“Highly recommended, professional Apple service that is a lot more flexible and accommodating than the Official Apple Stores.
I have a Macbook Pro that was missing a single key, I took it to the Apple Store on 3rd street Promenade first. Because the mounting tabs were damaged they told me it needed the entire keyboard replaced with the entire top case (apparently it comes as a whole assembly). Apple Store wanted me to leave my laptop there for 5-7 business days (!!!). When I questioned why, they said they're very busy, so I asked if I can just bring in the laptop when it's my turn and leave it for only one day, they said that's not possible as they don't work that way. Well, as my primary and only work computer I cannot be without it for that long, but they didn't care (btw I have AppleCare+, but it didn't make a difference).
Long story short, I took the laptop to Mac911 and they told me they'd order the replacement part and I could just bring in the laptop for one day to get the work done once the part arrives. Sure enough, I dropped it off Saturday morning and by closing time it was ready for me.
What the Apple Store wasn't willing to do they did it without any hassle.
