“Terry is the best! Go here if you want someone with experience to give you the best quality at exceptional value. I asked for highlights with toner, some root, and a cut. She did exactly what I wanted but also gave me tons of helpful advice on how to best care for and protect my hair long term. I have thick hair and it usually takes 3-6 hours (a long time in a chair!) she had me done in 2.5 hours with a fabulous blowout/style to boot. Her salon is charming and her prices can’t be beat. “The salon was clean and well lit. The staff was very welcoming and Kaitlyn did a great job on my pedi. The only thing that bothered me was at the end. I was asked if I wanted to leave a gratuity before I was even told the cost of my service, then loudly asked how much. This could have been handled much more discreetly. I believe in tipping for service, but I also believe in privacy in these matters. Also, I was asked to fill out a questionnaire where the only question was "Did Kaitlyn provide 5 star service?" Fortunately, she did, but if she hadn't, I wouldn't have felt comfortable in answering honestly with Kaitlyn and the receptionist standing there, watching me fill it out.Service: Pedicure”
“We visited here for our anniversary in August. We stayed in a beautiful King Suite, overlooking the water. The staff was friendly and helpful with providing us with a little later check out. The only little thing, was the train right outside our room that began running very early in the morning. Regardless, we’ll visit again and then also try the spa services.”
“I have happily been staying here since they opened, and this past night was my latest adventure there. The Chrysalis is truly my favorite "escape" when visiting my family. This is the epitome of the perfect "boutique hotel": the customer service is incredible; the spa is AMAZING; their restaurant, Keenan's, is perpetually yummy, and their rooms are downright gorgeous. NOW, ADD IN THE VIEWS! WOW!!!! Oh, and you are just a hop-skip from Fairhaven, which is a delightful section of Bellingham. The Chrysalis is right there! There are galleries, groovy restaurants, Tony's Coffee (a tradition not to be missed), walkways over the Sound that you will love, and other assorted stores I have probably spent more money at than I will ever admit to my adoring husband ; ) Seriously, you will thank me!”
