I just had to tell everyone how absolutely fantastic this salon is! My stylist, Mia was amazing. She worked magic on my hair. I have never been so happy with my hair, it was totally hideous when I contact her. She listened to what I wanted and absolutely nailed it! She is the best!!! And while I was there I observed the other stylist, I think her name is Sierra. The ladies hair she worked on while I was there turned out so beautiful. I really just can't say enough about this wonderful salon. You have to try it! You won't be disappointed!!! 5 stars is not enough. So I wanted to update my review. It's been a couple of weeks since my visit and I have had so many wonderful comments on my hair. I am totally impressed with the quality care they give their clients. There is not enough praise in the world for Gina. I've been looking for a hair artist like her my whole life. This was my first session with Gina and she already transformed my hair! I came in with damaged hair, an inch of gray roots, a couple inches of ugly orange below the gray, and multiple colors below that. I needed a full color correction but was terrified of more chemicals since my hair was in such bad condition and I had recently lost a bunch of it. She picked a color for my roots that covered the gray and took away the ugly orange. She blended it into the rest of my hair and it looks amazing! She did a K18 treatment and a clear Glaze that left my hair so much healthier!! She also came up with a long term plan to get my hair healthy and the color where I really want it. I thought I would have to suffer with ugly color for a while, but no!! I recommend Gina to everyone. She is a hair scientist and an artist! She knows the chemistry of products and colors and how they react on all different hair types. The before picture doesn't have my inch of gray roots so what she had to work with was even worse!

You know when your barber finishes up and asks, “what you think?” and you feel required to say, “yeah it’s good” no matter what you actually think? Well here you’re not going to hesitate to say “I love it” when they finish cutting you up. By far one of the best experiences I’ve had. The service was amazing: offered me coffee, water, hot towels, nose mask, and even did my eyebrows all inclusive. You can tell there is nothing but love and authenticity here. If you’re looking for a new barber or a place to make you feel more confident the second you step out, you gotta come here.

Bernie is a great Barber , he will dial you in how ever you want your haircut to look. He has an eye for details and won’t leave you looking bad! The shop is good environment usually sports or music playing. I’d go with Bernie for any haircut needs.

Melissa is incredible! I admired her work with the trans and crossdressing communities, so I thought it would be great to support her business and give her makeup services a try. I grew up learning how to do my makeup from YouTube tutorials and have kept up with trending beauty products; I felt pretty confident going into my appointment but, man, did I have so much to learn still. Melissa is incredibly meticulous in her makeup application and overall cleanliness, making sure to never contaminate her products and working with a very gentle touch. I was sooo relaxed the whole time she was working on me, I could have fallen asleep! Even though I have a different shade and bone structure of her usual clientele (I am a cis Black woman), she shade matched me perfectly and did amazing prep to make sure my makeup stayed on all day despite my oily skin. I have NEVER seen my face look as close as it did to the time of application after nearly 12 hours of wear as I did when Melissa did my makeup! I have since started changing my application techniques to mimic Melissa's with my everyday products and, WOW, what a game changer. I can't wait to see Melissa again and learn more from her!

I lost a patch of eyelashes and there was a bald area on my eyebrows. my eyebrows were very thin. I used another brand of eyelash serum to try to get my eyelashes to grow back. Nothing and after 4 months of using it I decided to try lash affair. Wow after just 2 weeks my eyebrows have not only grown back but are thicker, AND my eyelashes have grown longer and thicker. I am pretty sure my bald patch on my lashes has the tiniest lash growth. I am very impressed. I wish I'd taken photos. definitely does what it says.

To honor the 10th anniversary of my Mom’s death, I got my first tattoo. While this couldn’t have been a terribly exciting or creative tattoo for the staff, you wouldn’t have known it. The entire staff are respectful and worked to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. My Mom’s handwriting was small but Dante is meticulous. His fine line skills are top quality. The shop is inviting and the staff fun yet professional.

Today I took both my daughters (ages 4 and 10) to get their ears pierced at Next Level Tattoo. Manuel Flowers the owner welcomed us in and was very informative during the entire process. Manuel was patient with my daughters and explained the entire process to them. The piercings were painless and extremely fast! My daughters were so happy with the results! I would highly recommend Manuel if you are looking for someone for piercings.
I am 60yo, and this was my first tattoo, so naturally I was very cautious about getting a meaningful design, staying true to the concept, and having the best quality that will stand the test of time. From our first communication, I had great confidence in Sebastian. He obviously knows his craft, but most importantly, he tattoos for the love of the art, and was able to explain what it means to him. He went through a series of questions about the detail before we started, and I knew from the questions he asked that he was a perfectionist. The process was fantastic, and he maintained my confidence throughout - I never had any doubt. The result is nothing less than spectacular - the detail and color are magnificently faithful to the original design. I am happier with the result than I could possibly have imagined. It really is quite perfect. If you want an artist who loves what he does, does it for that love of the art and not for the money, and rightfully takes great pride in his work, I recommend Black Sail and Sebastian 1000%.

I unfortunately can't remember the name of the gentleman that helped me out but he was so amazing. I was at the cemetery visiting my grandfathers headstone and I didn't have any thing to clean the headstone with and the nice gentleman let me use a brush of his while he was there cleaning his father in laws headstone. While I was cleaning the stone I was obviously very upset and crying ans he came over to offer some help cleaning the stone and even offered to clean it when he comes to clean his father in laws stone. Such an amazing act of service and kindness.
I'm so impressed with the work! I had Precision Garage Works drywall, paint, refinish floor, add cabinetry, add a laser parking guide, and replace 2 garage doors. It was all done extremely well with great communication. It's hard to find someone to do a whole garage remodel, but they were great!
I had Arizona Home Floors remove my pool deck and painted patio and remove tile from my front steps. I decided to use them versus a pool contractor because they were dustless and pool contractors said there was going to be a lot of dust in the air which could blow into neighbors yards.
My lead technician Rogelio and his crew showed up on time and did an outstanding job. Really, there was no dust! All the pool deck texture, paint and tile were removed down to the bare concrete. We encountered 1 small hiccup which was promptly addressed and satisfactory resolved. I would definitely use them again.

Home Makeover Creations in Tempe was really amazing for my home remodel. We remodeled our kitchen and our bathrooms and did new flooring throughout. The previous homeowner was a DIYer, so Home Makeover made sure that our house was up to code and safe to live in. I’m so grateful that they really have extra care in the way that they executed their work because they saved me so much money in future repairs from something that I would have overlooked and had to pay for it later on. I also like that this company is really family friendly and dog friendly. They were so sweet with my son helping him contribute to the project. They also made sure to be incredibly extra cautious with our dogs. I just feel like they took care of our house but also was very considerate of my family as well

We had an overall positive experience with McCurdy Construction on the remodel of our master bathroom. In our opinion, the quality of the workmanship and materials was top notch. The design phase with Kaitlyn was clear, pleasant, and insightful. The team that worked on our project - Anthony, Zach, Eric, and all of the others - were polite, professional, experienced and knowledgeable. We felt like they were up-front with us when issues came up and give us a clear picture of our options. They were respectful of our home, taking the time to protect the areas that they were working in. We have been very pleased with the final outcome.
Our only critiques are that communication was challenging at the beginning of the project, as we were promised an initial bid within two weeks' time. That didn't happen, and it was difficult to establish regular, reliable communication. It was also estimated when the construction phase on our project began in early January that it would be completed by the end of February, perhaps spilling into March a bit. There were long stretches were no work or minimal work occurred, and the project was completed in May. This was longer than we were anticipating and created some challenges for our family.
Overall, we were happy with the outcome and would use them again when the need or situation arises.
**2025 update: they just completed a renovation on a second full bathroom in our home. Went very smooth - they were timely, reliable, communicative and thorough. Even more so than the first bathroom. We're very happy with the outcome, and with McCurdy overall!

Bobby from K&R came out to my house to give me a free inspection and advice for a bed bug problem I thought I had. I spoke with him for 10-15 minutes to go over different options for treating the problem and then showed him a picture I took of the insect. Turns out I should have started with the picture. He confirmed that the insect was actually a spider and not a bed bug like I thought. He gave me some solid advice on how to treat the problem myself and didn't charge me anything. Work ethic like this is a rare treat these days. I was impressed by his knowledge and honesty and will keep him in mind for any future issues I have with pests. I would also recommend him to anyone looking for an honest assessment of their problem. The other local pest control companies I called all wanted to charge me for an inspection and were quick to quote out an expensive solution that would have ended up being overkill for my spider problem.

I was stung by a scorpion while I was asleep in my bed, which was pretty traumatizing, lol, and it completely changed how I felt about being in my own home. When I told my previous pest control company what happened, I was basically told this was normal for desert life and to continue business as usual, with some extra spraying near my doors, which gave me no peace of mind at all. That experience pushed me to do my own research, which is how I found Seal Out Scorpions. Georgia was the first person I spoke with and she immediately stood out. She is extremely knowledgeable about scorpion biology and took the time to explain everything to me in a way I could actually understand, including the science behind scorpion behavior and how they get into homes, which helped me feel more informed and in control. When it came time to finish the backyard of our newly constructed home, we began our search by attending multiple Home Shows. The choices we faced were many. Do we go with a one-stop shop pool company, a special general pool contractor that would coordinate all the work or look to hire a Landscaper and separate pool company? We decided to go with the latter choice.
We met Sarah Alton from Desert Designers at one of the shows and kept her card until we were ready. Our initial conversation with Sarah convinced us she wanted to give us the yard we wanted because she listened to what we wanted. She got excited when hearing our plan and put her creativity to work putting together an initial design. The first rendering wasn’t quite what we were looking for but we knew we were working with the right person and company. Sarah’s second rendering came back with all the elements we were looking for (a non-rectangular pool shape that we love, a bocci court and an antique Los Angeles Gas Street lamp that had belonged to my father). Additionally, there were other elements we couldn’t dream of because we didn’t know what was possible given our tight budget. Sarah showed us her designs and listened to our feedback and came back with redesigns that showed she listened to what we wanted. The final price landed on our budget number and Desert Designers was more than fair with some of the changes we made during construction. There was never an attempt to upsell us or talk us into anything other than what we wanted, which we greatly appreciated.
This was the first time we ever did a full backyard build. Our inexperience created some issues around some of the work that would need to be done by us. Working with two different companies basically made us the General Contractor on more matters than we assumed. There was miscommunication around some of the things we would be responsible for, like moving all the rock in the backyard for the pool company. Any time you hire someone to do work on your house there is bound to be some quality issues. But the things we wanted fixed were fixed and some tweaks we made were done. A couple of plants were replaced under the initial warranty period and we are watching others closely.
We wish we had a better understanding about who was responsible for some of the additional costs we incurred, like moving the rock from the backyard. This coordination between the two companies was the most time-consuming and frustrating part of the process which we now know is the nature of the business. This is not a reflection on either company, but of the nature of the project, now that we are aware we’ll know what to do next time but in all likelihood this is our last new backyard project.
We are now enjoying seeing our vision in living color and are looking forward to many years of enjoying Sarah's vision and the crew's hard work.

I apparently forgot to post this, so I wanted to do all the visits that I did after the first crown above. I was so fortunate to have a dentist by the name of Vanessa.Guerrero, she did not catch me in the best mood when I first met her for doing my crowns. She had such a phenomenal way of working so confidently and steady, speaking with me, And helping me calm down. I normally have some type of sedation for dental work, but with her work, I did not need any and I was shocked.
Fast forward I just received my permanent crowns, I had lost both temporary, so I was not in a good mood. Again, she came in and worked so professionally and so well with the technician that it calmed me down immediately. I cannot say enough good about how professional she is and how lucky I was to get her. I don’t know exactly where she’s going back to her practice when she’s done here at New Horizon’s, but her patients are going to be extremely satisfied and blessed
They do a great job giving you the answers that you need when your body is not right. First place I’ve been to in Arizona that could answer the issues I’ve been dealing with. Doctors are great and very informative!

Dr Figa and his staff are absolutely amazing. I went in due to numbing in my arms and issues with my neck and he and his staff have helped tremendously with getting the feeling back. Harlan, works magic putting your body back together after you tweak it too much. Its like magic but works usually after just several visits. Have been going to Harlan on and off for several years when I put my back or neck out of alignment from doing too much of something. Will never go to a traditional chiropractor ever again. This is easy and painless visits that work rapidly to get you back into alignment and alleviate your pain. Have referred several other people to Harlan who have received similar results. Definitely worth an investment of time and some money to solve what has been bothering you. Good luck!!
I got into an accident a while back and went to Four Peaks with Dr. Carlyon and am glad I did. I was experiencing pretty bad neck and back pain and after a few sessions I felt major relief. David is very professional and good at what he does. He listens to you and does his best to treat you in an effective way. I feel amazing after seeing him and am glad I did. Would definitely recommend this practice and am so grateful for Dr. Carlyons help!
Dr Bobbie is the best chiropractor out there and I’ve been to a few. She really takes the time to listen and explain things. You can trust what she recommends! I saw her initially for a breech baby and after one adjustment at 32 weeks my baby flipped! I continue to see her because she’s amazing and I will definitely take my kids/babies here!

I have been bringing my rescue boy to Southpoint Animal Clinic for at least four years now. I can’t tell you how much comfort it gives me to know that he is in the best of hands and given the best care! The Staff is wonderful, Dr Patty is not only very knowledgeable, she is also the most caring person to the pets and the humans they call family. Dr Patty you and your staff are the Best! This is the best vet I've ever had. Dr Wells has been a vet in Tempe since the 80s. He's a great Vet and a good man. I will always bring my pets here. Update: 5 years later I still fell the same. Prices are high everywhere, his cost for an office visit is more reasonable.
I love Dr Edwards she seems to really care about my pets and tries to make sure she can solve any issue without charging you an arm and a leg. I recommend her to all my friends who have pets! She's also a vet who actually seems to like cats. If you have cats you may understand that not all of that seem to like cats or want to work with them or want to work with them. But she doesn't seem to have this issue. Honestly, all the staff can't seem to get enough of my cat even though they have their own cats roaming around the office! ❣️
Tempe Lake provided a headache-free experience through and through. From making the appointment, checking in, initial examination and follow up Tempe lake's staff were professional, clear and kind. Even our cat (Naia), who is usually extra stressed at and after vet visits, was quick to warm up to them and return to her usual antics when we got home after the exam and treatment!
Comparing with other clinics, even their treatment plans and pricing were meaningfully less difficult and expensive. As our kitty is getting older, we expect her needs will be growing in time, but we are less concerned with being able to afford to get her the care she needs thanks to Tempe Lake.
Caring, compassionate, Dr. Bebaway & the staff are exceptional! I've been taking my furbabies there for years, & would not dream of going anywhere else!

All of the employees here are so sweet and kind. I have one senior rescue dog, and one rescue that is still terrified of everything. I get their nails done here regularly and no matter who we get assigned to as walk-in appointments, they are well taken care of. Highly highly recommend!
We have used this groomer for our dog for years. They do a great job and are super at handling our hair dryer shy dog.
I’ve tried a few yoga spots in the past, but this place feels like home! It’s welcoming, well decorated, CLEAN, and super relaxing. All levels truly felt welcome whether you need help trying something new to advance, or if you’re a newbie that needs to take a break during side plants (me!!). I’ve even recommended this to my coworkers who have gone with me and they’ve only left feeling better and more relaxed. I love going to see Kami because she is so personable and really knows what she’s doing. She provides extra help when needed and is the most amazing yoga teacher I’ve experienced to date - she’s quickly become like family! I hold Arizona Yoga Co. and Kami with such high admiration all the time, unless I hear the forbidden words, “and let’s sink one inch deeper”… love this place!

Over the past month, I have explored all of the studios in my area via ClassPass. While there are so many amazing ones, this studio takes the cake. Every single class has been so heart opening and special. I have gained so much just from the three classes I have taken here. The culture and community here is unbelievable- every single employee and student is so friendly and welcoming! This is not a pretentious, fitness yoga studio, this is a spiritually, emotionally, and physically challenging space where everyone (regardless of where they are in their journey) is welcome. The vibes are ✨ E M A C U L A T E ✨.Jason’s Long Slow Deep class is definitely not beginner friendly, and that was my first yoga class in a year, so it was DEFINITELY an initiation. Besides feeling sick, because it’s a heated class and I did not realize it was a heated class, I felt amazing. His motivational pep talks and guided prompts brought me into a deeper practice than I ever thought I could. He also made me feel comfortable RESTING when it was too much for me.The new girl (I forget her name, so sorry!!) that teaches the Wednesday night Slow Flow class is a heart-led teacher and incredibly sweet. She is very hands on with her corrections (with consent and she rubs her hands to alert the person she’s about to go hands on), which I really appreciate. She is also a Trigger Point practitioner, so she really knows how to help you deepen in your asanas. Her commentary was also very insightful. You can tell she lives and breathes what she talks about!Deb’s Yin Flow class was so gentle. She created a safe atmosphere, reminding us that we are safe in our bodies, and that there was no judgement for any emotions that needed to be released. I loved that she reminded us of this several times during the hip opening stretches (the hips hold a lot of emotions and trauma for many people).This is my favorite studio. If you’re on the fence, try a class out. You won’t regret it. ❤️
Amazing breath work, a good balance of stretches, balance poses and long holds. Juli provided guided breathing with each pose and a bit of meditation at the beginning and at the end of the class. I felt that this class was good for strengthening and toning muscles, there was slow transition between poses but the long holds did provide adequate challenge for my body. Also loved the soothing and meditative music. The view was nice, facing the fountain, you can see the tortoises jump in and out of the the pond. Left there feeling very relaxed and energized for the day. Thanks for an amazing class.
At 75, I was having noticeable problems with balance and mobility. I knew if I didn't address them, they'd only get worse, so I tried Pilates Tempe.
The improvements have been significant. My balance is noticeably better, and I move with more confidence in everyday activities.
Alex, my instructor, has been excellent and I feel fortunate —she's patient, knowledgeable, and good at adjusting exercises to my abilities while still challenging me appropriately.
If you're dealing with similar issues and wondering whether it's worth the investment, I can tell you it absolutely is.
I’m visiting Tempe for a few days and wanted to keep up with my Pilates workout so I booked a Control and Balance class here. Let me start by saying it was wonderful! The entire place was spotless, including the bathroom (which was bright and spacious, and offered lotion as well). The teacher, Hailey, was excellent! Her instructions were very clear and offered a variety of different levels of exertion.
I loved every minute of it!
Caylee IS AMAZING! She explained everything she was doing and was super patient. I entered the studio feeling pain at a level 10 and I left feeling an 8. That was way better than I thought. Today I am able to bend over a little better and stand tall for longer periods thanks to her. I am definitely going to become a periodic customer.

I just went to The River Massage in Tempe. Ananda was my masseuse.
I cried tears of joy three times, professed my undying love multiple times, and feel absolutely lighter and more grounded in my body. I didn’t realize how locked up my WHOLE body was! She knew EXACTY how to deal with my hypermobile body and I’m over the moon with how much better I feel.
Do yourself a favor and GO SEE HER. Your body will thank you.

texted to make an appoint, quick and easy communication. went to my appointment, place is clean and smells good, the room i was in was setup nice the table was comfortable. Ada was personable and knew a lot about what ails a person and how to remedy that. Was consistent with the pressure, checked on me enough times to make sure i was comfortable but not too much to be annoying. I nodded off a couple of times during the 90 minute massage. When she was finished I actually felt better than when I showed up, i think i walked out standing up straighter than when i came in. If I had to give a suggestion for improvement, i guess it would be this, instead of only using the door curtains/drapes, in addition close the door during session. Great work Ada! thank you, and I will be making another appointment. If you are looking for a good place to go for professional bodywork, don't overlook Phoenix Earth Massage, with Ada, you won't be disappointed.
Mikki is a one woman show and books out fast, that's part of how you know she's good. She doesn't upsell you and makes you feel good about your skin just as you are and just makes your feel more beautiful with her dermaplaning and facial services. Love that she offers subscription services. I go once a month with my subscription and she will just do whatever your skin needs under the subscription plan. She really just cares about making you and your skin feel good.

I’ve tried everything.. and I mean EVERYTHING after living with chronic pain for over ten years, it being significantly worse in the past two. After a few sessions with Sam my energy levels have increased, my pain is improving and now manageable, and I’m working out like I haven’t in nearly 15 years. Still more work to go, but after session four I’m already seeing such an increase in my quality of life and seeing a side of myself that hasn’t been able to shine in so long.
I have been here two times to get a massage. It is AMAZING. She really works out the kinks from everyday stress. I highly recommend going here to anyone. I can't wait for my next massage.

I’m usually weary about random massage places, but considering I couldn’t find much near me with high reviews, I decided to give this place a try and let me tell you it did not disappoint. I’ve had multiple massages within the past couple years and I’m always left feeling relaxed, but this time was different. I felt an insane level of peace and natural high that I’ve never felt before!! Coco massaged muscles I wasn’t even aware I had and just gave her best effort and did awesome. A lot of massage places are overpriced, but this place is very reasonable priced and you get amazing attention. Another thing to note, almost all of my past massages have been cut around 5 minutes short, I’m assuming out of laziness, but I got the entire hour I paid for here! Lol. maybe even a couple longer. George introduced Tuning Fork Therapy to me and I'm so glad he did! After my first treatment, I noticed things came easier for me, I could feel the blockages removed. I felt amazing! I LOVE THIS PLACE! Due to medical issues I lost my ability to walk and I have recovered so fast with their help that in only a couple of months I am back to being able to walk a good amount. The staff here are so sweet and caring, they are so supportive and even push you a little past your limits to where there is growth but your not overworking yourself.
I came to Next Level for a running assessment and was very pleased with the services received. My physical therapist, Devi, was the best! She helped me identify issues in my running form, proposed attainable goals, and developed a workout plan for me that was easy to implement. I always wanted to try acupuncture in hopes it will help with my menstrual cramps and back pains. I found Pamela and I am so glad I did. She is very kind, she listens to your needs and wants and she has also recommended products that I could be interested in for my pains. Great thing is if you are into mediumship she also does that as well. I've always wanted to try that. I decided to schedule an appointment and have my sister come with me. It was definitely a great experience and any service you try, Pamela is the one to go to.
Jessica is honestly the best! She is the 5th acupuncturist I’ve tried here in the greater Phoenix area and she is by far the best. She has helped me so much. I am grateful to have found her.

Craig is warm, kind, and laid-back, but also highly knowledgeable and professional. He remains present with you throughout the entire treatment and listens thoroughly, taking the whole picture into account to recommend the best treatment options. He’s an expert on the therapy itself and master of his craft.
I initially visited Craig for back pain related to SI Joint dysfunction a few years ago and had great results after just one acupuncture treatment. Most recently, I saw Craig for an acute sciatica flare up that was excruciatingly painful, to the point that I could barely walk, stand, or even sit. He recommended acupuncture with cold laser for this. After one morning session, I noticed a significant decrease in pain and an increase in my overall level of mobility by the end of the day. Based on those results, I returned for a second session the following morning and have noticed even more progressive improvement since then. I am writing this about 10hrs post Session #2 and still have some residual twinges of pain and sore muscles in one leg, but the severe stabbing nerve pain has subsided. I am planning to continue 1-2x per week until the sciatica pain is entirely resolved and will make Hidden Rhythm my first stop for future musculoskeletal issues or any other issues acupuncture is known to help with. *Finally, as an ICU RN, I was initially skeptical about trying this, but Craig has a background in engineering and is able to speak to the science behind both acupuncture and laser. The results speak for themselves. If you’re still on the fence, give it a shot.
I’ve been going to Moon Spa for a couple years now. I have the monthly membership, which I’d recommend to anyone who gets at least one massage a month..totally worth it.Jason (JDD) is amazing. He has a lot of knowledge about the body and how to release tension and pain. I deal with chronic pain, migraines, upper back pain, and TMJ, and I always walk out feeling relief.
I even convinced my husband to start coming, and he says Coco is great too. Definitely recommend Moon Spa!

I had this one guy for drivers ed, David and he was single handedly the greatest road instructor. I couldn’t have asked for better. His vibe was so positive and was so chill. He’s one of the few incredible driver instructors out there. So hyped for my next lesson with him.
