“I had Arizona Home Floors remove my pool deck and painted patio and remove tile from my front steps. I decided to use them versus a pool contractor because they were dustless and pool contractors said there was going to be a lot of dust in the air which could blow into neighbors yards.
My lead technician Rogelio and his crew showed up on time and did an outstanding job. Really, there was no dust! All the pool deck texture, paint and tile were removed down to the bare concrete. We encountered 1 small hiccup which was promptly addressed and satisfactory resolved. I would definitely use them again.“

“Had a fabulous experience with Next Step Floors! My husband and I have been dreading removal of our carpets since we moved in because we have oddly-shaped rooms. We were referred to Next Step Floors by a friend who had used them several times in the past. It was a great experience!

First, Sabrina came over to measure the space, answer our questions, and recommend tile vs vinyl. We wanted to keep our existing tile, and redo our primary bedroom and sunken living room. We also considered doing our stairs and upstairs bedroom, but were unsure if we wanted to take on that large of a project. Sabrina provided three quotes via email and we made our selection, to do just the sunken living room and primary bedroom. The cost was in line with our online research and estimator tools.

Second, we went to the showroom in Tempe and met with Stephanie to pick out tile, grout, etc. We showed her a photo of our existing tile, and she said, “Oh I think we have that!” Sure enough, she brought three samples of our exact tile, and two contrasting shades (one lighter and one darker). We immediately decided to do a lighter contrast to brighten the space and provide a visual contrast for the sunken living room. This was a quick and easy process, and we left feeling relieved and excited.

Third, Bonnie reached out to talk logistics and schedule. We were able to get on the schedule within just a couple of weeks, as the tile needed to be ordered. We were quoted four days for the job: one for demo, two for laying tile, and one for final touches. Bonnie also provided timelines we’d need to stay off the tile for the grout to cure (one additional day). She also gave clear instructions on what to expect for the job (how workers would access the home, hours they’d be onsite, etc).

Fourth, the team arrived on time the day the work began and answered all of my husband’s questions and ensured we were on the same page for tile design. Shon also was onsite the first day, and was very helpful in providing an update (including photos) of a small hiccup they found as they demo’d the sunken living room. He was gracious enough to call my husband and myself separately so we could both have a firsthand understanding of the additional work needed due to a slope in our living room floor.

Fifth, we couldn’t have been happier with the quality of work provided by Salvador and his attention to detail and care of our home. He finished the project on time, despite the additional work needed, and delivered a beautiful final product. He also answered my husband’s questions about timing for cleaning, when to move furniture, etc.

My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our experience at Next Step Floors and look forward to returning in the future to do our stairs and upstairs bedroom.
