The office staff is very professional and good at scheduling, rescheduling, working with insurances, and relaying information and communication with the doctor.
I do all of my appointments online which, I must admit, I was unsure about in the beginning. I have come to believe that they are even better than in-person appointments. Dr. Rao is a really great listener. He is kind and engaged, and often refers back to things we have discussed previously. He helps me understand the possible reasons why I react the way I do, and helps me put plans in place to react better the next time. Dr. Michas is very professional and really listens to me before prescribing medications. He truly seems to care about his patients and takes the time to get to know them, allowing us to tell him how we are feeling. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is seeking psychiatric care.
Dr. Michas is incredibly warm and empathetic. I was very nervous about my first appointment, but Dr. Michas made me felt completely heard and validated. He has a calm, non-judgmental presence that makes discussing difficult topics so much easier. He also took the time to explain things thoroughly.
