This was my first time using visiting angels for my mom following a recent medical issue and I didn't know where to turn at the last minute. Visiting Angels was kind, communicative and followed up which meant a lot to me because I was too fried and frazzled to follow up after the initial call. Sarah was willing to meet my mom in the hospital to discuss the services and give her all the information and then came with the caregiver herself. Anita on the first visit. My mom was very nervous having a stranger in the home but we had no choice because our family is scattered and we live in a rural area, And many contacts have been lost over the last few years due to people moving out of state. Visiting Angels exceeded my expectations with kind, professional and courteous service. I know Anita is in fact amazing because my mom does not openly trust many people to cook for her or help her bathe whatsoever. My mom had nothing but nice things to say about her. I immediately felt comfortable meeting her And leaving her with my mom. Plus the dinner she made for my mom was way better than what I could have done! She just made my mom feel at ease even when it came to Private matters that my mom is still needing help with during her recovery and need his kindness. Just overwhelms and makes you feel comfortable. I could have just had her stay forever when I came back. It's like I didn't want her to leave. She just felt like she was already a part of the family. Genuine love and concern and very attentive. Whoever gets to work with Sarah and coordinating any type of care even if you're overwhelmed, frazzled and at your Wit's end, She will be your calm in the storm and be patient. She won't over bother you yet she won't under bother you. She knows how to read the room even through the phone. Anyone who gets Anita is in for a treat and look at her bracelets. They're absolutely fun and stunning. I always heard that people can get attached to their caregivers and don't like it when they change or move on and I never really understood that until now.

Ya’ll I just had a 2.5hr triple body treatment that was SOOO relaxing!! I got a body scrub, body wrap and body massage from Kassie's Bodywork and it was amazing! I got every inch of my body scrubbed down and then hit with hot oil and massaged ?? my skin feels so silky smooth! and my husband said as soon as I got in the car I smelled amazing from whatever products she used lol plus the heated blanket under me was a nice touch, 10/10 highlyyyy recommend. Took my boys in for hair cuts done by Sean. He was great with them, ages 6&9. He was able to get down on their level and was very patient when my 6 yr old was apprehensive. They both loved how handsome they looked after.

I went in yesterday thinking it was the little old lady at Kings Barber. That’s been at this location for years and what I found was a new renovated first class barbershop with a great group of guys turning out amazing haircuts.
I sat down in the chair, was greeted by a very nice gentleman, and given the best haircut I’ve received in years at a very good price.
I have definitely found my new go to barbershop and will not go anywhere else. These guys are great and they care about their customers and will take very good care of you.
Big Dawg Barbershop is definitely one of the best spots in Tacoma for a haircut. The boys are always welcoming, laid back, and have great conversation. It’s the kind of place where you can actually relax, enjoy the whole experience, and know you are going to look good when you walk out. Scheduling is super easy, and they’re always willing to be flexible if I ever needed to adjust or fit something in.
I’ve been getting my hair cut by Josh for the past 2 years, and he’s been consistent every single time. The conversations are always real and easy, and he knows exactly how I like my cut. I would usually go with a low fade and take some length off the top, and he nailed it every visit. You can tell he really takes pride in his work and cares about his clients. I always looked forward to coming in and catching up with Josh and the boys.

I was in a crunch and couldn’t find anyone that had a spot open for a hair cut..went to Hasune’s… went in .. and asked if they did walk in’s the first dude said probably not tonight.. they were pretty busy …I think he was of Indian descent… but some kid in his 20’s came in out of no where and said he would get me in at 6:30pm…
It’s clean and chill environment. The guys are pretty funny. Shout out to the young Colombian dude that ? … pretty decent… they are young staff and will continue to get better and better. I feel like this place is a good investment if you care about your hair and like fresh cuts/fades.

Tommy and Kim used to do my nails for years, starting in the early 2000's. I moved away for 9 years and just returned to the area. After 2 disappointing nail jobs in the Lacey and Tacoma area, I suddenly remembered Tommy's. So much time passed but they remembered me as if no time passed at all. Tommy redeemed my struggling nails. I couldn't be more happy. I will make the 20 mile trek every two weeks. Beside my nails being gorgeous, they do not overcharge and they are good to their customers. Thanks Tommy & Kim for being so awesome.

TDLR: Carly was great esthetician but went too hard on the extractions. I ended up getting a broken capillary in my nose and minor scarring. I should have spoken up when the extractions were too intense.
I booked Carly for a 90 minute facial. On my end, I was 20 minutes late after mixing up the time. Carly still took me and we did a 60 minute facial for the price of the 90 minute facial. Thought this was gracious of her given I was running quite late due to the mix up.
Once I arrived, Carly was very kind and we jumped into the facial. Unfortunately, when we went to extractions she mentionned it may be uncomfortable but these extractions hurt! Since I usually dont do extractions, I thought this was normal and didn’t speak up. I should have! I ended up going back to my regular esthetician afterwards even though she is in Seattle and she shared that I had some minor scarring and a broken capillary from the last time she saw me (month prior). My skin is sensitive so this may not happen to everyone, but I would caution that if the extractions are feeling too painful to speak up or for Carly to be a bit more gentle.
I get my massages from Brandy, she is amazing. The kindest woman with some strong hands! Her massages always have great pressure, help me with my high tension areas. She hits the spots that I never knew connected to some discomfort i felt. I always feel wonderful and relaxed after.

First time having my lashes done. I started slow with a lift and tint and love the results! Annie is professional, has a soft touch and is very professional. I appreciated the automated scheduling reminders, clear texts outlining the address, building access and free parking. Clear instructions on how to take care of my lashes with a to go brush and conditioner to keep my lashes looking great. Annie answered all my questions about other options. I’ll be back for extensions the next time.
Honestly I do not trust anyone but Lou with my lashes at this point! I have see at least 4 other lash techs and they never last/itch so bad! Her salon/studio is above a hair salon that never is open/unlocked. Which makes sense being on the Main Street in Tacoma. Makes me feel safe knowing we are safe when my eyes are closed for an ~an hour and stuck on the lash table! She's literally the best!
First off, this place is so cute and comfortable. Secondly, I scheduled an eyelash extension appointment for the wrong date and Fitu came all the way to the studio (even though she was off) just to get me in. Her work is amazing and she puts so much time and effort into your lashes. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

We had 8 gals total get hair and make up. They brought a team of 4 and had a schedule to be sure we were all complete in time for photos. We sent them examples in advance that they followed perfectly. If you want to book with I.M Artistry just be sure to book early because they will fill up quick!

The best supplier in western Washington State, easy to find lots of parking, nobody rushes you, excellent advice and recommendations on equipment and supplies. You won't be disappointed. I shot and posted some of their first Google maps photos. I rarely post photos for businesses but this business really needed photos so people would understand the great variety of equipment and supplies they carry.

We were looking to get matching tattoos and we had a specific idea, so when we came across Jesse McConaha one of the artists at destiny city we really liked his style and the Neo traditional colors he does. We set up a consultation and after talking with him he was so nice and really made an effort to do the best tattoo with a lot of detail, asking questions about placement, size, colors and giving a very professional opinion about what would look best. We are absolutely thrilled with our tattoos! He has done an amazing job and is just so artistic with how he took our idea and made it this awesome, colorful and vibrant tattoo. It seriously looks flawless. His pricing is extremely reasonable as well, he was very considerate to check and make sure we were fine with the final price of both tattoos which I really appreciated ? all and all absolutely killer shop and my husband and I will definitely be back to see Jesse for future tattoos! As first time home buyers with our very first project, this was a big one! Howard and his crew were INCREDIBLE. They walked us through all the sewer and water main replacement options and provided an extremely competitive and fair quote. Howard has over 35 years of experience and it shows! He was knowledgeable, patient and completely transparent. He also has a great working relationship with the city and it's inspectors which is extremely important with these big projects. The work was done so quickly but with such care and attention to detail, I was astonished. Each member of the team was knowledgeable, courteous and very tidy. We had an extremely tricky water main replacement and I couldn't believe the problem solving and ingenuity that Howard and the guys brought to the project. I almost wish I had another sewer or water main to replace so we could hire them again! I would not hesitate. They are in demand but it was so worth it.

Ace Backflow Only goes above and beyond for their customers. Just recently, we had called a couple of landscaping companies for a sprinkler blowout for the winter. One landscaping company claimed that the backflow assembly was broken and was in need of repair and gave us a quote on the spot. Wanting a second opinion, we had another company also give us a quote, but we had made the mistake of telling them that the backflow assembly was previously diagnosed as broken. They didn't deny the break and gave us a bigger quote than the first one. Thinking something didn't sound right from either company, I reached out to Terry for a third opinion.
Terry checked the backflow and didn't find anything wrong with it. Literally saved us thousands of dollars. Ace Backflow Only showed integrity by their honest service and that's why I'm a loyal customer. They could have claimed the backflow assembly was broken and cashed in on an unnecessary repair, but they didn't. They have both my respect and my business.

I'm updating my review because, although what happened cannot be undone, the phone call that I received from Jesse was an attempt to make it right, and I appreciate his honesty and willingness to try to accommodate my needs. I didn't take him up on his offer because thats not what I was expecting and it just didn't feel right. I just value his honesty.I called this company on Jan 27 because I had lost electricity in half of my house. The soonest they could get me in was Feb 24. Since there were no other ones available I scheduled the appointment for 1130. Feb 24th arrives and noone shows up at 1130. I start thinking maybe I got the time wrong and it was supposed to be 130. So I wait. 130 comes and goes and still noone shows up. So I call their office. The person I talk to confirms all my information is in their system,, but tells me there was no appointment! Ive never been a customer so how did they get my information? She was apologetic and blamed it on "miscommunication" but it was an error on their part. She says she can get me on the schedule for Mar 5, which means another week. I know mistakes happen but don't try to make it seem like I misunderstood. You just failed to follow through.

Tim and John came out to do diagnose the problem and quickly identified the issues and explained what needs to be done in a way that I could understand and follow. I have worked with a lot of contractors over the years and I am very picky.Due to a water leak, we needed new wood woven into older oak flooring, one room completely refinished and color matched to the rest of the wood flooring which was buffed and recoated.The color matching was perfect. I had the pleasure of speaking to Debbie for the initial estimate which ended up being substantially less than other estimates I've received in the area. She was extremely helpful in answering the many questions that I had and rescheduling the appointment when needed. We had Dima and his crew come out to do the actual work. He was incredibly professional and worked blazingly fast while still providing quality work. I genuinely couldn't find a fault after all was said and done. His crew made a great effort to clean up all of the debris and dust as well. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the floors and the cost and would definitely consider Gary Johnson for any future work.

Through some mismanagement on my part, I failed to see a few issues on the other side of our fence that still needed attention, and Wilson came back out a few months later to address the issues promptly- which was a lot to ask of him and he did a very thorough job.

I initially called Anthony when I was looking for someone to look at my jetted tub. I had called about a dozen plumbers. None of them worked on jetted tubs but Anthony was the only one who stayed on the phone and tried to help. When I had a leaking pipe in my tight crawl space and an issue with the water heater I called him. These items were on my list of a contingent inspection response from a potential buyer so there were some nerves being in the middle of a contract. Anthony was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, skilled, and an excellent communicator. Not only that but he went above and beyond. He identified that the inspection report on the water tank was incorrect. I had gotten other bids from reputable plumbers and none of them mentioned what Anthony did. Any plumber would have known what he pointed out but he actually took the time to explain and didn't turn it into an opportunity to fix something that didn't need to be fixed according to the inspection response. Also he was willing to put in writing what he said to me on the estimate so I could send it to the potential buyer. As a result, the water heater issue was dropped from the list and money saved. I also found his estimate very fair for his skill level and reputation. If I lived in Tacoma he would 100% be my regular plumber.

We have been using Lind for many years. We have been especially impressed with the same day services we received for wasp and ground bee extermination (We have severe allergies.). We get quarterly service for ants and other creepy crawlies. Staff are professional and prompt. They are respectful of property and show concern for our pets. Also, we live near their office and we have found them to be great neighbors. (No speeding or excessive noise and always a pleasant wave.)
Vernon came out to our place to remove a yellow jacket nest that was too close to one of our walking trails for comfort. He was very timely and responsive to our request for assistance and came out even though it was one of the hottest days of the summer. We are moving into a maintenance contract with them. While not the cheapest option out there, I shudder to think of the shortcuts that would have been taken and the lack of input from us if we went with a cheaper contractor. Cost was definitely worth it.

These guys are awesome! They took down two big Douglas Firs in my yard quickly and efficiently, and then they completely cleaned up after the job like it was never even there. Super professional and highly recommend if you need trees trimmed or removed.
It was sad to say goodbye to our tree as it was already on its lasts legs. All around tree care was professional, prompt and quick. They were careful to cut down my tree and it was a lot of fun to see the process.
I had the TreeGuy out to help with a tree that had fallen over and was dangling over my feed shed and chicken coop. I discovered it after work and wasted time on an OUTRAGEOUS quote for the job and a young man who took the job but realized after he arrived that it was too much for him. It was quite late in the evening by the time Kevin was called in, well after work hours, but the tree was dropping a couple inches every time there was a breeze. I was pretty sure my shed and coop were toast. Kevin arrived promptly and went right to work. He worked for hours — well into the evening — and got the tree down with only minimal damage to one portion of chicken wire fencing. His fee was reasonable, and he saved my shed. I don’t know what I would have done if my neighbor had not called him out for me.
I hade to change dentists due to insurance coverage changes, and picked Tacoma Family Dental based only on the facts that they were close and contracted with my insurance. The atmosphere in the clinic was so warm and inviting! Staff were cheerful, thorough and considerate.
I am so grateful that the Universe (God, whatever) put this business in my path.
UPDATE: here it is a year later and I'm still extremely satisfied with this business and the staff. I especially appreciate the way they keep appointments on time!
Dr Korsmo and entire staff is light years above any other dental office. Welcoming office, easy northend location. They aren’t in network with my new insurance but still opt to receive care here.

There's a view of the water, I got to pick out music and I had a blanket! I hardly knew I was having a root canal. I would definitely recommend this office.

Vetco offers a great opportunity to get vaccinations for your pet at a much less expensive price. The care was just the same that you would expect visiting the established vet. Everyone was kind, compassionate and obviously animal lovers.
I've taken 3 cats here so far. Their care has been extraordinary, and my cat Scallion is always purring when we're in the parking lot waiting to be seen! I think it speaks volumes to how they care for animals and how much love they put into their work. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else, I always will trust my animals with them. Everyone is so nice and friendly, and very receptive to our questions!
We take both our cats here and the staff always make each visit so easy and stress free! They definitely take a fear-free approach with all animals and meet the lil critters where they are at. We can always rely on their care and attention to detail, and we know they view our furry family as more than just a file or a number.

They made a stressful situation feel much more manageable and were always patient with our questions and concerns.
Dr. Jeremiah was absolutely wonderful. She was thorough, reassuring, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which meant a lot to us. It was obvious how much care and attention went into Honey’s treatment, and we always felt she was in safe, capable hands.

Stephanie is the absolute best! My handsome boy has gotten pretty intolerable with grooming at home as he’s gotten older but is so comfortable with her. He comes home every time with the perfect haircut. I couldn’t recommend her more.
Our dog has severe anxiety and grooming her has been extremely difficult. We have been told by multiple groomers that they cannot handle her, and the only groomer to successfully cut her hair said she would not do it again. Lesha made her appointment at a time when no other dogs would be in the shop, allowed her to take breaks when she got too stressed, and was able to give her a haircut in under an hour. We will definitely bring her back!
My dog LOVES this place, lol. He is a Staffordshire pitbull terrier. They welcome Caesar and they are not afraid of him. HE's a PRINCESS. (eyes rolling). He will not get in the bath tub for me, but he runs and is so excited to get into the bath stations, it's silly. Makes me laugh every time. Everyone is super nice and very helpful. I love the concept of this business. They have all the supplies that you would ever need. It's very convenient for us. My dog loves the doggie cologne.

Yesterday, I booked a one hour Swedish massage with Mary. She made me feel very relaxed and enjoyed the experience. The spa has been recently remodeled and looks and feels very nice. The free sauna after the massage was an amazing way to end the session for me. I will definitely be back!
Wow. I have never been to a massage therapist with as much experience as Dean and I could tell the difference instantly. I thought I would just do a couple of sessions, but I am going to go regulary to help keep my body in better working order! It’s worth it.

I finally found a therapist who can work with my son! My son is developmentally delayed and autistic. He has both communication and behavior issues. After his hip was injured we spent months after his surgery trying to find a physical therapist who had the patience and skill to work with him on his level. Most therapists would give up after the first few minutes, but Jesse was able to complete a full 40 minute therapy session with him! I look forward to taking him to the next session. The staff I have interacted with at Epic has been friendly and accomodating to our needs. I would recommend them to anyone.

This place offers acupuncture,cupping and electronic acupuncture to help my situation and combined with therapeutic massage and the pastor to relieve the pain. Jason is very skilled acupuncturist and he helped me get rid of my knee strain, my back, neck shoulder strain as well as even correct my posture in a way. I always end up pain free when walking out this place.
