I highly recommend Dr. Steven Lee and his team at Dr. Lee Orthodontics. I first took my oldest to see Dr. Lee when he was just starting his practice in Pacific Palisades, and I was immediately impressed by how gentle and unintimidating he was with my very shy 7-year-old. Even more importantly, he advised us to hold off on treatment until the timing was right, despite knowing she would eventually need an expander. We came in once a year—at no charge—until he felt she was truly ready to begin.
Even after the expander phase, he was patient about moving forward with braces, waiting until it was appropriate rather than rushing the process. His thoughtful, measured approach was such a refreshing contrast to my own orthodontic experiences. When the time came, I brought my youngest to him as well and was just as impressed. I ultimately switched to his office for my own retainer care because I genuinely appreciated both him and his wonderful staff

I was gifted a session to see Christina which could not have come at a better time because I had overexercised my body and was beyond tight in quite a few of the usual suspect areas. I don’t know how she does it but she managed to hone in and work on EXACTLY all of them. She also has a serenity about her that I felt was passed on to me. We also spoke about nutrition and she gave me a few amazing suggestions. This massage therapy session was unlike anything I have experienced before. Christina is dedicated to her practice and absolutely knows her stuff.

Will Rogers State Historic Park is a real trailblazer of an LA park — pun intended. I used to come here often before the Palisades fire, whether for hiking, biking, or watching the polo games. Going back for the first time after the fire was emotional, but also genuinely uplifting.
Yes, it’s sad to see parts of Will Rogers’ ranch gone, but the park still has its soul — and those incredible 360° views are still there: ocean, Beverly Hills, downtown LA, and the Santa Monica Mountains all around you. Nature is slowly taking back its rights, and it’s worth witnessing.
A special mention to the park staff, who are among the friendliest I’ve met in any park. Please go back, visit, hike, support them, and help keep this beautiful place alive.

They're back in the Palisades!! Not only is Dr. Wormer's office a magical place, but getting my teeth cleaned post-tragedy was such a deep breath of normalcy. I'm so grateful to them for holding the torch for the community and being there for us. Cannot love them more.

Gerry Blanck's Martial Arts School is one of the best dojos and best martial arts academy not only in Pacific Palisades but in Los Angeles as well. I've been a student at this dojo and I've seen first hand how Gerry and his professional instructors such as Sensei Liam, Jake, Art, Mark, etc. train students to be disciplined and well versed in the martial arts school of Yoshikai. They instill values of striving for excellence, respect, faith, perseverance, and refraining from violent behavior.They have classes six days a week which include karate classes for children or kids as young as 3 yrs old (they are so cute to watch!) to karate for senior adults (who are inspirational!). Aside from karate, they offer self defense, weapons and kickboxing which I enjoy because it's good for my cardio and stamina. Their students also have gotten various trophies in competitions in California and other states. Only the best training here, indeed!This dojo has been in Pacific Palisades for over four decades. It's a pillar of the community due to Gerry's expertise, patience, and care for all his students. I took Dr Park for granted. Now that I live out of state I realize what an amazing dentist he is. I miss his no bs approach and excellent work. I may have to fly back twice a year bc they don’t have dentists like him elsewhere.
Dr. Chase is extremely knowledgeable and talented. She listens closely and offers thoughtful suggestions to ensure that each patient gets precisely what they need. Her staff are terrific… genuinely kind and caring.
Just finished a remodel of a bathroom and laundry room. Everything turned out great, Richard was very helpful throughout the whole process. It took a bit longer because of covid restrictions affecting supplies and different tradesmen, but that was to be expected. Thank you Richard, Felix and the other people involved with working on our house!

The five-man crew arrived on time as scheduled. They worked together efficiently and did a very thorough job. They were friendly and respectful of the property. They left the areas clean and free of leaves and trimmed debris. I would use Johnson Tree Co. again in the future.

What a hidden gem… my girlfriend and I stopped in on our way to the Santa Monica Farmer’s Market and Laria greeted us right away and was so fun to talk to. Their setup is beautiful in a concise space. And check out these turf animals. ? so fun. Absolutely worth making a destination if you’re looking to explore plant shops/garden centers around LA. I haven’t seen the other locations yet since we are new to CA, but I would imagine they’re even larger and executed equally well. 11/10 would recommend.
We had a link under our kitchen sink. The entire kitchen had been recently replaced after the Palisades wildfire. It turns out the problem was a pipe that barely connected with another pipe so they couldn't be tightened sufficiently. Our Palisades plumber fashioned a nice extension that solved the problem cleverly and completely. It was a great piece of adaptation in a very tight space.
I am completely in LOVE with everyone who works at Michelle International located at 1106 Montana Avenue in Santa Monica. Their new location is beautiful! The people who work there are the best and completely caring and do such a great job. I had my hair colored and trimmed there recently. I already can't wait to go back.They are family to me.My home burned down in the horrific Pacific Palisades fire . I have known these people who work at the salon for many years. They had their Pacific Palisades location for decades until it burned down. I am so happy I can see them all again.I highly recommend that you go to this wonderful salon! You won't be disappointed.
Jerry and his team at Palisades Screen & Glass replaced the cracked glass in a retail display case. Although the incorrect glass was used initially, they owned up to the error, and replaced the glass at no additional charge. I respect that kind integrity in this day and age. I recommend them, and will certainly use them again.

Had a main panel and area around it completely destroyed by the Palisades fire. Palisades Electric completely took care of it for very reasonable prices. Honestly the job was a complete headache with permits and I was really glad to have them do it. Don’t hesitate to give them your business.
Scenic triangular mini park with memorial plaques, benches and plant life. A great place to stop for a rest or take in a slice of the Pacific Palisades. Directly across from the Palisades Village mall running alongside Sunset Blvd. There is also a tinier patch just at the light for Monument Street and La Cruz Drive that can also be seen as part of this scenic part of the Palisades Village Green. It's shaded in most parts, easy to walk and very accessible. We enjoyed walking through and by and noting the dedications and memorial signs throughout. Local street parking limited (meter only) but available as well as parking at the Village.
This place has everything and is the best!! Everyone who works there is so helpful and nice. I definitely recommend coming here for all your beauty supply needs!

Dr Darsa was amazing! and as a cancer survivor this was the best space for me to heal. i loved the program and stayed longer than i originally planned - it was intense but so worth it. the variety of group sessions on top of individual sessions were so helpful! the groups were very eye opening covered a range of topics from self discovery with art or creative writing to groups led by trauma informed doctors. groups were remote which made access to them easier but i also appreciated the in person individual sessions and in person group picnics or other meet-ups monthly. using DBT and focusing on somatic and holistic healing allowed me to learn so many great tools i still use (and were far above what i’ve seen before i joined Reconnect). Thank you to Dr Darsa and the whole reconnect team!
