I didn't know this was a franchise from the Pacific Northwest, but it has that vibe inside. Parking is in the back, and overall I highly recommend this business because of the great staff and comfortable environment.“

“Going to a new salon can be an intimidating and fearful experience, especially when you have leftover trauma from bad experiences at a hair salon. A lot of that fear left as soon as I walked into Urban Bloom. Bright, plant filled, and sleek with photo opportunities at every turn Urban Bloom is just a beautiful place to be. I waited a couple of minutes for Olivia and she walked me over to her station where she took the time to listen to my hair concerns and worries. She was so kind to take the time to acknowledge my concerns and provide me with helpful advice.

One big thing she emphasized was the importance of washing my hair weekly. This was completely new to me as I have been told the opposite all my life. For the products to do their job they need moisture, and without water and nutrient it can't do anything! It makes sense why I have had no curl definition...the products are just sitting on top of my hair. So I know now moving forward that I need to wash once a week if not more, as well as use a mask and a conditioner that will strip my hair as well at least once a month.

My entire appointment and treatment were wonderful. I left with my curls hydrated and defined! I cannot wait to incorporate these new changes into my routine and really see my curls come back to life! I would say that this salon specializes in the longer 3 hair types versus my shorter four 4b/c, but I am glad that they were able to work with my hair and give me a great style and advice. “I just wanted to leave a review because today’s appointment was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had at Drybar in a long time.

Justin is hands down my favorite stylist. As someone with curly, textured hair, it can be really hard to find a stylist who truly understands my hair type, but Justin absolutely gets it. He understands products, technique, and what works best for my hair. I never feel like he’s intimidated by my hair or unsure of what to do. He is confident, knowledgeable, and incredibly talented.

What blows my mind is how efficient he is. Today he washed my hair so thoroughly, blow dried it super straight and smooth for a seamless extension application, flat ironed it, installed my extensions, and curled everything to perfection. And he did ALL of that in about an hour. That is honestly insane in the best way possible. I’ve had appointments with other stylists that took much longer and didn’t achieve the same results. Justin makes it look effortless because he’s just that good at what he does.

I’m also so proud of him for becoming a manager because he truly deserves it. While I’m a little sad that he’s harder to book now because of his management responsibilities, I completely understand why he was promoted. He’s incredibly talented, professional, and a great representation of the Drybar brand. I really hope he continues teaching and mentoring other stylists, especially when it comes to textured hair, because that knowledge is so valuable.

I also want to give a huge shoutout to Shalene who is the brand manager helping out with the salon temporarily. She was amazing today and honestly elevated the entire experience. She was so attentive, caring, and observant without me even having to ask for anything. She brought me water multiple times, helped brush out my extensions, organized my products, and even noticed I had an old Sephora bag holding everything. She kindly threw it away and gave me a fresh bag instead.

It’s little things like that that really make clients feel taken care of. Shalene goes above and beyond, and her customer service is next level. She was warm, thoughtful, proactive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure I had a great experience. I can absolutely see why she’s a Brand Manager.

Working with Justin and Shalene today felt like top-tier service from start to finish. Everyone was on it, everything ran smoothly, and I left feeling so happy with my hair and my overall experience. It was one of the best appointments I’ve had, and I hope their level of service and attention to detail continues to be shared throughout the salon because they are both incredible.“
