My two daughters started violin lessons with Chloe about two years ago and it has been such a wonderful experience for the entire family. She is passionate about teaching and it shows at every lesson. My daughters look forward to lessons and I have truly enjoyed attending as well. Chloe is so enthusiastic and makes every lesson fun. Her lessons are very organized with just the right amount of information given out at a time. My younger daughter who initially showed no interest in playing the violin, is now working on Perpetual Motion and has grown to love the instrument! Thank you, Chloe, for being so patient and always encouraging her. My older daughter has blossomed from playing Bunny Ballad pieces to Gossec Gavotte and is now ready to start Book 2! Chloe is an amazing teacher as well as a very talented violinist! I highly recommend her to anyone searching for a violin teacher.
I visited Sunmed - Lafayette and had such a great experience. What really stood out to me right away was the staff — the girls working there were incredibly sweet, welcoming, and genuinely knowledgeable. You can tell they care and actually understand the products and services they offer.
I had the opportunity to try several of their wellness modalities, including the pulse electromagnetic therapy, red light therapy, and brain fitness. I can truly see how each of these supports overall wellness in different ways. The one that stood out to me the most, though, was the red light therapy — it was deeply relaxing. I noticed an enhanced mood afterward and really enjoyed the anti-aging benefits for my face.
Another thing I loved about this location is their product selection and the fact that they offer samples, so you can actually feel the effects before committing. I especially enjoyed their kava drops (and was pleasantly surprised to learn it’s their own brand). I also picked up their all-in-one mushroom extract gummies, which I’m excited to try, along with a relaxation bath bomb.
Overall, Sunmed feels like more than just a wellness store — it has a calm, spa-like atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and take care of yourself. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend checking it out if you’re interested in holistic wellness.

I found Laurel about a year ago based on her 5-star online reviews. The haircut styling she has done for me has exceeded my expectations. Not only does she listen carefully and thoroughly to what I want, she masterfully follows through and does it, even better than I expected. In addition, I always enjoy talking with her during the process.

I went to Emily for a fresh new cut and color. I had not colored my hair in about 6 years. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she went to work delivering better than the picture! I've been going to Shanna for years. I would never have stayed so long if she wasn't great. As a person, she's kind, friendly and fun. As a stylist she's skillful, knowledgeable and fairly priced. I don't even specify what to do; I just let her go to town and it always comes out well. I tried numerous other people before making Shanna my go-to. I just trust her to do a great job every time.

My barber Francesco recently started working here Sun - Tues and I have been getting my haircut from him here ever since. The facility is quite nice, the seating is comfortable in the waiting area and I’ll stations have barber chairs and their own personal hair washing station.
Absolutely love this place. Moved back to the Bay Area recently and was looking for a go-to spot. For the price point this is by far the best place I’ve found. I’ve gotten my hair cut by Manny twice and he exceeded all expectations. One of the best parts is his communication. He doesn’t just let you pick a haircut and roll with it (I’m sure he would if you really wanted to though). He actually takes the time to talk through it and what is best for your hair. Not only did he nail the cut but perfectly told me how to care for my hair and the small things to keep it exactly how we talked about. 5/5 stars, I’ll be going here for the foreseeable future.

I had a long day at work and Robert let me relax without any forced conversation and did an amazing job with my haircut. All the guys there are great at what they do, but if you’re like me and prefer to keep conversation minimal with your barber, give Robert a try!
Went to Michelle and all I can say is wow! My nails look beautiful. My nails are real and very long. Michelle did an absolute perfection of a job on both my nails and gel pedicure. I might add she actually scrubbed my feet which a lot of places don’t do these days.

Since I started getting Russian manicures, I’ve never looked back. It’s a dry manicure and they really clean up your cuticles. I do hard gel and they last 5-6 weeks. No breakage and no peeling. They are always 10/10!
Got a basic gel pedicure here, very nice staff although I made a reservation and still had to wait 15 minutes until they could start with me. The process was relaxing but the attention to detail could be better, as there are a few spots on my toes that aren't painted well.
I used to get all my manicures here, but its really hit or miss with who you get. Some manicurists are amazing, but then I had a couple who really messed up my nails. It was hard to request someone by name because of how busy they get. So its hard to predict if you’ll love or hate your manicure here

Danielle is the best. I have been going to her 12+ yrs and she is the only one trust. My dark blond hair easily turns orange and brassy when lightened. Several other stylists have been confident they could handle it but they failed leaving me orange, but not Danielle! She stays current on different styles and new products so if I want a change she is prepared and educated. Bayalage, Yes! Olaplex, Yes! Beachy waves, Yes! I always feel like a star leaving her care and with my locks on point!
Elizabeth gives the best men’s haircuts, hand down! I have been coming to Elizabeth for years and she definitely gives me the best haircuts money he can afford. Plus, she’s very affordable. So that works well too! If you want the best haircut in town and want it from somebody who is a master of their craft, look no further and give Elizabeth a call! My daughter and my wife also go to her for women’s cuts and have nothing but great things to say.

For such an "affluent" area, Lafayette is lacking in quality nail salons, and salons in general. I had someone mention she had been going to Mon Mon, for close to 12yrs, and wouldn't go anywhere else. So, I had to give it a try. WOW. It exceeded my expectations. I've been to resort spas around the world, this place is equivalent of a high-class resort in Tahiti. Thank you so much to all that you do. I don't mind spending a bit extra, to be pampered like a Queen, and with the most up-to-date equipment and services.

I cannot say enough about how much I love how Kate has transformed my hair! I realized that the Denise W review is referencing my hair! Thin, it was greying, I was coloring it myself. Kate worked with me to transform my hair to a blonde/grey combo that completely hides my grey. But I can now go 3 months without coloring, and it still looks good then! Baby highlights to blend with my grey. Coloring less and changing up my shampoo/conditioner routine and my hair is also healthier now! I would like to add that I never leave reviews, but want people to know about Kate! She is the grey whisper (how I found her on a FB group).
Rosiane was amazing! This was my first facial and my skin feels so declogged and refreshed. Rosiane caters to your skin type and even gives wonderful recommendations for products that could help improve your skin after the facial. I highly recommend her and will be going back again!

I had such a pleasurable experience I don’t even know where to begin. I received the gift certificate for a facial for my bday, and ive only had one other facial over 15-20yrs ago so i really didn’t know what to expect. Kim was amazing, communicative and educational. She explained why she was doing things, and how me doing this at home would help me reach my skin care goals. She even taught me how to use my new tool I bought! My favorite part of the facial was when she used a motorized brush on my face, it was so soothing, also enjoyed the mask THAT SHE CUSTOM MIXED JUST FOR MY FACE. ? Which brings me to another thing I learned about Ms Evans, she’s a mixologist (I’m pretty sure that’s not the technical term?)…But the point is she can custom make ur skin masks, massage oil, and ladies foundation!! I’ve never been to a facility that does all of that. ***Context: some women have a hard time finding an “over the counter” foundation that truly matches their complexion and/or skin tone. So the fact that you can have it custom made @ 2gorjis is a game changer*** So all in all I’m over the moon impressed with 2gorjis Health & Wellness. Big Red has been my contractor for over 20 years for my 1923 house. Projects Big Red has done for me: Complete Kitchen remodel (2023), Deck extension (2023), complete Bath remodel (2005), and many other smaller projects. Projects start on time and end on time; workmanship is high-quality; cost estimates are reliable; the work crews are a pleasure to deal with. Most importantly, when something isn't quite right, Kathy will work to make it right. It's great not to have to worry! Big Red will never be the cheapest bid on a job, but in the end Big Red delivers value for the money.
I hired Lamorinda Construction and Consulting to build a detached ADU and add a new master bedroom and bathroom suite onto my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the result.
They met the timeline they originally estimated, which I know is not always easy with projects of this size. The quality of the construction was excellent, and it’s clear they take a lot of pride in their work. Their crew and subcontractors were always professional, friendly, and respectful, and the craftsmanship throughout the project was superb.
One thing I especially appreciate is the support they provide even after the project is completed. In the two years since construction finished, I’ve reached out a few times with minor questions or issues, and they’ve always responded quickly and been happy to help—even when it wasn’t clear whether the issue was related to the original construction.
Overall, I highly recommend Lamorinda Construction. They deliver high-quality work, stand behind what they build, and are a pleasure to work with.

I am a new patient, but already feel at home with the team at The Natural Tooth! I had to switch dentists because my former dentist dropped my insurance carrier- but the staff at The Natural Tooth were able to squeeze me in for an appointment a couple days after I called. Great bedside manner by the hygienist and doctor, which was much appreciated by this Nervous Nellie that has a lot of dental issues- ekkkk. The front desk administrators were kind and filled me in (no pun intended) on what to expect in future visits/costs. Happy I found this place.

Dr John Kim and Claudia run a wonderful office. I've been going here for 5 years. When I started, there was a billing issue, which they resolved for me quickly. I've since done Invisalign with them, many checkups, and a couple fillings. I trust them to take care of me and to do the right thing. And it's always a ton of fun to catch up with the folks at the office whenever I visit. You won't look back if you work with them, I promise!

I can’t say enough great things about Gil at Jackson Chiropractic! He is truly a miracle worker when it comes to back pain and chiropractic care. I’ve struggled with back issues my entire life, and after seeing countless professionals, no one has been able to provide the relief that Gil has.
Beyond his expertise in back pain, what has truly changed my life is his work on my TMJ issues. I’ve dealt with chronic headaches for as long as I can remember due to TMJ tension, and after trying multiple dentists and different treatments with little success, I finally found relief with Gil. I first saw Dr Jakobsen when I was 14 years old running cross country. Now I see him whenever I'm in town because the fact is no one compares to him. While other chiropractors focus solely on the spine, Dr Jakobsen notices the whole body. If your knee is off or your shoulder is off, psoas muscle is tight, etc, he will notice it AND fix it. He also has the most positive and warm energy and I always leave there feeling pain-free and more hopeful and optimistic about my health problems. Very grateful.

Following a referral from a friend I started seeing James several months ago. Although I was not experiencing any pain, I was definitely going through some very stressful events. Not fully understanding the techniques I decided to give him a try and haven't looked back.
Each session has been a bit different but equally as effective and even though the touch is so quiet and relaxed, I feel better than if I had just received a 90 minute full body massage.
