Some recent health changes had occurred since my last massage with Megan. I was impressed with how carefully she listened to my concerns so she could appropriately tailor her massage approach. She also made some recommendations to me on how I could possibly mitigate neck and facial tension. She treats her clients with respect and professionalism.
I have had prolotherapy for my neck and stem cell plus prolotherapy for my knees. my pain has been greatly decreased and my mobility in walking and other movements has been improving significantly since Dr Fields treated my knees. he's a true expert and I recommend him highly!

Alexis is a hair genius. I’m a blonde and it’s hard to get my color right, but he knocks it out of the park every appointment. The color is consistently gorgeous - not too yellow, orange or white - and as a blonde, you know how important that is!! Very thankful to have found him!!
Aleena gave me an amazing massage - she gets 5 stars. The facilities themselves are fine - tiny steam room in the locker room and waiting room is nice but nothing special. For such a nice hotel, I would expect a bit more and not have to walk through the gym in my robe to get to my massage. Overall, the service was well worth it but just don’t expect to spend hours before or after using their facilities bc there isn’t much.

I highly recommend Elemental Music to any child who wants to expand their musical opportunities. My older son has been in the Elemental guitar program since 4th grade. He is now in 8th grade and participates in the Chamber Music Institute. He originally started guitar in private solo lessons, and Elemental guitar gave him the chance to enjoy making music with other kids his age. I had no idea a program like this existed for guitar. He didn’t start as a classical guitarist, but he has learned so much by exploring a new genre of music. My younger son has also enjoyed playing in the Elemental guitar group and I hope one day he’ll be able to join his older brother in the Chamber Music Institute!

I love that Tina (the salon owner and my stylist) uses organic, natural, and non-toxic products at her salon. I was so nervous to try grey coverage and balayage on my untreated hair, but she did a wonderful job and always has made sure to honor my requests/needs and adjust anything (with a smile!) that I wasn't 100% happy with. Best barber we’ve ever seen. Not only is it a beautifully clean shop, but the employees are INCREDIBLE. My husband got his hair cut last week and they did a wonderful job. I mentioned that I was going to need a buzz cut to start brain cancer treatment the following week. The owner, Dean, told me he would do it for free. He really is so sweet and caring. All of the barbers are. Had my head shaved today and it was a great experience. I am so grateful to have found Dean’s Barbershop!!

Mike is the best. I discovered him by chance about a year ago. I live in the neighborhood, and used to just let the first available barber at the shop cut my hair. That’s how I first met Mike, but ever since my first cut with him, I haven’t let anyone else cut it.
He’s super talented, executes exactly what I ask for, and is always a pleasure to chat with and makes me feel welcome. Additionally, the shop has a very cool old-school vibe, and the prices are quite reasonable.
I highly recommend Mike to anyone in the area. And even if you’re not in the area, he’s worth the drive!

The Damn GOOD Pedicure truly lives up to its name: damn good! I’m still adjusting from the quick and immediate life of nail salons to the small and personalized experience of a private studio but I’m loving the attention to detail, which the opposite, was my biggest pet peeve at (most) nail salons. I’ve been looking for the services provided by MKM Nails for quite some time without any luck until I found Mallory at MKM nails. I wanted to find a CLEAN space to have my manicures (I’m really bad at doing my own nails).My nails have special needs- they are thin and brittle and they cannot handle the rough tools used at all of the other salons I had visited in the past. Mallory takes her time to make sure you get the cleanest and most precise manicure. I just love my nails, I can’t tell you enough. I do the dazzle dry manicure. This polish can be removed easily with nail polish remover (no soaking drills etc). It dries very quickly after it is applied so no wait time and it lasts way longer than a traditional manicure without the damage caused by gel polish. If you have sensitized, brittle, thin, delicate, problematic nail beds then Mallory at MKM Nails is a must see. You can easily book online on her website. This was my first visit to this nail salon, and I had a great experience. The salon has recently been renovated and is absolutely beautiful: clean, modern, and very welcoming. The staff was friendly from the moment I walked in and made me feel comfortable throughout my appointment.

Dennis is a master of his craft. I’ve been going to him for over 5 years and always leave with a great cut. He has a strong eye for detail and a good sense for which hairstyles look good on different people. We’ve changed up my cut a couple times now and he’s never led me astray. Brianna was my Botox lady and was amazing. I did 50 units on my forehead, frown lines, smile lines, and got a brow lift that I’m very pleased with as it didn’t interfere with my forehead lines. They also do hyaluronic filler which I didn’t get this time but saw someone there who just got it in their cheek/temple area and looked amazing. I’ve been going to European Wax Center for years, Since they opened on Montana and while I’ve had several wonderful waxers, they always seem to leave just when I find someone I really love. This time, though, I found the GOAT: Joelle.
Joelle is, without question, the best waxer I’ve ever had. I honestly couldn’t believe how painless the entire appointment was. Usually, even with an experienced waxer, you expect at least a little sting or pinch. Not with Joelle. There wasn’t a single moment where I tensed up or thought, “Here it comes.” It was so smooth and comfortable that I almost forgot I was getting waxed. That’s how talented she is.
I don’t even come in that often because my hair grows so slowly maybe four times a year but I’ll gladly schedule around Joelle’s availability. If she ever leaves, I’ll probably follow her wherever she goes.
Now for the downside and unfortunately, it’s a big one.
The front desk experience at the Montana location has consistently been disappointing. it seems like they go through front desk staff very quickly. I’m probably because they’re not selling or whatever the criteria is to be a front desk staff there but that’s the biggest turn off because as a person who gets waxed I’m always gonna come back. I don’t need to have a sales pitch. I’ll always spend my money at a place that has quality waxers. Women will always go to a place they trust They don’t need to have a sales pitch of buying packages if they want to they will. I hate when companies do this. It’s the worst thing a huge turn off and I don’t think one woman or a man that walks in there would not agree with Me The people actually performing the waxing are fantastic, but the reception staff often comes across as cold, insincere, and overly focused on selling instead of serving customers. Every visit feels like the same scripted sales pitch about buying a Wax Pass because “prices are going up.” I’ve heard it over and over, yet somehow the urgency never seems to match reality. It feels less like helpful information and more like pressure.What makes it worse is that the friendliness feels forced. Instead of feeling welcomed or appreciated as a loyal customer, I often leave the front desk feeling like I’m just another sales opportunity. There’s a big difference between excellent customer service and reading from a script, and unfortunately, it shows.In fact, I never leave my tip with the front desk because I don’t feel comfortable trusting that it will make it to my waxer. I always bring cash and hand it directly to my waxer before I leave the room.Thankfully, once you’re with the waxers, the experience completely changes. Every Waxer I’ve had has been wonderful, but Joelle is on another level. She is exceptionally skilled, incredibly professional, and truly gifted at what she does. I can’t recommend Brows to Brazilians enough. I had a hard time finding someone who really understood brow shaping and tinting until I found Jacqui. She is incredibly gentle, precise, and truly talented. I have also gotten body waxing with Jacqui, and she somehow makes it nearly painless while keeping the whole experience fun and comfortable. Aleena gave me an amazing massage - she gets 5 stars. The facilities themselves are fine - tiny steam room in the locker room and waiting room is nice but nothing special. For such a nice hotel, I would expect a bit more and not have to walk through the gym in my robe to get to my massage. Overall, the service was well worth it but just don’t expect to spend hours before or after using their facilities bc there isn’t much.

Justine is by far the best lash specialist I’ve ever been to! I’ve been going to her for years now and only occasionally when I’m out of state do I have to go to someone else. Her salon is sooo adorable. She’s actually so sweet and has become basically a therapist and friend haha, we talk the whole time even though I can be introverted with other people.
She knows exactly what to do with your lashes - other places will ask you what # of lash you want in which location and I’m like idk…just do what looks good. I’ve never had a lash poke me in the eye from her. I’ve also never been accidentally poked or anything like that from Justine. Just amazing quality every time.

I went in on a whim to look at tattoos and I met with ChaCha and she was so nice. Anyway I looked through bulk designs and it turned out I liked a lot of her works so I asked her about this tattoo design I had in mind for years, not to mention this is my very first tattoo and she was so patient with me! We walked back, free consultations btw, and she drew the design on my hand and I really felt her trying to understand what I wanted and drew it on me so I could see what I like. The tattoo process was very easy and she was very reassuring and talked with me through the whole thing ☺ I would totally recommend this shop

Wall access plumbing installation was completed for a newly added bathroom where pipes had to run behind walls. The plumber installed the system cleanly and tested for leaks. The setup is fully functional and hidden from view.
I needed a whole new drain pipe for a sink that probably hadn’t been updated since 1952 when my house was originally built. JMS was able to come diagnose the pieces that needed replacing, order the parts and come back out the next day. My plumber, Orlando, went above and beyond, clearing gunk build up in non replaced pieces. He also was super friendly, and allowed my dogs to be in the house during the work. It’s always nice when my dogs are able to watch ;)

Jerry Botham has been our trusted plumber for nearly 20 years now. We have a very fussy, 1928 Spanish house on a hillside. Our plumbing has always been tricky. But, Jerry really can do it all and he does every job with very clear communication, attention to detail and a high level of expertise. He has done everything from replace and repair major components to small things like snaking the drains. Once, when we discovered a leak at the street, he came out right away and could have just fixed it and charged us but instead he told us that he thought the city was actually responsible. He explained everything in detail to me and told me what to say to the city to get them to fix it at their cost, which they eventually did. He is very trustworthy and always does the job the right way. He is also on time and returns calls quickly. I can't say enough good things about this guy!
I needed an immediate fix when my water heater broke down. Plumb Inc. was a timely and effective plumber. After taking the time to thoroughly explain the issue, everything is operating as it should.
We had a relatively simple rewiring job, relocating an outlet and a light fixture. It needed to be done very quickly while the walls were open in order not to delay other construction jobs. Roman made a fair offer, arrived on time and completed the job with meticulous attention to all details. (When he arrived, I remembered that we got an excellent quote from him last year for some 240V work, but we later decided to do a complete kitchen remodel and the contractor had his own electrician.)

I travel for work, and I have for 35 years. Guessing about 150 hotels per year, that adds up to a lot of worldwide interpretations of a clean and tidy place to rest your head. I travel less now, and as a single man in my ‘50’s, I would rather spend more time enjoying Southern California than cleaning my house. That’s where these lovely and talented house cleaners come in to the equation. They have been servicing my house for just over a year, once a month or so, and it’s been a joy coming home from running around all day to walk into a perfectly cleaned home. It’s to the point now where I greet them at the door, take off for a couple of hours and the rest is completely taken care of. It’s full proof, and expertly and professionally done. They will even work around my schedule if I’m not able to let them in, and everyone has been courteous, thorough and pleasant.
I’m old haha. And I’ve tried multiple cleaning services in the past with too much hope on my end and not enough results on the services end. Not the case here. Trust me, and trust them. If you are looking for some really trustworthy and nice people to arrive and deliver, look no further.

Uli, Romero and company did excellent work on our recent ADU, plus house extension/remodeling, about 700 sf in all. Their bid was reasonable, and their work was mostly excellent, plus they responded to special requests without question (such as moving a wall that was already framed, for example). Romero, especially, was fantastic. They also followed up on items after construction, worked through the pandemic (which struck in the middle of our project), and finished in a timely manner. A strength of Bayview is doing much of the work themselves, so they do demolition, foundation work, framing, painting, etc. not everything, but a lot, and that speeds up the process. There were change orders of course, many generated by LADBS (one rather pricey a sewer line change), and a few others, all reasonable and within our expected budget. An area of weakness is outdoors: we had a lot of DG, and though they worked with it, we had to redo with an experienced landscape person. Likewise, when we had our deck put in, a recalcitrant tree kept growing up underneath. We eventually hired a tree-removal specialist, at some expense, to get rid of the tree roots. (Wish we had done this to start.) in spite of those issues, the overall experience was quite good. We recommend Bayview, and especially Romero, vey highly.

Quality and workmanship come number one to this company. They do a great job on restoration and Historical Buildings. One of the few companies I know of that believe's quality comes first. They do a lot of restoration for city, county and government. Fantastic ethics with craftsmanship makes Chameleon Paintworks the best. Very good pricing for the quality of work done.

Having to tent your house and move out for fumigation is no fun. But Dewey Pest Control Made it as easy and seamless as possible. Jose, our inspector was thorough, accurate, and good humored. Marlon, the chief of the crew that did the fumigation was very clear, easy to talk to and considerate. We had forgotten to pack up some produce that was in the refrigerator, and they very thoughtfully, took it out of the refrigerator and left it for us in a bag at the front of our house.
They arrived on time and we were able to re-occupy our home at the estimated time. I would highly recommend them and hope they’re still around in 20 years when we will need to do this again.

First, I knew she was great during my first visit (it had been a long time since I had seen my last dentist) and went through each of the teeth I needed fillings on. Attentive, honest and knowledgeable. But this time, I had come for a normal cleaning and had also noticed an almost chip in my front tooth. I take a lot of care for my teeth, so I was distraught and expected solutions to be either 1 - wait for the tooth to chip on its own and fill it or 2 - some over intensive/expensive procedure but Dr. Follette was able to put a simple bonding and composite over the chip and the results were incredible! I cannot recommend Dr. Le and the Spinal Stenosis and Disc Center enough. I have a herniated disc and was struggling with terrible nerve pain in my leg and within 3 weeks of visits with Dr. Le I was already back to standing up straight and regaining mobility. Dr. Le is incredibly thorough and was the first medical professional that I felt really listened to me about my symptoms and was ready to make a plan to get back to normal. When I had a flare up (my fault), Dr. Le saw me the same day and was able to get me in next day with a pain management doctor. While I was recovering, Dr. Le consistently checked in to see how I was doing and helped me communicate with other providers. I had to leave the LA area to take a temporary position in another state and Dr. Le called my new chiropractor to make sure that my care would be consistent moving forward. Dr. Le and the rest of the staff of Spinal Stenosis and Disc Center really go above and beyond to care for their patients and I am so lucky to have found them. Thank you!

Always a great experience at Weinzoff Chiropractic. Been going there for many years and the staff is friendly and efficient and Dr Weinzoff always gives great adjustments and is knowledgeable on many other aspect of the anatomy to help deal with injuries/recovery.

I stumbled into Prodigy almost a year ago needing help with my chronic right shoulder and neck pain. I found their Santa Monica office worked best for me. Oscar Torres is my chiropracter there. He is rocks. He uses the right touch to realign my spine. I have graduated to every other week. Prodigy keeps spines in the right place.
I was suffering from SI pain, Sacroilliac joint pain, that radiated into my right hip and butt muscles. It started years ago and would subside and reemerge regularly. It was so bad in the past coupe of years that periodically I resorted to using trekking sticks to remain mobile. I started wearing an SI "belt" in the past year which helped some but I was still having pain during physical activity. I decided that since my orthopedist couldn't help me and physical therapy provided limited success I'd see a chiropractor. I have seen chiropractors off an on since the '70s so chiropractics wasn't new to me. I searched Yelp and decided I'd start with Dr. Mitchell and if I didn't get results I'd try another chiropractor. Because I'm in my seventies, I have a COMPLEX medical/health history. First thing I liked about Dr. Mitchell is that before he came into the room he took sufficient time to read my health history. Now some of that history is directly linked to my SI joint pain but multiple myeloma cancer, chronic kidney disease, etc. are just other things I deal with. But I wanted my mobility back, free from pain and that's why I was switching to a chiropractor. Dr. Mitchell is trained in numerous chiropractic modalities and uses different ones depending on what my SI joint needs that day. I'm HAPPY to say, I'm attending my senior aerobics classes again three times a week! I'm wearing my SI belt infrequently and after each chiropractic visit I can feel the subtle changes in my posture, balance and alignment. It's subtle and one of the ways I notice it I can feel different muscles engaging to maintain the new alignment. Be aware, he actually works Tuesday and Thursdays, not M,W,F as listed here on Yelp. Dr. Burton and Mrs. Burton are 100% the best. They genuinely care and listen to what your situation is and do the best they can to get you in promptly to heal your pain. Dr. Burton has worked wonders for me. Dr. Burton is a jack of all trades. Gives you great advice has multiple affordable options to help heal you quickly. You are definitely safe in their hands . I can’t thank them enough for all the last minute appointments they got me in when I was in pain.
After my first session I walked out of there a new person. I had to go on a 30 minute walk to enjoy how my body felt before I got in the car to drive home. My hips and pelvis felt aligned and open. I could activate my glutes again through the gait cycle. And there was no cracking or agressive movements. He was releasing tightness in areas like the iliacus, hip flexors, and feet where other therapists have never been able to before. All my lower back and hip pain have been resolved, and he even provided me a great resource for foundation training to do on my own to maintain things. Trust me I've seen many PTs and massage therapists in my lifetime, and Dr. Charlie stands out from them all.
DC JANE IS TERRIFIC!!! I HAD PAIN IN MY NECK-FOR A DECADE, FROM FLYING OFF A MOTERCYCLE IN AN ACCIDENT!!! Couldn't find any relief from Traction Therapy, Ultrasound etc... What ever was covered by Insurance 50 years ago. I could not sleep for hours sometimes, never in Years comfortable trying to sleep Today,,, Pain in My Neck trying to do anything is History for Me!!! Just wish I was Younger

Dr. George is the best!! I took my dogs to him for over 20 years. The man loves all dogs. My Welsh Terrier had a degenerative disc problem. Dr. Georges acupuncture gave Oliver a lot of relief. I have moved to Arizona and I have taken my current Welsh Terrier to over 10 vets to find someone close in knowledge and compassion to my favorite vet. My search has been futile. Here they treat dogs like cars going in tor a tune up. You first meet with the assistant and then the vet comes in to check out your dog. Than the assistant comes back out and put a list of services they think your dog needs on a computer screen mounted from the ceiling so you can get a good view. screen. It is never less than $500. You are so lucky to have a Vet like Tony. Just appreciate him.
Many great things to say about SMPMC, however, this review is specifically about one of the team members, Monica Munoz. Monica is always upbeat, friendly, a great listener and always willing to go the extra mile in providing great customer service be it on the phone or when I have to bring my dogs to the office. It's stressful enough dealing with medical issues for our pets and while Monica understands this, she always try's to take care of the clients needs so that you as the client can test assure that everything behind the scenes will get taken care of. She's a true asset to SMPMC.
I definitely recommend VCA Main Street. I had an emergency and had to bring my dog in and they saw him right away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also followed up after my appointment to check on my dog.
Fortunate to have this vet urgent care in Santa Monica. I was able to walk in Sunday morning when my dog had an ear infection. The staff & vet Dr. Hinchey were kind and caring. Medical treatment was comprehensive and reasonable priced (for the area). I really felt good leaving, knowing that my dog was well taken care of, treatment plan in place with a follow up scheduled.
I’ve been here a few times for urgent care over the years, as well as some other ER vets in the area, Dr. Hinchey is a gem!

Can't say enough good things about Power Yoga East. I've taken 3 classes there in the last week and all of them were great. The space is beautiful and each instructor was unique and tremendously helpful. I've found it to be one of the kindest and most positive spaces I've been in.

I highly recommend this studio. I’ve tried two other Pilates studios, but none convinced me the way this one did. What I especially appreciate is:
- the personal attention you get from the teacher thanks to the small class sizes,
- the experience of the teacher (Molly is also the owner),
- the friendly and calm atmosphere (no music and plenty of daylight),
- and the way the teacher adjusts the exercises to your level (not too easy, not too hard).
Great studio, my teacher had amazing energy on Saturday morning. They have traditional beds wich I love. Looking forward to go back

I have been doing Pilates with Jolette for the past 7+ years. She has a passion for Pilates and sessions with her are both rigorous and fun. She is an excellent, meticulous teacher. My strength, posture, flexibility and balance have significantly improved since I began working with her. Group lessons are fine for an introduction to Pilates but if you really want to learn Pilates, with detailed one-on-one instruction, I strongly recommend you get started with Jolette.
True Pilates Santa Monica is the real deal! The owner is patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Every session is tailored to her clients’ needs. And as a Romana’s Pilates International instructor trainer, she is precise and demanding (in a positive way) because she is so passionate about the work. Romana’s Pilates work is transformative and it’s a privilege to learn from Maytal.
I’m in my third trimester and dealing with a lot of tension, so I was so relieved to find Liz. She has a pregnancy massage table with a belly cutout, which made it possible to comfortably lie face down. Liz was kind, accommodating, and gave a wonderful massage that really helped relieve my aches and pains. I highly recommend her for prenatal massage!

Tracy is... magic. I came to her about 6 months ago looking for some restorative, calming massage in the midst of a lot of intensive bodywork I was doing to heal a herniated disc and long term imbalances. All of that was feeling like work and I wanted someone with a gentle but deep touch but who deeply understood the body. People with pain know you don't just want something soothing all the time.
I got so lucky to find Tracy - I planned to keep up both and now find I don't even need the other. She listens deeply to what's going on in your words, but from experience I know that she's going to immediately find what else is going on, and gently but firmly release it.
I always feel incredible immediately, during, and after. Can't recommend her enough for anyone looking for massage, bodywork, deep pressure, truly whatever you need I believe she can do it :)
Her space is lovely and plant filled as well. As if not enough just her massage, she also kindly offers guidance after the massage. She'll think of something that could help, tell me she'll text me it, and always follow through.

I had a 90 minute massage and she massaged every muscle in my body. I was having issues with my neck being stiff. She paid special attention to my neck and shoulders. It was a game changer. Thank you so much for such a great experience. .
Neha has helped me a ton with neck pain. She does a great job of explaining exercises and stretches to do in between sessions and I have seen significant improvement each week. The office is spa-like and super comfortable, each session feels both really relaxing and informative and I look forward to every appointment.

I had such a great experience at The Balance Lab Physical Therapy and Fitness. Justin was absolutely amazing. He performed the Epley maneuver for me and made a huge difference in how I was feeling. I came in with BPPV and was honestly really struggling, but he took the time to explain everything clearly so I understood what was happening and how the treatment would help.
What really stood out was how accommodating he was. My symptoms were pretty severe, and he made sure to fit me into his schedule, which I truly appreciated. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and wants to help them feel better as quickly as possible.
If you’re dealing with vertigo or BPPV, I highly recommend coming here. I felt heard, cared for, and most importantly, feel better!

Went my first time and tried their ozone sauna with red light, I’ve never been in a lay down sauna before, but it was such an amazing relaxing experience. Especially followed by cupping later and their ambient music, the whole time after I was extremely relaxed and energized at the same time, body felt amazing

I came to Dr. Marina seeking relief from chronic headaches that I've been dealing with for the past 20 years. I was recommended to see Dr. Eric after struggling with migraines that were radiating into my eye and honestly feeling like I had tried everything. From the very first appointment, he was incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in helping me feel better. Not only did he help tremendously with the migraines, but he also treated lower back pain that had been flaring up as well.
What really sets him apart is how much he understands the body as a whole. Every session feels tailored to exactly what’s going on, and he always has helpful recommendations or advice that continue helping long after the appointment ends. His dry needling has made such a difference for me, and the cupping treatments have also really helped speed up recovery and healing.
