I usually keep my hair short, and it's not easy to find someone who really understands how to shape and style it properly. Blaine absolutely nailed it. The style is still beautiful, easy to manage, and grows out so naturally without losing its shape.

“I've been going to Salon Cartier more than 10 years (15??--it's been a while). It's always been the best experience and I look forward to it every time. It goes without saying, Robin and her crew do an amazing job on my hair, but they also make it feel like the most welcoming and friendly environment, almost like hanging out with friends who happen to be extremely serious about making you look good.

I had pretty long hair when I started going there--and I used to think long hair was kind of self-sustaining and didn't require much attention, but I was amazed at how much they were able to do with it to really make me look great--more rock-and-roll and less barbarian hippie (which is where I think I was at when I started with them). Eventually my hair got a bit thin and my hairline was giving me trouble, and I decided to go with a shorter look, that I've stuck with now for years, and it's a great look that downplays any struggles I've had with my quality and quantity of hair. They also do an amazing job on the color--it looks totally natural, though they can make your gray hair look awesome, too, if you decide to go that route.

Anyway, Salon Cartier is highly recommended by me--some men feel weird about going to a premium salon, but you'll feel right at home and it's totally worth it.“

“I went to Beauty Lounge and Wine Bar for the first time last night and left teary eyed, but not for any reason other than the fact that I felt so pretty from the hair cut and color I received from Jonathan.

I came in with hair that kept reverting to red and a weird, shelf of hair that made no sense. He went through the approach for the cut, potential costs, consulted neighbor hair stylists, and got started. I was there for 4 hours and had a couple of glasses of wine while I was there (they have a full bar!!). I explained all of this to Haley before sitting in her chair and she told me with certainty that she could fix my hair and make me look astonishing for my upcoming birthday weekend, and my goodness, she delivered! She worked her magic and I walked out of her shop feeling like a brand new woman! She cut off the dead, extra crispy & fried ends of my hair and refreshed my entire look, all while giving me the exact haircut I wanted! I remember looking at the finished product in the mirror and going through a range of emotions; I genuinely did not know how to react because I was so blown away that Haley managed to save my hair within an hour!!!!

I finally understood what it meant when people say someone's hair is bouncy -- she literally gave me the bounciest of blowouts and I was walking around with pure confidence for the first time in months. Haley was incredibly positive throughout the time I sat in her chair and created such an unforgettable experience.

For the first time in my life, I am waiting for my hair to grow out so I can book another appointment and get my hair beautifully washed, cut, and blown out by Haley!
