You may have read my earlier review for Highline's whole-house renovation completed in 2022. This is an update: In spring, 2024, the new shower began to leak a little into the basement, and the shower sill tile and grout started cracking. I contacted Highline, and they assured me that they would repair the damage and remedy the leaking. And that is exactly what they did, under the oversight of Jack Buckalew. It took several months, but they carefully diagnosed where the shower pan was leaking, causing the wood in the sill to expand and crack the tile. They removed all of the affected tile and wood (this was terrifying to see them do - our beautiful shower was beng deconstructed!). Then the entire pan was rebuilt and sealed, the sill replaced with construction foam, new tile installed with epoxy grout (thanks to Jordan Snell of Opulence Tile), and the shower doors replaced. Honestly, it is impossible to tell the original tile from the new tile. It looks brand new again. And it doesn't leak anymore. Considering that this house is about 100 years old, we are realistic about its quirks and problems. But we are very confident in the upgrades that Highline did, knowing that they stand behind their work.

Reviews
Highline did an amazing job for us on a very extensive renovation of our home. They immediately “got” what we were looking for and not only made great recommendations on finishes and fixtures, but did superb work pulling it all together. No question we’d use Highline again in a heartbeat, highly recommend!
When we decided to move from Indiana to La Conner, Washington, buying a house there was the simple part. Renovating that house to update finishes and fixtures, overhaul the HVAC systems, bring electrical and plumbing systems up to date, install new appliances and make a 40-year-old home suitable for aging in place while living 2,500 miles away was the big challenge.

Highline completed an office model at my workplace. They were great to work with and did a good job keeping the project on track and working with me as unexpected needs arose to troubleshoot and stay on budget. The remodel also uncovered some things (like a hidden fireplace) and they were graciously willing to pivot some design plans to incorporate these legacy features into our new space. The team is so happy with the outcome - thank you Highline!
