For a long time i absolutely hated this spot because management is so rude and mean.... Until i met the lash artist Mary. She is an EXPERT in lash designs that fit your face and communicates so clearly on what you can get while demonstrating how the curl will apply to your own downward facing or upward facing lashes. She doesn't let you leave until you're satisfied & genuinely cares and takes passion in her work. The reason why certain CC Curls, M Curls, D curls don't look the same on your eye vs someone else's eye is because of your eye shape, whether you have a long mid face and or if you have downward facing lashes), strong long lashes or short volume lashes. These all play a role into * what curl to get (C, CC, M, L curl), * what style to get (fox eye, cat eye, doll eye) * what accent (wispy, wet effect, raised peaks, open eye) * weight (0.15 mm, 0.10 mm, 0.07 mm) * length (8-14 mm) * color (black, chocolate brown) My favorite everyday look: * CC Curl * Classic * Fox Eye/Cat Eye/Open Eye * Middle 11/12 mm pin eye * Rays 12-14 mm (14 on the corner for foxy effect) * overall 8-12 mm * 14 mm wispy accent peaks * Brown * 0.15 thickness" My favorite special events look: * 2D * M curl * wet effect * foxy eye * 8-12 mm 14 mm peaks
This is the third eyelash place I've gone to since moving to LA and I'm happy to say I'm so happy with Kate's work. The first two places couldn't get it right, but Kate's work was impeccable, quick and she made sure to sanitize my lashes prior to my appt which surprisingly is not the standard for most. I love how fluffy and full my lashes are and they've held up way better than the last few places. I'll definitely be back to Look at Me.
Start to finish Elena was so kind and gentle and my lashes are PERFECT. I've been coming for over a year to this salon and every time is great. All the techs are professional and kind. Always coming back!!!
