Gave my cat a few more years. When he passed his thyroid was perfect but unfortunately SCL and a brain tumor got him. Wonderful staff even though he bit them..but that's my boy 🤣🖤
I took my 15 year old cat Tiger to FHTC in Tacoma in Late Oct 2025 and the results are nothing short of miraculous! She had a T4 reading of 10.4 and was losing weight rapidly. I tried the methimazole route but she stopped eating and what little she did eat she was vomiting up. I knew even before I got to her regular vet after the treatment that it had worked as she looked much better and I could feel the weight gain. Her one month after T4 reading was down to 1 and I am going in soon for the three month check and am quite confident all is well. She has gained even more weight! Worked like magic. We got our cat back. We were concerned about leaving him overnight, but it was obvious the entire staff loves cats and would try to make him as comfortable as possible. The doctor even did the exam sitting on the floor with him so he wouldn't have to be up on the scary cold metal table. After the treatment, he was back to his old self within days, strong and muscular, able to relax, no longer on edge and irritable at all times, his fur is soft and handsome, he is once again the regal and stately master of the house. It was absolutely worth it.
