“I came to Dr. Marina seeking relief from chronic headaches that I've been dealing with for the past 20 years. I've seen many different Dr.'s and tried many different treatments (western and alternative medicine) over the years, but, the headaches have persisted.I sought out Dr. Marina for acupuncture and have since also benefited from her expertise as an herbalist; incorporating specific supplements into my daily regimen. I've had cupping treatments in conjunction with the acupuncture and have also been utilizing the hyperbaric oxygen chamber which has proved to be very beneficial.For many years headaches have been a daily occurrence and in a typical week I'd have 3-4 days where they would spike to migraine level and I'd need to use my medication.I started seeing Dr. Marina about 9 weeks ago. “I have been going to Massage Garden for 5 years now on a regular basis. They offer great prices and great massages. I've never had a negative experience. I can't explain the negative reviews, which seem to come from mean-spirited finicky people. That being said it's important that you, the customer, knows what you want. The masseuses don't always speak English, so use sign language. And remember to tip well. Minimum $15 as a tip for a one hour massage. I always tip more than that, but that's because I've had the same masseuse for 5 years now.“

“I was in bad shape last night(1/22/24). I hurt my neck-that's a long story-but the right side of my neck from the right scapula up the neck into my skull was frozen, locked and very painful. It was very dangerous driving because I couldn't turn my head in either direction. I almost never will get a massage, spend money on these sorts of things, but it was either that or go to St Johns ER and wait 5 hours for a steroid shot and muscle relaxants. I googled massage in Santa Monica and found JWYK. I called her and told her my situation. It was last minute and early evening but she took me in. I only wanted to pay a certain amount so we agreed to 30 minutes and just focused on the multiple muscle spasms and the lock. She went above and beyond, she did at least 40 to 45 minutes. It was painful at the end and painful when I got home. But it was a different kind of pain. Kind of like a soreness. She advised heat and cold when I got home, which I did. Woke up this morning and right side completely unlocked, spasms gone, can turn my head in both directions and 90% of the pain gone. She is an EXCELLENT massage therapist in that in my mind she accomplished the impossible.“
