“In preparation for shoulder surgery, Jaime has given me exercises to strengthen muscles that are still working, while protecting the injured shoulder from further damage and pain. He is also helping me build back muscle mass that I lost during a recent health problem. Jaime's knowledge of anatomy and his tremendous compassion make him a terrific trainer/therapist. I am so happy he was recommended by my doctor.“

“Dr Curme is everything you would hope from any medical professional: knowledgeable, compassionate, fun, and great to work with. He helped with my temporary issue and worked with me to develop a long-term plan for long-term issues. The exercises proscribed were tailored not only to my issues and my body but also to my life and the practicalities of it. He never made me feel guilty for missing exercises and always encouraged me to make PT work for me. In addition to the physical improvement, interacting with an understanding and empathetic medical professional who genuinely cared about me and figuring out what was wrong and how it could be helped was incredibly valuable. I was initially a little nervous because I am often less comfortable with male practitioners, but that feeling didn't last long as Dr. Curme is very dedicated to the comfort of his patience and checking in about touch and boundaries. The reason I am in PT sucks, but my experiences with Dr. Curme have been nothing but positive, and have improved both my physical and emotional state! I can't recommend him more!“

“I joined over a year ago. Since this time my posture had significantly improved and my core has strengthened significantly. Maria and Geoffrey’s approach to Pilates is dynamic and keep you interested. Other instructors including Debbie are just as knowledgeable as they are. Rescheduling is easy and accessible via smart phone. I’m glad I joined and now use Pilates as a baseline exercise regimen to keep me limber and strong.“

“My experiences at Bellingham Fitness are wildly discrepant from those shared by some people. I “just do it” 3x per week for the past six years at the gym to maintain a level of fitness required to pass the fairly rigorous bi-annual FAA flight physical for airline transport pilots. I have found Scott to de a gentleman and scholar. He works diligently to keep the gym well maintained, spotless and stocked with modern sanitary equipment.His spirited and engaging demeanor is an asset for many members who struggle to maintaining the motivation required for a long-term commitment to their physical health.Bellingham Fitness staff - and Scott in particular - are supportive and accepting of the variety of individuals who comprise their membership base; from the kids to the “oldsters” to those with physical challenges. I know; I’ve been bringing my physically disabled sister to work out for over a year. She receives the same respect, encouragement and humor accorded to all the members.Scott, Dave and the rest of the staff are nice people. I suppose in a world ripe with cynicism, dishonesty and narcissism it’s understandable to mistake sincerity and compassion for something nefariousness. This would be a mistake. Bellingham Fitness is a wonderful family gym and a real asset for our community.“

“I used Yelp to look for a personal trainer since I don't belong to a gym and don't want to. Patti is the sole proprietor owner and trainer. She has her own space she uses to train her clients. It's amazing what she comes up with as routines and variety. I was not motivated to begin a workout on my own, so I knew I needed help. Finding Patti was a dream come true. She is very present to every different exercise. She changes things up so you get a good rounded workout based on your abilities and your goals. She is very patient and encouraging and she has a kind caring personality. If you want someone who will grind you into the dirt, she might not be the one for you. But if you want someone who really cares and someone who is careful you don't get injured but encourages you to do more than you would on your own, you should give her a try. I've been seeing her for a few weeks now and I am seeing the differences and feeling stronger and better about myself. I hope this was helpful.“
