Guys did an amazing job. Found a lot of problems post construction and remodeling. Never thought workers would use air ducts as trash recepticals but oh well. And the dust. Pictures tell it all. I will post some later. No mess no fus while they were there either. I will plan on yearly or at least biannually from now on. Price was very fair and rhe value/cost ratio immeasurable.

My second time visiting this salon and I’m impressed even more after today’s visit. Brittany took the time to consult and ask questions to be able to deliver the haircut I wanted. Followed by an amazing shampoo (by the awesome assistant, Kelly (I think)) that included an essential oil scented eye mask and spa music in the background. It was exactly what I needed after a crazy day at work. Brittany took her time with me and it never felt rushed. My hair looks and feels amazing plus I enjoyed our conversation.
I had the hairstylist Aiva cut/style/color my hair. I had long damaged blonde hair and she was able to fix it and make my hair healthier again. The color is beautiful. Aiva is very personable and tends to all your hair goals/needs !
I really and truly can’t say enough good things about this salon, as an NJ and former NY’er transplant finding a salon that even scratches the surface of what I’m used to has been grim and left me with horrible cuts - UNTIL TROPEZ!!!! As a proud brunette, Ally has knocked my color and cut out of the park and beyond (going to miss her!!!) and this last time the owner Kellie did my wash and dry and was an absolute doll. The service, from drink offerings, to scalp massage to dry & curl is top notch and you truly get what you pay for top to bottom! I love this place and can’t wait to come back :)

I have been to Beale Street Barber Shop twice now. I am from out of town and went with a family member who goes here regularly. Both times it was for a straight razor shave and the experience was amazing each time. The owner of the shop puts great pride in his work and takes the time to do the shave right. Atmosphere of the shop is great as well as the conversations. Highly recommend!
Hanc is THE guy to get a haircut from if you are in New Hannover County. The shop vibes are immaculate and i have never been more comfortable in a barbers chair in my life. I work in Real Estate and send any and all clients who ask over to Hanc and has yet to disappoint! He books up fast so if you are in need of a 5 star haircut and experience boom with Hanc ASAP!!

Bo's Barbershop was excellent! My hairdresser was polite, attentive to detail and did a great job on my hair!! I was very happy with the result. The decor of the saloon is great too and well thought out. The rest of the staff were super fun to talk to as well which made the entire experience even more rewarding. I love coming here! Dave and the girls are always so nice when I come in! I come in every week atleast once maybe twice depending on my schedule and they always are able to fit me in. Reducing my anxiety, pain, and muscular pain after a long work week! Afterwards I had eucalyptus at the oxygen bar where I could journal draw and sip tea/water. I had the best rest in a while!

Iris is the best! I usually only go there for facials which are great, but I did an hour long Swedish massage today and it might be the best in town! Don't let her petite demeanor fool you, she is strong and knows what she is doing. I will only go to Iris for massages and facials from now on.
This was by far one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Mary Beth was absolutely phenomenal. I am still completely relaxed hours later. She used just the right amount of pressure. I had the 60 minute hot stone massage as well as the 60 minute lavender & rose facial massage. Best 2 hours I’ve spent in a while. I highly recommend Willow Retreat Spa.

I was so nervous on my very first visit but Lauren quickly put me at ease and really listened to what I wanted my brows to look like. She addressed every concern I had and gave me the brows I wanted. I just went back for my touch up and couldn’t be happier. For someone who was really nervous the first time, I was now confident in her judgement and expertise. I’m so glad to have found her. Very responsive to schedule a visit. Very engaging during the visit. Very accommodating to my health challenge. They looked at two sinks that were not working properly. Charged $171 to put a washer on a sink and troubleshoot. We didn’t decide on price prior to this. Very disappointed to have to pay that price for. 20 minute review. Came out originally for a hot water heater. Was just going to select them but after the washer price wil go and do due diligence with others. Overall a good experience but be careful of impromptu pricing. We’ll see how they compare with others on the hot water heater.

Removing our old tank was horrible, as it was leaking and rusted, clogged and messy. He removed it and protected our carpets as it was removed. He was amazing. My professional arrived early for my electrical work to be done. I explained what I needed and what was needed to pass my permit final inspection. Dylan Capps did each task in a timely manner and explained the process of how each task needed to be used. He also showed me on the breaker panel where he had clearly marked the breaker and explained how to use my outdoor receptacles and opening the box for use. Top notch service from John the owner! I had to process a warranty claim on my new LG dishwasher. Let's just say LG took forever and did not want to issue a warranty service call. From the moment Cape Fear Appliance got a hold of my claim they contacted me multiple times keeping me informed when John would be on site. John immediately identified the issue, contacted LG to see if there was a fix and resolved my problem within a matter of minutes. Next time I will not be going through the major box stores for appliances but solely through Cape Fear Appliance.

Mine is an unbiased review of this FABULOUS cleaning service! Team leader Nicole arrived this morning with three of her workers and they immediately went to work on a deep cleaning of our home. They were prompt, thorough, polite, and energetic. They left no stone unturned on the cleaning of our bathrooms and shower, including tiles and floors, baseboards, and chair, rails, fans, and even the oven. This was the first time I’ve ever had a cleaning service and I was very comfortable with this team. I’m looking forward to having a cleaning service on a regular basis.

Carlos and Cindy put in LVP for us as part of a renovation project we were doing as well as replacing our carpeted stairs with Oak. The work was excellent with focus on detail. Carlos did amazing work transitioning the oak stairs to the LVP. Cindy and Carlos were great to deal with throughout the project and I would highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.

We’ve had our sunroom enclosure for about 8 months, enough time for a good shakedown. It’s perfect. The windows are high quality and work well. The room remained comfortable through last summer and this past winter. The project was quick, clean, and the crew was great. No complaints.

I had wanted to convert my screened in porch as an extension to my living room. Every detail of the process was exceptional. I met with Eddie who provided me with a quote and then submitted a drawing. Each phase was handled by wonderful contractors: demolition, building the 8x11 room, knocking down a wall in the living room, sheetrock, painting, trim, etc. I was assigned a general contract, Todd Albright, who responded to my texts immediately, stopped by often and called me with status of project.

I love, love, love this service. It works! I have bad reactions to bites and this service has been a lifesaver for me. They always show up when they tell you they will, with excellent communication. The exterminator that was at Arbor Landing at Compass Pointe was Bobby and his right hand man, Diggs! Both gentlemen went above and beyond for both the community but they are so good with the residents. They are awesome to work with and the friendliest guys I know! Hughes Gardening literally finished our backyard install hours ago and I am so elated I don't know what to do with myself other than write a review as fast as possible. From start to finish, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We have a large backyard, but it's super long/skinny so we worked with Trey on the design and best way to maximize the space so that it was beautiful, functional and clean. We knew we wanted a play area for the kids, grilling/fire pit area and eventually the space to build out the deck. It was like Trey read my mind and just went to work and surpassed ALL of my expectations. Communication, installation, delivery, employees, timeliness, all 10/10. I cannot recommend them more. These guys did an incredible job cutting back my overgrown shrubs and mulching my front and side beds. The attention to detail was phenomenal. They had removed the previous bedding, bringing the beds down to dirt in order to put down a fresh layer of mulch. They communicated extremely well and were very responsive. I would highly recommend them for your landscaping projects.
I wish every business were so competently run. Chose the palmetto I wanted and scheduled the date and time of installation. On the day of, they called me and gave me a heads up that they were on their way. They came well within the one hour time frame that we had scheduled. It was not an easy location to install, so they had to do it by hand. They did an excellent job and gave me perfect instructions on how often to water, fertilize, etc. Everyone who helped me was wonderful to work with. I hope to be able to use them again in the future.

Advanced Irrigation came highly recommended by a neighbor, and they certainly lived up to the expectations. I called in the morning and Tom was at my house shortly after lunch, the same day! Amazingly responsive and knowledgeable about his field, Tom can be trusted to keep your system in peak operating condition. He even helped me out with a repair on my water supply that didn't really fall into his wheel house, and he could easily have referred me to a plumber causing me further delay, but he handled the repair quickly, professionaly, and reasonably. So I called Carolina dentist and they were able to get me in the same day for a cleaning and did her fillings right after her cleaning. The staff was amazing. Burns family dentistry was one of the best dentist experiences i’ve had! The staff were so nice and very helpful. The atmosphere of the office itself is so cute and calming. They made me feel very comfortable which is probably the most important aspect of a dentist! Dr. Burns was very informative and helpful with hygienic recommendations and explaining how and why dental issues can happen. 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for a practice that makes you feel part of the family!

These wonderful people are pure angels. Last year was really rough for my family and I. We took 3 major losses. My cousins and my grandma. Shortly after I got a diagnosis of Chari Malformation type 1. Shortly after I met with a Dr at Duke that originally stated it would be months before a surgery. The next day I received a call saying I needed brain surgery and that I had 12 days to get my affairs in order. ( keep reading and I’ll tell you about these amazing folks at LOD) I had my brain surgery on 3/21/24. The doctor told my family that I should be wheel chair bound and that I should’ve had multiple strokes. Through this process I had to pay thousands out of pocket to make sure I was still around for my children bc I’m all they have. After getting better I decided to focus on my teeth. I searched for months and found Live oak after reading some recommendations on Facebook. I had my initial visit and cried with my hygienist she was wonderful. But I recently went back for what I thought was a regular cleaning. After getting checked in and going to the back I encounter Robi (forgive me if I have her name wrong—brain surgery). She explained it was a deep cleaning and that there would be an out of pocket fee. But prior to the appointment there I had an eye appointment for new glasses bc the pressure in my brain was messing with my eyesight. So I explained this and was preparing myself to leave. Robi asked me to hold on for a moment, before she stepped out of the room she placed a heart shaped bell in my hands and explain that angels still exist. Oh man I cried, is she had only knew… I just gave my life to Christ on 9/21. #lifepointchurchILM she said it every time I heard it, it was angels. Man did I feel safe! God definitely knew I needed her. A few moments later another nice lady from the front came by and told me not to worry that we would figure it out. Jesus I cried way more. Listen these people are amazing. They have been kind, non judgmental, caring and compassionate from the very first visit. It literally took me days to write this as I didn’t want to make it long and drawn out but these beautiful people deserve all the praise and I can’t think them enough for seeing me the human and not just another patient. I simply can’t thank them enough and if you decide to go after reading this. Tell them Dawn sent you. Thank you again Live Oak Dental.

I have never had a bad experience here. All the staff are friendly, I never have to wait long, my hygienist always makes me feel comfortable and is very gentle, and they give you the best chapstick in your dental goodie bag. Dr. Watt is AMAZING. I had to have some fillings a couple of years ago. He finished them so quickly and painlessly. I haven’t had any issues with them being sensitive or even being able to tell they are there. The billing dept. is great about sending in pre authorizations and letting me know exactly how much I’ll owe. I highly recommend Wrightsville Dental!

Dr. Edgerton gave me my life back. I was completely destroyed having lost my teeth. When I first came to the office I was afraid to even open my mouth. I was ashamed, and wanted nothing more than to hide my smile at all coats. Now because of Dr. Edgerton and his staff, I have my life back. I can smile and speak, and feel comfortable doing it. Active Care Chiropractic has provided me with the best experience and recovery. I have been suffering from surgical scar pain for years, the laser treatment and active release they utilize has drastically improved my pain. Dr. McGraw only had 3 weeks to help me before I returned to school and in that time I have improved more than I thought possible. There team is amazing and works incredible hard to provide for each patient.

We recently took our 9month old dog Toby (a mini Golden-doodle)
to see Dr. Gail at Galligan Family Chiropractic. We had an excellent experience. We were met with a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere by both Susan and Dr. Gail. Dr. Gail assessed our sweet Toby and then made multiple gentle adjustments on him of which he handled extremely well. Dr. Gail also took the time to explain the areas in Toby’s spine that were out of alignment and how these adjustments will help his hip alignment as well as his gate and sitting. We also found Dr. Gail, very knowledgeable about healthy dog food options for our sweet Toby. We will definitely be back to see her again and would highly recommend Galligan Family Chiropractic.

Amazing Practice! I was involved in a Motor Vehicle accident in February 2025 and since my care has started here I have been treated with the utmost delicate needed care. Dr. Ada is very personable and hands on when it comes to your health and wellbeing. She ask you about your day and how you are feeling. When she took x-rays she immediately recognized trauma to my back, which no physician has ever talked to me about. I have been on omeprazole for several years and my primary doctor told me to get off it, but I continued to have acid reflux. Well Dr.Ada advised me to start taking apple cider vinegar before each meal, I’ve been off that medication ? for a month now. ??????.
I went to Dr. King because I was experiencing a lot of back pain and a struggle to eat due to many ribs I broke. Before seeing Dr. King I was stuck to eating 1 meal a day before going into bed ridden pain if I ate more. After Dr. King adjusted my ribs, I found myself able to eat 2 meals a day resulting in half the pain. He has been a life changing Chiropractor for me and I look forward to all we will continue to accomplish! If you are in an unheard of amount of pain, I would recommend him.
I have been visiting Dr. Kirby for routine adjustments and it has helped keep my headaches under control. He recently was able to manipulate an inflamed muscle that was effecting one whole side of my body and alleviate the pain. He’s extremely knowledgeable, caring and takes time to answer your questions and explains things clearly. The Back Mobile makes scheduling appointments so convenient! Highly recommended!

The most incredible vet in Wilmington! So beyond grateful for how much he cares for Bella and all pets. Bella suffered a horrible side effect from a drug called PosaTex that another vet prescribed to her which caused her to go 100% deaf in both of her ears. It was absolutely devastating and she was so miserable and confused for over a week. She also had a double ear infection. No one was willing to help. Dr Kerr was able to fit her in promptly and he recommended Ozone therapy. Within 24 hours of her first treatment, Bella’s hearing had significantly improved and her infection is almost gone at recheck that she has been fighting for over a month. Dr Kerr has truly saved us! We are so thankful her hearing is coming back. He also has checked in on us multiple times to see how she’s doing. Thank you so much!

I have been taking my dogs to Leonard Sykes since I moved here almost 6 years ago. I lost 1 of my dogs during that time to heart failure- Dr. Sykes was amazing throughout the entire treatment and I was blessed to have an extra 1.5 years I didn't think I would get. I have continued service with them since then with Beauby and each time the front desk staff is amazing- friendly, they genuinely care about you and your fur babies. I saw another post about not having your previous pets records. They had all my pets records when I arrived because I provided that information for them. It is your responsibility as a pet owner to have all that set up. Not the vets. As when you have a child you provide all previous child's records so the Doctors know. Don't blame the Dr for your lack of pet ownership. And having all the paperwork of your pets issues.
Dr.P is by far the best Vet in town! She’s super attentive, always remembers me and my pets and has never forced unnecessary procedures on me to make money. Her assistants are incredibly kind and I’ve seen them all handle even the most “behaviorally challenged” pets with love and care. Fantastic service and fantastic people at Four Oaks!
We bring our two cats here for rabies shots and exams. The staff is great and I would feel comfortable coming here if anything major ever happened to our cats.
Dr. Batts and everybody on his team are amazing. All our phone calls were returned same day and all our questions answered. Attention to detail on every level is great. Our dog had 2 major surgeries. Time was taken to explain every step. We knew exactly what to expect and what to do.
We are new to town and when I took my ill dog there, we were treated like we have been there for years. I love that Dr. Dugan my boy feel so comfortable by getting down to his level and talking to him and rubbing his head. I truly appreciated that for us both!
Dr. Manolukas was wonderful in treating our 17 year old kitty Leda. He carefully explained the diagnosis and realistic projection. The medicine heprescribed gave her and us weeks of happiness. He was patient and empathetic. Highly recommended and appreciated all he and the staff did for us.

The Dineen staff was excellent and supportive during the loss of my golden retriever "ladybug". I rescued that animal long ago and gave her the best life I could. She became a part of my family and loved us all very much. I was an absolute wreck and deeply appreciated the care they gave both ladybug and myself during her final moments. Dineen will be my vet of choice for the rest of my life.

Some were very nice but most appeared they were only there to do a job. Trinity however was very friendly and bubbly. Keeping my fur babies here for now.

I recently got my first puppy, Stella, a long-haired miniature dachshund. I was extremely nervous to leave her anywhere because I didn’t know how she would do. When I walked through the door, I immediately felt at ease. Jess was so attentive, and Stella immediately felt at home. She was able to roam and play instead of being locked up in a kennel. There are A LOT of groomers in very dog-friendly Wilmington NC. However, there's only one Bark Avenue and Christy. The premises are always spotless and Christy's wonderful little boy (Boo-Boo) patters about spreading calm and cheer to the clients. No racks of terrified pups awaiting their turn here, just a quiet, welcoming efficiency hangs in the air.
Christy herself is outstanding at her craft PLUS she listens carefully to what owners want done and always follows through. She is friendly, knowledgeable and highly professional. Finally, Christy is great at predicting what time your pup will be ready and, if she's held up for some reason, she lets you know in plenty of time. Howver, this almost never happens.
My pups, Mimi & Madeline always look great when I pick them up, and most importantly, they do not appear stressed in the least.

Highly recommend Longwave as your yoga home! This studio is clean, everyone is so friendly, and the space is very calming. I prefer yin yoga and this studio makes it so easy for me to focus and tune out everything else!
I began taking classes at In Balance Pilates Studio about a year ago. I have tried other chain pilates studios in the past to my dissatisfaction. In Balance been a game changer for my pilates practice. Carrie and her staff and are highly experienced, enthusiastic and caring instructors.They are supportive to each individual student, while offering a positive and safe studio environment.

I took my first class and I loved it! I didn't know what to expect but this was really cool. You go in and there is a room to your left which has several machines on each sides. Each machine has different contraptions for different parts of your body. You get a full body workout and it is fun, exciting and relaxing all at the same time.
Fantastic experience. A complete understanding of issues presented to me by my PT guy. Fully intend to use Hands in the Sands in the future as part of my health regiment.

Stephen was very nice and professional. He listened to my concerns and he addressed my needs and he worked on the areas of my body that needed more attention which was my back and knees. I have had a great experience with all the staff at EmergeOrtho PT. The desk staff is very welcoming and pleasant. They work with you, not against you. My PT, Britt, is knowledgeable and great to work with. She doesn't pressure me about my at home workouts, but instead encourages me. The exercises she's taught me have helped my knee a lot. I am going to her next for my shoulder. The support staff are good as well.
When I first came to Life Force I'd been in pain for the better part of a decade. Upon leaving life force for the last time I am not in any pain for the first time in a decade. I worked with Jeremy,he was fantastic and that's putting it mildly. Over the course of our one-on-one sessions (huge plus), he helped me get back into my body and feel like myself. He is knowledgeable, funny and respectful. I would definitely return to see him again if needed.

McKay Acupuncture has been a blessing and life changing experience for me. I was able to schedule appointments with all three acupuncturists. Each one was absolutely amazing and brought something new to my life. They all listened, targeted areas of pain, and helped me tremendously. I went in using a cane with back pain, a frozen shoulder, and a foot I could barely walk on. After several visits, I'm cane free, walking everywhere with ease, and feeling so much better. I had tons of pain and inflammation in my body, some I didn't even realize. I've had multiple surgeries and several joints replaced. At 60, I was moving slower than I ever wanted to. Great for sciatica and muscular pain management. Andrew listens to your issues and asks questions to get you the best diagnosis and treatment. Also, if needed will supply you with the necessary Formula of TCM to keep you feeling GREAT. I'm a regular customer, and I will be for life. Anytime I have a pain from aching muscles to an over strained back to that sciatica that thinks it has a right to come back to my body, I can get treated by Andrew kingoff and feel fantastic for a long period of time.
