From the moment I sat down, and Jonquil began examining my locs in dire need of maintenance ; I felt myself to be in skillful, creative and caring hands. Jonquil's technique is wonderfully effective without causing discomfort. I felt that I had a spider spirit weaving my locs back into form. In my 25 plus years of having locs I feel that they are the best that they been thanks to Jonquil's skill, artistry and innovation.
Fantastic experience and my dreads look great! Amazingly gentle on my sensitive scalp; incredibly efficient and effective weaving technique (we got done in the time predicted and the roots are the *perfect* amount of tight); the kind of calm, positive energy and fascinating personality needed for an introvert like myself to feel comfortable during a long chair sit. I have been driving up to Canada for the past 23 years to get my dreads maintained but my loctician in BC is retiring, and so I have been searching for someone with whom to trust the future of my dreads.
