We took our dog in yesterday, for an ultrasound with fine needle aspiration. I was so impressed. We got results same day from the ultrasound pictures, he was going to look at the slides from the FNA that night and right a report to go out the next day. He was able to sedate my very anxious dog. He had a great table-side manner. It's a bummer he's semi- retired but you can tell he really loves his job and is great with animals. Very calming nature.
Dr Day is an impressively thorough, knowledgeable, and experienced doctor with loads of compassion. His compassion feeds a drive to provide an accurate diagnosis that is second to none. The doctor's highly capable assistant, Jackie, was equally as kind and professional. It was a pleasure to meet them.
My cat is petrified of vets. It takes every ounce of emotional strength for both of us to go to a veterinary facility. But everytime I have taken Tux to Dr.Day, I have been able to go in with him, calm him down and stay with him until he is sedated and calm.
