Harvey was on it!!! Also added macaroons. I was soo happy. I couldn't wait to get my brownie points from the in-law's. What happened next crushed me to the core. The delivery person took it to the wrong address a neighbors apt.

Im a person who appreciates a person speaking truthfully to me so when he was honest and set my expectations on when I would get them (unfortunately the next day) it gave me an opportunity to pivot.
The flowers were delivered early the next day the delivery guy was so great and made sure to hand them directly to us. We didn't get the macaroons but the way her eyes lit up when I handed these to her and how she cried and said no one in all her years have given her something so beautiful.
Pink Clover will be my go to for flowers going foward. So many companies drop the ball and shrug their shoulders. Pink Clover picked that ball up went into overtime and scored that winning point.

Good old fashioned salon! No 100 dollar gel x with crazy designs, but they take good care of you. I paid 87 for gel manicure with chrome, pedicure and eyebrow wax before tip which is a good price these days lol. I had May and she was really sweet and funny! I appreciated that they were friendly.

Best of the best! All their nail techs are super talented, but Amy stands out. I’ve been going to her for years, and she is consistent and does better work than anyone else I’ve tried in the area. She’s also super sweet and personable. I usually get GelX and it lasts for over a month! Kathy, the owner, is hilarious and great. I’m grateful that they’re usually able to squeeze me in last minute, but I do recommend making an appointment. Only complaint is sometimes they’re running behind even with an appointment and I’ve had to wait up to 30 mins, but it’s worth the wait!

100/10 - Booked a facial with Yvonne today and received the best facial I’ve ever had. I love treating myself to a facial when I can travel and having had many facials at luxury spas… this was by far the best one I’ve ever received. Yvonne was so genuine and really set the tone and comfort level with her kindness. She was easy to talk too and you could feel how much she cared. I love my laser hair removal now I don’t have ingrown and the hair is barely there I had a lot of hair so this has changed my life now I’m in way more confident in a bikini. Natalia is a wonderful trainer! She is very thorough with intake and customizes and adapts a workout program based on your ability and goals — makes constant iterations based on her observations of form, energy, development and so on. She’s not just there to call out exercises and reps. She cares about creating an environment that makes working out feel like a habit vs a chore and is compassionate. Don’t be fooled though - she is tough but that’s why she’s the best!

I have been doing Pilates for several years. Since I moved to my new place six months ago, I have been going to Turning Point Pilates. Robin is the best instructor I ever had, super detail oriented and taking the time to help me. I have a herniated disc on my neck but since I started doing pilates there I barely remember about it, my life improved significantly since I joined this studio.
My biggest regret moving from Venice was giving up working out with Bevin at Studio U. This studio is incredible, the perfect size, clean, welcoming, and it's owner, Bevin, is competent, badass, kind and overall just good people. She made an existing passion of mine, boxing, even more fun and challenging in the right way. I did both group classes and 1-1 sessions and it never disappointed. Even group classes that can sometimes be bleak at other spots were fun and engaging, partially because Bevin builds a community. I never tried the Pilates section, but I only hear great things about it. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for a stellar local workout spot with wonderful people to brighten up your existence.

Its refreshing to have a present, inquisitive and capable practitioner. She has healed a difficult ankle tendon issue; acne; restimulated nail growth where it had all but stopped for 2 years; treated anxiety, and surely a few other things Im not recalling. Well worth it.
