Alan, Joanne and William are without a doubt the best in the business. Not only do they have the most reasonably priced haircuts that I have come across in the Bay Area, but the quality of their work is the best I have ever experienced. They care about you as a person and that is felt immediately when you walk in. There is always a friendly dog to be greeted by at the door when you arrive and great conversations to follow. Amplify Barber Shop is an authentic throwback to what a barber shop should be. Nice, sociable barbers/stylists that take the time to get to know you and your family. A place where fellow customers converse with you and banter with the barbers. Amplify makes you feel welcome right away and you quickly feel at ease to join in on conversations about music, sports, family, and whatever else comes up. Next thing you know you are done and sporting a solid, professional haircut. The laid-back shop dogs are great, too. How cool is it to get a haircut while a little dog is chilling on your lap. Here you aren't just a number; you are a part of the vibe. Thank you Amplify!

Got a great haircut here! I was trying to grow out my hair but it was looking awkward. I went in, told Joanne what I was looking for - keep it long on top and clean up the sides - and I got exactly what I wanted. I'll be back!
