This massage was the single best massage I’ve ever had. I was in town playing g golf and was VERY sore and had knots everywhere and she was so intentional to find the spots I needed help and then work on them. I feel often massage therapists have a routine they do, and there was no routine here. I’ve never walked out of a massage feeling better!

Listen, the running joke amongst barbers is “what’s the difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut? About two weeks”. Yoyo is great. I’m an easy #2 fade and she remembers me and trims me perfectly every 6 months. She’s kind and caring and will give you the cut you want if you’re not the resident douche. Yoyo is my go-to for a trim and a bit of a flirt.

Big Dawg Barbershop is definitely one of the best spots in Tacoma for a haircut. The boys are always welcoming, laid back, and have great conversation. It’s the kind of place where you can actually relax, enjoy the whole experience, and know you are going to look good when you walk out. Scheduling is super easy, and they’re always willing to be flexible if I ever needed to adjust or fit something in.
I’ve been getting my hair cut by Josh for the past 2 years, and he’s been consistent every single time. The conversations are always real and easy, and he knows exactly how I like my cut. I would usually go with a low fade and take some length off the top, and he nailed it every visit. You can tell he really takes pride in his work and cares about his clients. I always looked forward to coming in and catching up with Josh and the boys.

Tommy and Kim used to do my nails for years, starting in the early 2000's. I moved away for 9 years and just returned to the area. After 2 disappointing nail jobs in the Lacey and Tacoma area, I suddenly remembered Tommy's. So much time passed but they remembered me as if no time passed at all. Tommy redeemed my struggling nails. I couldn't be more happy. I will make the 20 mile trek every two weeks. Beside my nails being gorgeous, they do not overcharge and they are good to their customers. Thanks Tommy & Kim for being so awesome.

TDLR: Carly was great esthetician but went too hard on the extractions. I ended up getting a broken capillary in my nose and minor scarring. I should have spoken up when the extractions were too intense.
I booked Carly for a 90 minute facial. On my end, I was 20 minutes late after mixing up the time. Carly still took me and we did a 60 minute facial for the price of the 90 minute facial. Thought this was gracious of her given I was running quite late due to the mix up.
Once I arrived, Carly was very kind and we jumped into the facial. Unfortunately, when we went to extractions she mentionned it may be uncomfortable but these extractions hurt! Since I usually dont do extractions, I thought this was normal and didn’t speak up. I should have! I ended up going back to my regular esthetician afterwards even though she is in Seattle and she shared that I had some minor scarring and a broken capillary from the last time she saw me (month prior). My skin is sensitive so this may not happen to everyone, but I would caution that if the extractions are feeling too painful to speak up or for Carly to be a bit more gentle.
I get my massages from Brandy, she is amazing. The kindest woman with some strong hands! Her massages always have great pressure, help me with my high tension areas. She hits the spots that I never knew connected to some discomfort i felt. I always feel wonderful and relaxed after.

If you have TMJ pain and have never had an intraoral massage before, this is your sign!!!! It will make life instrumentally better and Laurinda is your girl.

First time having my lashes done. I started slow with a lift and tint and love the results! Annie is professional, has a soft touch and is very professional. I appreciated the automated scheduling reminders, clear texts outlining the address, building access and free parking. Clear instructions on how to take care of my lashes with a to go brush and conditioner to keep my lashes looking great. Annie answered all my questions about other options. I’ll be back for extensions the next time.
Honestly I do not trust anyone but Lou with my lashes at this point! I have see at least 4 other lash techs and they never last/itch so bad! Her salon/studio is above a hair salon that never is open/unlocked. Which makes sense being on the Main Street in Tacoma. Makes me feel safe knowing we are safe when my eyes are closed for an ~an hour and stuck on the lash table! She's literally the best!
First off, this place is so cute and comfortable. Secondly, I scheduled an eyelash extension appointment for the wrong date and Fitu came all the way to the studio (even though she was off) just to get me in. Her work is amazing and she puts so much time and effort into your lashes. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

Met Das at WaSummerCon, unfortunately he didn't have an opening to do the tat that would allow him to give it th time and care that a memorial tat deserves. So made an appointment to meet up at the shop the following weekend. Shop was friendly, clean, we'll lit, and easy to locate. Das did a great job, very, very happy with my new ink. It really does justice in my opinion to the source sample it's based on.
Highly recommend going here, though keep in mind there is a community market that takes place on Sundays, so plan your timing accordingly to avoid being late, even the shop people had instances of taking 15-20 to find a legal parking spot.

Excellent service and very professional. Carlos and his team fixed the issue with a toilet that wouldn't fill properly. Plus, the team used camera to go through the pipes throughout the house so they could clean any gunked up pipes. Getting to watch the cameras in real time was reassuring that a problem was detected and fixed immediately. I highly recommend Rooter Tech. They provided excellent communication, they were here on time and they are knowledgeable.
I thought I had a leak in my bathtub but it ended up being entirely my fault due to not using caulking properly. The service tech showed up in a timely manner and he examined my situation and couldn't find a leak even after crawling under the house. He left and within 5 minutes I had to call him back to check my shower head and he was so calm and cool about it. The shower head forced the water to the underside of my strip caulking, flowing down to the corner of the tub and to the floor so it looked like a leak but it wasn't...even though this was a little embarrassing, the tech treated me respectfully and did a through job. The fist phone call to them was also pleasant and they booked the next day for services with follow up text messages. I recommend Spartan Plumbing services to anyone seeking help with plumbing issues,, especially in Roy as the first company I called could not service this area.
There is a service fee but very reasonable and I am definitely calling them again if needed.

Southern Boyz General Contractor recently refurbished a historic home that has been converted into a duplex located in North Slope Tacoma. This was no easy task! The goal was to upgrade and modernize various features in the duplex without losing the historic feel. That's a hard balance to achieve. I am thrilled that Kerry and his crew were able to achieve that sensitive balance and renovate while maintaining the charm and character of a home built in 1890. I didn't have a clear picture in mind of everything I wanted to do. Kerry, and his right-hand man Ronnie, helped me explore my options throughout the construction and always provided price estimates so that I could make informed decisions. It was a winding and twisting road to the final product, but I am so pleased with the end result! Working on historic homes often presents new discoveries and unanticipated challenges. Ace Backflow Only goes above and beyond for their customers. Just recently, we had called a couple of landscaping companies for a sprinkler blowout for the winter. One landscaping company claimed that the backflow assembly was broken and was in need of repair and gave us a quote on the spot. Wanting a second opinion, we had another company also give us a quote, but we had made the mistake of telling them that the backflow assembly was previously diagnosed as broken. They didn't deny the break and gave us a bigger quote than the first one. Thinking something didn't sound right from either company, I reached out to Terry for a third opinion.
Terry checked the backflow and didn't find anything wrong with it. Literally saved us thousands of dollars. Ace Backflow Only showed integrity by their honest service and that's why I'm a loyal customer. They could have claimed the backflow assembly was broken and cashed in on an unnecessary repair, but they didn't. They have both my respect and my business.

I'm updating my review because, although what happened cannot be undone, the phone call that I received from Jesse was an attempt to make it right, and I appreciate his honesty and willingness to try to accommodate my needs. As I said, mistakes happen and Jesse owned up to the mistake on the part of his staff, and even offered to pay my bill. I didn't take him up on his offer because thats not what I was expecting and it just didn't feel right. I just value his honesty.I called this company on Jan 27 because I had lost electricity in half of my house. The soonest they could get me in was Feb 24. Since there were no other ones available I scheduled the appointment for 1130. Feb 24th arrives and noone shows up at 1130. I start thinking maybe I got the time wrong and it was supposed to be 130. So I wait. 130 comes and goes and still noone shows up. So I call their office. The person I talk to confirms all my information is in their system,, but tells me there was no appointment! Ive never been a customer so how did they get my information? She was apologetic and blamed it on "miscommunication" but it was an error on their part. She says she can get me on the schedule for Mar 5, which means another week. I know mistakes happen but don't try to make it seem like I misunderstood. You just failed to follow through.

We have used Hammond Knoll to clean and repair our good wool rugs for the past 10 years. The repairs are seamless, you would never know there had been wear and tear. The rugs come back bright and clean. The fringe needed replacement in one area and it is seamless. On the large rugs they provide wonderful service to Olympia from Tacoma. The pricing is reasonable and they are careful with the rugs that are dyed from overseas or are very old.

This company is very good at cleaning. I have 10X8. Rug. Dustin retrieve the rub from my house and also the one that brought it back. I have worked with a lot of contractors over the years and I am very picky.Due to a water leak, we needed new wood woven into older oak flooring, one room completely refinished and color matched to the rest of the wood flooring which was buffed and recoated.The color matching was perfect. Problems with our old finish were quickly resolved. Trevor was very communicative throughout, he explained the whole process very thoroughly in advance. He and his workers were unfailingly polite, timely, and respectful. Their work was meticulous - they even came back to touch up areas that I thought needed additional attention without complaint.Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this company. My folks had talked about redoing the patio area for a few years. They wanted to install a concrete patio with a partial covered roof. So I researched and got a few bids. I decided to go with Garage/Concrete Etc because I felt the most comfortable with them. The entire crew was great, they answered any questions I had during the process, and the workmanship was great. My neighbor retired from construction and came over to look. Heck he even said they did a great job. Overall I am very pleased and would highly recommend these guys. Edited: John reached out personally and apologized for the initial quality of the work. He stayed in communication and followed through until the job was completed to my satisfaction. As a renter, I really appreciated that—too often companies do poor work and then disappear, so that level of accountability stood out.
This company replaced and repainted the railing at the property where I live. While I wasn’t the one who hired them (the landlord arranged it), I was present during the project and noticed several concerns.
During removal of the old railing, one of the support posts was cracked. Instead of repairing or replacing it initially, the new railing was installed on top of the damaged post and painted over, which is not a proper structural fix.
The finish work on the top rail also looked rough in several areas, with visible seams and multiple nail/staple marks across the surface. Cleanup was also lacking—rotten wood was left on the ground, and scrap wood was placed in my trash can without asking.
That said, the work was significantly improved the second time around. The affected areas were properly addressed, including repainting and reinforcing the previously damaged section, and multiple coats of paint were applied.
Overall, the initial workmanship raised legitimate concerns, but I do give credit for the follow-through and willingness to correct the issues. I would recommend closely inspecting the work during and after completion to ensure everything is done properly.
Very impressed. They came out and quickly solved multiple issues I had. The electrician was very professional and knowledgeable. I definitely feel I “got my moneys worth”, which is becoming more rare nowadays. I would recommend this company 100%.
Wilson and team helped us out with a wood fence repair project- replacing some rotten posts with pressure treated posts, and repairing and replacing other compromised boards, and fixing a misaligned gate. He took the time to explain the problems and each of his solutions, and talked through short-term and longer term solutions in this climate. Through some mismanagement on my part, I failed to see a few issues on the other side of our fence that still needed attention, and Wilson came back out a few months later to address the issues promptly- which was a lot to ask of him and he did a very thorough job.

It was sad to say goodbye to our tree as it was already on its lasts legs. All around tree care was professional, prompt and quick. They were careful to cut down my tree and it was a lot of fun to see the process.
I had the TreeGuy out to help with a tree that had fallen over and was dangling over my feed shed and chicken coop. I discovered it after work and wasted time on an OUTRAGEOUS quote for the job and a young man who took the job but realized after he arrived that it was too much for him. It was quite late in the evening by the time Kevin was called in, well after work hours, but the tree was dropping a couple inches every time there was a breeze. I was pretty sure my shed and coop were toast. Kevin arrived promptly and went right to work. He worked for hours — well into the evening — and got the tree down with only minimal damage to one portion of chicken wire fencing. His fee was reasonable, and he saved my shed. I don’t know what I would have done if my neighbor had not called him out for me.
I love the friendly staff and level of service is prime. Going to the dentist is not always fun but Dr Sing and his crew make it a comfortable and relaxing experience. Thank you for my smile!

I haven’t been to the dentist in 10 years. It’s far too expensive and you tend to forget to really make those care appointments until it’s necessary. Well, I’m pregnant so it is now 100% necessary for me to make sure everything is ok. I knew my gums needed some love but I was pretty anxious going in.
This was the most comforting and informative dental appointment I’ve ever had and they made me feel confident in taking control of my oral health. I go in for a deep cleaning in a couple weeks and I can express how excited I am. I walked into this appointment fearful and embarrassed and walked out, excited and relieved. I HIGHLY recommend going here because between the front desk, the hygienists, and the dentist, you will feel welcome and at home amongst people who TRULY care about doing what’s best for you and not about what will make them the most money.
Dr Ancich is a experienced, kind, and compassionate dentist who takes pride in making you feel welcome. Her staff is friendly and they are excellent communicators. If you can make their hours work, this is the dentist for you.

I have had nothing but wonderful service at One Dental! Everyone is so lovely. I have had two different dental hygienists: Betty and Sun. They are so friendly! Sun was especially helpful and knowledgeable too. She gave me a head and neck exam checking for signs of cancer. Apparently, that is something that should be happening at all dental check-ups/cleanings. That was the first one I've had in my life. So thorough!
Also, I really appreciate how eco-conscious they are!

They are the best of the best, God forbid I ever am involved in an accident again, but if I am, I will get back to optimal health there. I also have got best massage therapy from Shelly. I have been to many chiropractors in my life. However, none of them could compare to the treatment I was provided with at Heritage Chiro. The receptionist was very kind and inviting, and Dr Stillwell had an amazing sense of humor and a vast knowledge of what he was doing. My specific purpose for going to Heritage was because of an issue with my left hip that has been ongoing for almost 3 years. I could not sit for long periods, I was unable to stand without the help of others. I went to multiple chiropractors to help easy my pain and none of them were able to. I was then referred to Heritage and I was so upset that it took me so long to find them. Dr Stillwell was able to get my hip into place the very first visit, and in my second visit, adjusted my ribs so well that I was able to take a full breath in I can’t remember the last time I was able to do that!!! Thank you so much for providing me with relief that I didn’t realize that I could have.
I highly recommend Simmons Chiropractic in Tacoma, WA. They have a great staff overall. I’ve been seeing Dr Lyter for several years. He has always been able to target problem areas, and resolve pain issues. They have added massage therapy to their staff, which compliments the adjustment.

Dr Lynch is great and they come to you with little notice if you need them to for a small fee. Always available within a couple days but no more than a week if you need them to make a house call
Vetco offers a great opportunity to get vaccinations for your pet at a much less expensive price. The care was just the same that you would expect visiting the established vet. Everyone was kind, compassionate and obviously animal lovers.
I've taken 3 cats here so far. Their care has been extraordinary, and my cat Scallion is always purring when we're in the parking lot waiting to be seen! I think it speaks volumes to how they care for animals and how much love they put into their work. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else, I always will trust my animals with them. Everyone is so nice and friendly, and very receptive to our questions!
This review is specifically regarding Dr Mark A Peterson. We would not want any other vet for our kitty. We have been coming here for many years. He is definitely a “cat person” and we always appreciate his care for our many felines over the years!

We had to most amazing experience today! It was Momo’s first time at a groomer and we made no mistake in trusting Steffy and her husband to take care of our girl. I really appreciated the friendly updates and photos throughout the process as I was a nervous cat-mom waiting to see how it would go. Momo left so calm and happy, she actually slept in her crate on the way home. She not only looks and smells great, but she’s so happy! We will absolutely be back. Thank you both!!

My dog LOVES this place, lol. He is a Staffordshire pitbull terrier. They welcome Caesar and they are not afraid of him. HE's a PRINCESS. (eyes rolling). He will not get in the bath tub for me, but he runs and is so excited to get into the bath stations, it's silly. Makes me laugh every time. Everyone is super nice and very helpful. I love the concept of this business. They have all the supplies that you would ever need. It's very convenient for us. My dog loves the doggie cologne.

Amazing experience all around! Communication before, during and after massage was great. The space is so cozy and relaxing. I melted right in as soon as I was on the table. Touch was perfect and was very communicative if adjustments were needed. I left feeling like I was in a new body and felt so cared for. Booked the next three sessions before heading home!

My husband and I had a wonderful couples massage experience here. Mandy and Mia were both incredibly professional, attentive, and made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire session. They did an amazing job working out tension and helping us fully unwind. The atmosphere was clean, peaceful, and very welcoming! Our package included private use of their sauna and showers, so we both left feeling absolutely refreshed - physically and mentally. Will be returning here again!
I have visited both Rebecca and Amanda, and they are both amongst the top massage therapists I have experienced. They listen to what is happening through conversation and then take what they learn and then have an innate ability to listen to your body recognizing when something is locked up in the myofascia vs deep inside a muscle. They use various techniques to help you heal gently. They understand that the whole body is connected, and while it hurts in one spot, they know to look throughout the system to be sure to help from all the angles that add up. Highly, highly recommend!
I have been receiving massage with Michael for more than 10!years. He provides a professional, medical quality massage. Michael focuses on the big picture when it comes to what is best for his clients. His hours and days of availability are such a pleasant bonus for those of us with tricky schedules. Ya’ll I just had a 2.5hr triple body treatment that was SOOO relaxing!! I got a body scrub, body wrap and body massage from Kassie's Bodywork and it was amazing! I got every inch of my body scrubbed down and then hit with hot oil and massaged ?? my skin feels so silky smooth! and my husband said as soon as I got in the car I smelled amazing from whatever products she used lol plus the heated blanket under me was a nice touch, 10/10 highlyyyy recommend. Jesse Physical Therpist is the best! My mom came in bad shape, she couldn't walk straight and was loosing her strength. Jesse looked at her and knew exactly what she needs. He gave her recommendations for a belt, so she could walk straight. Every time she comes she gets stretches for her body and legs. She gets practical exercises and very happy with her progress! Everyone else in the office are wonderful! Thank you guys!

This place offers acupuncture,cupping and electronic acupuncture to help my situation and combined with therapeutic massage and the pastor to relieve the pain. As a chiropractor, I’ve referred many of my own patients to the clinic for support with labor induction and breech presentation, because I trust the level of knowledge and compassion they provide. I just completed my driving school and absolutely loved it! I thought it's gonna be scarier, but everything including the staff and especially instructor Tara were amazing! They are always willing to help you, if you are struggling or forget to do something. I passed the knowledge test and the final exam with the highest score and recommended everyone this school!
I had a really great experience here. Dave knows his stuff and is honestly one of the best instructors out there. He takes the time to explain things, focuses on safety, and makes sure you actually understand what you’re doing instead of just rushing you through it.
I came in with basically no knowledge, and he helped me get my CDL on the first try. He’s straight to the point but still makes it a good experience.
You can tell he really cares about his students and wants you to succeed. If you’re thinking about getting your CDL, I wouldn’t go anywhere else, you’d be missing out.
Gary was very friendly and helpful in getting me set up to take a driving test, I would recommend this location to anyone nervous about taking their test.
