and helpful. I recently had to cane back in for a small nose pierce adjustment and it was so quick and easy, I wasn’t even sure the jewelry would come back but they got it done in minutes. Would always recommend, they are great about walk ins!

Red Sparrow Tattoo Collective is my new favorite shop! While my work was done by Madelyn, I saw fantastic work coming from the other artists while I was there getting my piece.
I've been waiting a while to get in with Madelyn, and it was definitely worth the wait! In my opinion, her artistry and skill are unmatched in our area. I gave her an idea of the elements that I wanted in my tattoo, and she created exactly what I had hoped for. She has an incredible gift for flow in a piece, and her skill for shading and black and grey work is just gorgeous. Madelyn is a master of contrast, which adds to the beauty of any design, and allows the work to breathe, and be legible even from a distance. Madelyn was also incredibly supportive of the fact that I have old injuries that made me need to switch positions occasionally - she was flexible and worked on me in whatever position I needed to be in. She also has a light touch, so sitting for a 6 hour piece was no problem at all. I can't imagine getting a tattoo from anyone else now!
The shop is clean, easy to find, and with plenty of space for the different artists' spots, along with great artwork to enjoy on the walls. This group of artists clearly have a lot of talent, and their shop is very welcoming.
Great tattoo shop very friendly artists willing to work with all styles. I have gotten all of my tattoos done here, and have loved all of my work done by Alana and Dagmar the owners. The other artists that work there all have great portfolios, just haven’t had the pleasure of getting work done from them yet.

Travis and James replaced a complicated waste plumbing connection that involved cracked old clay tiles, PVC, and galvanized pipe and in the process discovered an incorrectly connected shower drain which they also replaced. They were punctual, professional and a pleasure to work with.

I'll save you the gross images of a clean out pipe explosion that Gary's team, Will & Isreal, came as a emergency call on a Friday late afternoon to diagnose and start working. Then returned first thing Saturday morning to hydrojet the line multiple times. I was thankful for the explanations both men offered so I understood the problems and next steps throughout the process. They went above and beyond to clean the line and the yard, leaving my yard in much better shape. This stuff never happens at a good time, and I appreciated the communication from the whole team and their efficiency to move the clean out and up along.
Stephen and Connor were professional, courteous and very knowledgeable about their work. They were able to solve the leak, and replace and repair my entire plumbing wishlist. They were also super tidy, always a plus!
Communication and scheduling with Katherine in the office was very well done, so they were able to arrive prepared for the various issues.

They systematically replaced the old wiring in our house and completed the job in about three hours, ensuring everything was up to code. Their meticulous approach was evident, as they took the time to explain each step and verified all connections were secured before leaving.
I called Elite Electrical yesterday because I was trying to solve a problem with a problematic older install lighting issue where lights had historically cut out or blinked. I was having trouble sussing it out and got frustrated and called Elite. The employee at Elite on the phone quoted me the cost to have someone come out, which was more reasonable than another place I've used in the past, but had to check the schedule. While talking she asked a few questions which actually inspired me to keep troubleshooting myself. After having swapped a dimmer pack, I finally figured out the original back can was intermittent. I was able to get a replacement can installed that afternoon and now all my buggy light issues are gone. While Elite did not come out and do physical work for me this time, the quality of the phone care saved me an electrician visit, and their quote for the hour was better than another place I called so I will likely try them next time.

Accurate Lock and Security is a terrific provider of locksmithing services. They have been able to duplicate many 1990’s vehicle keys for me with high quality original American blanks. They are fair, honest, and upfront with their work: they have serviced my 20+ year old vehicles with worn tumblers while keeping me informed about different possible outcomes.
They have also helped me with a locking mailbox at work, giving me different options for security locks and hardware, while working around the original hardware/setup.

Excelent experience with Carpet Car Cleaners. Gavin was on time, very friendly and did a great job cleaning our carpets in a fraction of the time it's taken me to do them each year with a Rug Doctor. It felt like the clean was deeper and more effective as well. Sounds silly but I'm excited to get my carpets cleaned again next year.
I've recently had Grant, Bellingham Carpet to my house 3 x now over the last few years. I've put it off for a few years lately, but I was getting ready for a house guest staying for a month, and this was an excellent reason to have fresh-clean carpets. Today, I would like to address a whole new crew of ServPro rebuilders who have worked with us the last number of months. under their manager, Kevin Neilson. He has been magnificent. He responded quickly to any inquiries we had and let us know if there were going to be hold ups. He has visited our home in person to connect with us and see what his teams are doing. He and his crews have taken care of a myriad of different aspects of the rebuild: plumbing, ordering and installing a new vanity, laying engineered wood floating floors, painting, returning boxes from storage, re-assembling beds, fixing wiring. To a person, these young people have worked tirelessly, sometimes staying til 8 pm. They are skilled, friendly, kind and punctual. We are always notified in advance about their time of arrival and the nature of their work. Yesterday, we were sent our final billing, which came out very close to what they had estimated all those months ago. They were more than fair. We can't say enough about how satisfied we have been with ServPro over these months. We recommend them with no reservations.

Mobile floor coverings does very good job on carpet with reasonable price. When we need carpet done, we always go to Mobile floor coverings. They are friendly and very easy to work with. We get good quality carpet and work from them.
We needed a very large area rug for our living room, larger than the standard sizes available in stores. Stopped at Carpet Liquidators and found a remnant we liked, which turned out to be the perfect size for our large rug plus two smaller rugs for other rooms in the house. Dawson worked with us to have our rugs cut and bound at a price far lower than other stores we checked. Extremely happy with the results and with Dawson’s friendly and knowledgeable service.
We recently completed a full home remodel with Chuckanut Builders, and we could not be happier with the results. From start to finish, their communication, craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding. There were a couple of work orders the apartment manager wanted professional help with. John was great! On time, thorough, experienced and easygoing. While he deferred attic evaluation and repairs to the apartment maintenance crew, he was able to get the bath fan working at the wall switch. It was the first time I’ve seen the switch working. If it continues to operate, he believed it may help the continuous airflow failure (by the TP square test) at the vent updraft. We are very grateful he tried to repair connections on the wall electrical box. On a separate issue, John showed us why it would be too costly a repair. As it happens, and remarkably, when John arrived the problem had resolved to a usable state. He explained that weather changes, continued foundation settling and fixed building materials in the construction could continue to make changes to this problem. John demonstrated capability and foresight. He would be fantastic on a walk through for folks looking to buy a new home. I would hire him!

10/10 Recommend. I was skeptical of how fast The Hydro seed was claimed to grow in, but holy cow was I surprised! Within a matter of weeks, we had a brand new yard with luscious, thick and amazing grass. Josh‘s work was fast and efficient and thoroughly explained the entire process and how to make sure we got the best results possible. I’m writing this review a year AFTER We had the work done can Honestly, say that the yard is holding up fantastically well and I am already having to mow it twice a week. It looks better and healthier than ever. The photos attached are the before, three weeks in, and eight weeks in pics from last summer’s hydroseed spray. If you’ve ever thought about hydroseeding, I can’t recommend the process enough. And if you need someone to do it, Josh and custom dirt and Hydro seed is the place to do it.
Chuckanut Crest Association is a large home owners association on the side of Chuckanut mountain overlooking Bellingham Bay. We have contracted with Preservative Services for several years for snowplowing and year round roadside maintenance that includes tree trimming, leaf and brush clearing, ditch clearing and culvert maintenance. I had 3 large hemlocks close to my house removed and one stump removed. John and his crew did a great job of felling the trees, split into rounds, chipped all the limbs, final cleanup. This was a big job and they were able to do it in 2 days. I will call John for my future tree needs.

Had a wonderful experience today with Dr Jill Tetrick, her assistant, and front office staff. Last night while flossing a crown popped off. My dentist is out of town, and I spent a little time this morning calling around looking for someone that could bond it back on. At the recommendation of another booked dental office, I tried the Tetrick practice. They were booked as well, and already had allocated their emergency slot for the day, but took my number just in case. As luck would have it, I got a call back in about 45min, asking if I could show up in 30min; Heck Yeah!
They have an exceptionally clean and well sorted practice. The staff was professional and exceedingly personable. Within ~45min I was out and having lunch. Highly recommended!

Dana was very professional, caring, and a good listener. I went in for her to work on my shoulder and she also did a little work on my hip. I went to Dana because our daughter had gone there and been greatly helped. My physical therapist said to get better I probably would need deep tissue massage and Dana is providing that.
Dr Noble fixed my balance issues! In the past, I couldn’t walk down stairs without holding onto a hand rail. With the work he did with me in his ‘Movement Lab’ I walk down the center of the staircase with no worries, only confidence. Thank you Dr Noble for facilitating this change in how my body works. Freedom of movement is priceless. (BTW, I drove from Seattle for these treatments)

I am 75 years old, and moved to Bellingham from Arizona 4 years ago. I had wanted to hike and have fun outdoors. About a year ago, I started to curtail my activities because I was feeling unsteady when I walked, especially up and down hill, and it felt like it was getting worse. I also was having knee pain (an old pain) and new pain in my hips and low back so not only was I in pain but I was getting depressed.
Dr. Tran was recommended to me by members of my family and I started seeing him several months ago. The treatment he has provided has been amazing Within a few treatments the low back and hip pain went away. Over the course of treatment I have also become steadier when walking. and my chronic knee pain became less.
I now feel so much steadier that I don't fear falling and I can walk for longer periods of time. I also have more energy and stamina, so that I am looking forward to getting out again. Dr. Tran also recommended some supplements that definitely helped with my energy.
Dr. Tran is caring and listens to me. I feel like he tailored his treatment to what I wanted to achieve and I can now say, thanks to .Dr. Tran, that I am enjoying my retirement again and I feel like I have many good years in front of me.

At 41 I have had consistent daily lumbar spinal pain for the last 10 years. My most recent MRI showed 7 bulged disks with degenerative disk disease. My cat is petrified of vets. It takes every ounce of emotional strength for both of us to go to a veterinary facility. But everytime I have taken Tux to Dr.Day, I have been able to go in with him, calm him down and stay with him until he is sedated and calm. I feel totally comfortable leaving Tux in his care and I love how they care for him. Now, Dr Day's ultrasound imaging is thorough and precise. He covers everything in detail and its easy to understand. He can definitely do a proper job with accuracy and professionalism. We were grateful that the Village Veterinary Hospital was able to examine our cat on short notice. Dr. Foote and Annie Muller were thoughtful, knowledgeable, communicative, and caring. We’re visiting the area, and they went out of their way to get our cat’s health history/records from our veterinarian back home and used them to help with diagnosing her problem.
Amazing with our pet! From the moment we walked in, receptionist was friendly. Vet who asissted us was also very firefly and informative. Great place!
We’ve been taking our cats to Village Vet for the past few years, along with a few other kitties we’ve found on the street, and every single visit has been a great experience! We’ve come for yearly checkups, vaccinations, blood tests, illnesses, last minute (mild) emergencies, a spay, and more. They also provided us with a recommendation for a foot surgeon when our kitten needed a toe amputated. They are so versatile, while also making the process super easy.
Some of our cats are nervous at first, but the way the techs/VAs make them comfortable, play with them, and give them treats makes appointments go so smoothly. I brought our cat Marvin in a few days ago, and he genuinely had such a fun time, he probably can’t wait to come back!
I find their prices affordable, and we’ve even gotten discounts when bringing in multiple cats for their yearly visits. We also have pet insurance, and Village Vet always provides paperwork and bills in the exact way I need them. I have never felt pressured to pay or purchase anything, and they are very transparent when things aren’t necessary.
Shout out to Lee who has helped us out multiple times, and Annie who has been our VA quite a few times as well. They are both lovely people, hard workers, and individuals who obviously enjoy what they do. We’ve met many of the vets here and all of them have been very helpful and great at explaining everything.
I also love the way they treat pets in general. Pets are given your last name and are treated like family members. One time I arrived half way through an appointment (my partner was with the cats, and I came from work) and they said “your family is waiting in room two.” Obviously the big things are important, but the little things like that are what makes this place so great!
We’ve recommended this vet to many of our friends, and we will continue coming back!

Maplewood has been our vet for the last 7 years and we have always been very happy with their level of care and service for our dog. Six years ago we moved an hour away but still made the drive to Maplewood -- until recently when we had to find a local vet for monthly allergy shots. Our dog is currently experiencing leg paralysis and the local vet is scheduling 2 weeks out. We called Maplewood and got an appointment next day. Dr. Dunbar was compassionate, knowledgeable, took her time, and did a thorough examination, including x-rays, and suggested it was a neurological issue, which all made sense. Enter Misti, the most amazing person you'll ever come across at a vet's office. She helped us find a specialist, coordinated with records transfer and referral, all at lighting speed and with the most compassionate heart. She is superwoman rockstar and I'm so grateful for her, Dr. Dunbar, and all the staff at Maplewood.
I have a severely reactive dog and I wasn't sure how visits to the vet could ever go well for him. I told the staff at Fairhaven Vet his issues and they put together a game plan. I was very pleased and impressed how smooth the visit went. I took my boy back to get neutered and they handled it so well. The staff is very kind and understanding toward difficult dogs. Life with a reactive dog isn't easy, but Fairhaven Vet took excellent care of him and put me at ease. There's no question I will be going to Fairhaven Vet for all my pet needs.
Took my puppy today for her first vaccines and the staff is wonderful, Dr. Perry was incredibly kind and informative. Very reasonable puppy package for the vaccines!
Beyond impressed with the staff here at Bellingham Veterinary. They were able to fit my girl in same day as out of towners when she hurt her leg & had a severe limp. They were very informative during the whole visit & even let me stay in the office while my pup was sedated for xrays. They were understanding when I asked for my vet records to bring to my vet back home & emailed them to me while I was there!
Extremely compassionate and knowledgeable staff here. I have never had a better experience at a vet and appreciate them immensely. Best care and attention to detail my cat has ever received from a vets office (and I’ve been to a lot of different ones!)

Absolutely would go back again. Our pup jumped out our bedroom window and we are not from here. They took her in that day immediately and gave X-rays finding out she broke her leg and they put a rush on surgery and even made sure the next day that all was stable but it wasn't so they had to go back into surgery free of charge and fix it also they kept her for 4 nights to monitor her and make sure she was well before we brought her home. I would definitely recommend anyone to this vet and would come back again if needed.

Hannah did an amazing job with my English Springer Spaniel! My pup had a thick coat when I brought her in, but Hannah got her in quickly and stayed in touch with me throughout the grooming process to make sure the cut was what I wanted. When I picked her up, she was clean and perfectly groomed. I definitely recommend Hannah’s services :-)

Before 2020 I was active in fitness but I had only dabbled in mace and heavy clubs. During the shutdown I decided to dive deeper with lever tools. I found a few club and mace coaches and programs online before I discovered Coach Summer Huntington on Youtube. It was quickly obvious that she had very few peers when it came to the use of these unique modalities. But what really set her apart was her unique vision of merging ancient lever tools with two other disciplines. She merged arguably the oldest tools known to humans with the ancient art of yoga and the modern science of kinesiology. When I later discovered that she had a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology I wasn’t at all surprised. Summer knows her stuff! Two years later, Summer announced she was hosting a weekend retreat on Clubs, Mace and Staff at Flow Shala with another coach whose material I had immersed myself in throughout the pandemic, Mark Wildman. I signed up on the spot! The weekend was an incredible experience! The two coaches complimented each other so well! Both were beyond excellent in every way possible: pedagogy, explanation, diagnosing issues and coaching corrections, the list goes on and on. I learned so much that weekend, but Summer’s Steel Mace Vinyasa sessions challenged me like I’d never been challenged before. I leveled up in all three modalities without question, and I came home with a passion to continue growing in clubs and staff that is still with me to this day. But I had an even greater drive to pursue steel mace vinyasa. I quickly signed up for a five day retreat with Coaches Summer and Mark in Thailand. I wanted to make the most out of the opportunity and had six months to prepare for the event. I started working online with an incredible Flow Shala coach on a weekly basis. By the time I found myself swinging a mace in Warrior 2 pose surrounded by the Buddhist temples that lined the mountains around our workout platform in Thailand, I had leveled up again. But Summer challenged me in a way I’d never been challenged before. She encouraged as she pushed me to an even higher level. A perfect example, in the midst of one session she invited the group into a headstand. I followed her instructions and found myself upside down! After the session she rushed over to me with a huge smile and was genuinely excited to find out if that was my first headstand. In that moment I realized how genuinely invested this coach was in the development of her students. After Thailand, I joined Flow Shala and continued working with Summer and the other coaches online. It was such a gift to get coaching on Steel Mace Vinyasa at home! I also recently attended a 16 hour SMV online course. When I signed up for the course I thought we’d hone on form and maybe learn some new moves. That happened, but unbeknownst to me, the weekend was really an opportunity to peer behind the curtain and glimpse not only the depth of Summer’s pedagogy but it gave me a clear vision of the genius and breadth of a master and true artist in her chosen field. When Coach Summer recently announced she was going to coach one on one sessions, I signed up right away! Summer is not only a coach of coaches, she is a fitness pioneer gifting us with a glimpse of what the next level of health and wellness looks like with Steel Mace Vinyasa. She not only diagnosed several unhealthy movement patterns I’ve developed over a lifetime, she has prescribed a holistic weekly wellness plan designed to teach me proper movement and heal my body. I went to vital yoga for three months during my travel healthcare contract. I enjoyed each class I went to. Each instructor has a different personality however all rooted in the practice of yoga. All of them approach the class with openness and kindness towards the participants. This membership is worth your time! As a "beginner" yogi, I found the classes extremely welcoming and doable.
There is an atmosphere of inclusion and relaxation that i feel every time I come. Great variety of classes and teachers.

I feel like whenever I come here they just know how to bring up the vibe and make for a great class. Not only that but the instructors are amazing and the pricing is affordable as well, which is not always the case with Pilates classes. I love it here!
Hands down best massage I've ever had in my entire life from Natasha ....called in on a whim just trying to find a same day appointment they were able to squeeze me in.The dude who took my call was the most friendly, good energy customer service I could have asked for. Half the places I called before the receptionist's just sounded like they hated their job lol but not the dude who worked here lol super good energy. I mean jeez they really take it serious. So i was recommended to try the Body Mechanic in bellingham by my chiropractor. 100% amazing . You can tell the difference between people who take pride in thier work. Very professional, knowledgeable, and one of my best massage experiences. I will be setting up a regular schedule with this place. BTW got the deep tissue massage.
I am able to do activities such as climbing up and down a ladder and working overhead for a 2 hour project. Could not do that before!!!!

This body work really changed the way I move. I was amazed by my physical capability after I completed the sessions. John is an educated and intuitive worker and really takes the time to do the work you need in every session. There is no feeling of rushing and I always feel comfortable and safe in his studio. Before I did the 10 part series I was strong but was having issues on achieving specific fitness goals, I.e. doing a pull-up. After completing the series I was all the sudden able to do a couple pull-ups and found that the work really made my muscles fire in the right order. I highly recommend his work to anyone and everyone and will go back whenever I feel I need a little adjustment.

Amazing results and solutions. I've never been healthier. I arrived for acupuncture feeling nervous and desperate for relief. I'd been struggling for years with pseudoseizures and symptoms that appeared to others as a stroke or heart attach ( uncommon for someone my age). It only took one session and already I was feeling better. My posture has improved, energy levels have increased, and pain has almost gone away entirely.
