As an affiliate of HSS the #1 Hospital for Orthopedics, I can see how and why Richmond Physical Therapy at 1785 Forest Ave are able to use that name. Very, very few on Staten Island can claim that status. I have been to other PT businesses here but none can compare with 1785 Forest Ave. From the very beginning, the assessment is very thorough. Dr. Mausmi, while doing so, gives you a detailed explaination of your weaknesses and how they can be strengthened. Following my assessment I was also fortunate to have her as my Therapist. She is mindful of my limitations while gently but diligently taking me through the necessary exercises needed in order for me to achieve the goals set for my total improvement. I highly recommend Dr. Mausmi and the staff there as they are also helpful when interacting with you, especially Daniel (Physical Therapist) and Melody (front desk).

I brought another pair of Expensive Boots for Half Sole Savers. And the owner suggested brown in color, Lug Type of sole saver or called cap and to replace the heel with matching lug type. They did a Perfect beautiful professional job. Done super quick and for a great price.

As someone who just recently was open to both aspects of Bound For Glory I will definitely be going back. Recently installed split system to cover our top floor. Scaran was efficient and neat and completed the job sooner than anticipated. My biggest obstacle to having this upgrade done was the unsightly look of all the lines running along the outside walls. Their technician met with us and set up a plan that was the most esthetically appealing. Very happy with the work.
Robert was very professional and righted all the wrongs from the previous guy that messed up our fan. He educated me on what was supposed to be happening and fixed it flawlessly, restoring AC to my home. Will 100% call again. (We had almost 4 pounds of Freon missing....)
Called Anthony around 5 PM and told him that our hot water heater was leaking. He said he would come over after dinner, if he had our model in stock. He called back and said he won't be able to come over until tomorrow morning because he needed the heater delivered to us tomorrow morning. His brother came over around 7:30 AM and Anthony was over around 8 AM. They had to wait a while for the delivery of the tank, but they still completed the job by 9 AM. Excellent response time and service. Great price. Recommend them highly.

Excellent Service! I called Richmond Plumbing and they were able to have a plumber to me in 20 mins. My faucet did not have water coming through. Tyler and Joe showed up and did an estimate since I needed a new faucet and I did not have one. They were honest and did not charge me until I had the faucet and made a new appointment. When the new faucet arrived, they came, switched it out along with replacing my turn off valve that was not working. They stayed within the estimate and did an amazing job. They were honest, thorough and even cleaned up! I will definitely use them again!
I had a recent issue with the AC they installed several months. I called on a weekend over their WhatsApp connection. I got a response within 20 minutes and scheduled service. When they came, they not only fixed the problem (it wasn't with their equipment, but with my breaker box) and recommended some long terms solutions.

I have used Coda Electrico a number of times over the last few years to do some updates. I live in an old co-op building with over 100 apartments, Jack and his crew updated all the electric boxes for the entire building and since then they have done a number of jobs in my apartment including LED ceiling lights , closet lights , electrical boxes in ceiling, installed ceiling fans etc. I just had Joey in about a month ago and he installed some led closet/ pantry lighting that looks fantastic. Going to have Joey come back and do a hall closet next. My mother is also a happy customer. I highly recommend! The are my go-to guys for any & all electrical work.
Roger did an amazing job of putting things in order, correcting a few decades-old issues in our Cobble Hill house before we rented it out two years ago and helping in crucial matters concerning combining two apartments in Brooklyn Bridge Park. He is extremely careful, very resourceful and amazingly neat in his work. He is creative in solving difficult problems - which in a 177-year-old brownstone is hugely helpful. His approach to electrical work is admirable: his planning, communication and execution is extremely thorough. On top of that he is a really nice guy! I give him my highest recommendation.
Ben called before the appointment to let us know he was on his way. He was knowledgeable about parking in our neighborhood. This is important in Brooklyn. He absolutely knew what he was doing with our Bluestar gas oven and didn't mind showing me. My burners were connected properly in seconds, and he had the part to change the igniter on the spot. We asked him to check on the part to replace the convection fan, so we will be dealing with him again soon.

The tech, Andre arrived within the 4 hour window we had been given and went to work by diagnosing the problem. He effected the repair without any damage to the nearby area. They did an incredible job removing pet stains from my area rug. I was initially worried that the stains would be impossible to get rid of, but they made my rug look brand new again.
They cleaned the carpet on my boat and I was very surprised at how good the carpets look now. I had a lot of water stains that they somehow removed.
When my pet had an accident on my rugs I thought they were ruined for good. However Staten Island Carpet successfully removed the stains.

Luis from Quality Pest Control is great. I have used him in the past for mouse control and termite treatment prevention. He did the job and there was ni scare tactics or upsell. I recently called him for termite treatment and instead of taking my money and treating the house he did an inspection of the house for activity. When i asked him how much i owed him i should not say this because he should have charged me but he let me go without a fee. He did not scare me or tell me i needed treatment but instead told me to hold off and wait until there is activity. He is an HONEST contractor which is extremely hard to find. I highly recommend him for your pest control needs.

I had a fantastic experience working with Sagona Landscaping. I primarily dealt with the owner, Tom Sagona, who was wonderful to work with. I originally brought him in to repair blue stone steps in my yard—a job several others were unable to handle. Tom took the time to thoroughly explain the technical challenges, which helped me understand the issue from the start.
Beyond the expert craftsmanship, the office staff was great to coordinate with, and the workers on-site were fantastic. After the masonry work, they did additional work on my front yard, and it looks beautiful. Sagona was fairly priced and Tom walked me through the complete cost. The crew arrived promptly every day and left the workspace spotless. I highly recommend this team and already plan to use them for an upcoming project!
In May of 2023, my husband and I bought our first home, and we hired Vinny to transform our front-yard and backyard. In the back, he and his team removed the old deck, graded, sodded, and added mulch and top soil to the yard, and in the front, he re-sodded, added new top soil, mulch, and flowers. Working with Vinny was excellent! He took great pride in his work. We had a tight schedule when he hired him, and he made it work well with his team. He also made sure we had the right equipment and taught us how to properly maintain our new grass. Would definitely recommend his work to anyone! I’ve attached before and after photos below!

Had a very large tree at the back of my property pruned today by G&R Tree Removal Service and was very happy with both their work and service. The crew was excellent and super helpful with moving all the patio furniture out of the way. They did excellent work on the tree and did a superb job cleaning up when they were finished. The price that I was quoted was very reasonable and I would have no problem using them in the future.

My daughter has autism. Going to any doctor is very hard for her. But Dr Merlino and her staff are the greatest, especially Debbie. The understanding, the patience, makes my daughter’s visit so easy. My daughter is an adult and even though Dr Merlino is pediatric she is the greatest. I would recommend her to anyone with a special needs child.

Dr Pedro just finished up an implant for me and is now starting the second one. I couldn’t be more pleased with his professionalism, patience, knowledge and expertise in the field. Dr Pedro walked me through every step of the process and didn’t push me into anything I wasn’t ready for. He has a super pleasant bedside manner and takes the time to talk and really know the patient prior to any work being done. I am happy with the end result on the first implant and eager to start the second.
If you are considering Dr Pedro you should definitely go meet with him and see for yourself what a real dentist is all about. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a single implant or multiple.

My treatment by Dr. Rao was so very kind, patient, attentive, knowledgeable and he has a pleasant sense of humor and easy on the eyes! Although my Sleep Apnea dental appliance took a long time with scheduling and calls to insurance companies I can say this dental appliance is sleek and comfortable. I have had other dental sleep appliances for the last 12 years (they last about 5 years ) and as time passes companies create better and more comfortable appliances. Dr Rao used top of the line AI EQUIPTMENT and computerized photography to create this mouth piece. This is the FIRST TIME it needed ZERO adjustments upon trying it on. WOW! I was very impressed. I can also say, if you are still using the Sleep Apnea Machine, I urge you to TRY the oral appliance, you will LOVE IT! It is like wearing a retainer! No tubes to clean, no attachments and easy to travel with. You also do not need to keep checking in with your pulmonologist for readings. For those who are snoring and gasping for air and haven't done your sleep study, I highly recommend you do so asap and let them know you would like to see Dr Rao at Oakwood Dental of Tottenville for a necessary sleep apnea dental appliance! It is also good for your heart and I am not waking up in the middle of the night for bathroom visits, I am sleeping better and I even lost weight because I was not craving during the day! Check with your health insurance company because they will reimburse you a good percentage, as this is a necessity for your health. Dr Rao does this process as well. 2025..Update several years later...If it wasn't for Dr. Defeo I would have NO front top or bottom teeth....change that to NO TEETH AT ALL. He's a brilliant dentist and once again, I thought that was it...after not showing up for way too long for an appointment...I was sure he was going to tell me that I needed dentures but no..he is fixing the teeth that need fixing and his bridges and crowns LAST FOR SO LONG...I've never had one of his cbridges or crowns replaced. The bad reviews because the front desk is so busy are absurd. They are the nicest ladies to me. Dr. Defeo is of the best dentists and human beings on Staten Island.

My wife went to Falcone family practice and just after her first visit she noticed a noticeable improvement and she feels a lot better. I’ve been a returning patient to N Y Chiropractic and Physical Therapy for years for various treatments. My latest chiropractic treatment was for radiative pain from my lower back through my legs caused by compression of my nerves due to degenerative arthritis. I was treated by Dr. Daniel Habib, DC and went from being visually hobbled and unable to do much besides laying down on my bed to the point now where I am close to being pain free and able to walk normally and engage in daily activities. They have a great and supportive team of chiropractors and physical therapists who listens, sincerely care about your physical well being and totally engage with you to get you back to doing the things that make life worth living! Kudos to all the entire team and staff who made sure my appointments were kept when life was lifing.

She is not only very attentive, caring and professional like many previous reviews stated. She will guide you and support you through surgery. She will know and inform you what the problem is just by looking at your skin and nails, and mainly she will support you and be there for you. Specialist like her are truly rare.

Dr. Rubenstein has been our Veterinarian for our cats and dog since 1989 and if we ever get another pet, their first visit would be to Victory Veterinary Practice. He used his skillful hands, not scans, to examine and diagnose. He’s gentle, yet got the job done. I wish some human physicians would use the hands-on approach, rather than treating lab work and tests. Can I give Dr Rubenstein 6 stars? ??????

The vet here was absolutely phenomenal. He understood my financial situation and worked with me. My cat, Bryan, seems to be doing better. I came in frantic and scared, but the staff was extremely empathetic and prompt in getting Bryan the care he needed. We are still monitoring Bryan, but he is doing better. I am so grateful and highly recommend this location for all your veterinary needs. ?
I can’t recommend this groomer enough. My dog Gamble has recently become reactive toward people and previously barked and jumped at another groomer, who refused to even wash him. This groomer took the time to do a meet-and-greet first and handled Gamble’s behavior calmly and professionally, showing him he wasn’t a threat. That alone meant a lot to me. We then scheduled a grooming appointment, and everything went completely smoothly thanks to his experience and understanding. Gamble came back looking great, and I felt so relieved finding someone who knows how to handle situations like this. Highly recommend!
I cannot say enough amazing things about Four Paws. As someone whose dog is genuinely the most important thing in the world to me, trusting people with him does not come easily — but I trust Four Paws completely. From daycare, to boarding, to grooming, every single experience has been incredible.
The staff is so kind, patient, and reassuring. They answer every question I have, call to check in, send updates, photos, and videos, and truly make me feel like my sweet boy is safe, loved, and cared for at all times. Even when he’s not exactly being the “best boy,” they somehow still make me feel like he is.
Ashley especially is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She treats every dog like they’re one of her own, and you can genuinely feel how much she cares. I recently used their grooming services for the first time, and I was blown away by the constant updates and reassurance throughout the process. Seeing videos and pictures of my boy being loved on the entire time meant everything to me.
Their daycare program has honestly been the best $40 I’ve ever spent. I have spent so much money trying to mentally stimulate my Golden Retriever at home, and NOTHING compares to how fulfilled and exhausted he comes home after a day at Four Paws. The convenience is amazing too — I can drop him off on my way to work and my husband can pick him up after.
Boarding there gave me such peace of mind. Being able to watch videos of him, get updates, and know I could reach out with any question at any time made all the difference.
And the BEST part? The second my dog realizes we’re pulling onto Main Street, he completely loses his mind with excitement. I have worked SO hard on leash training, but the second we pull up in front of Four Paws, I genuinely cannot hold him back — he is THAT excited to run inside and see his friends. That alone tells me everything I need to know.
I also really appreciate all the events and photo opportunities they do for the dogs, the safe socialization they provide, and even their kindness to the community. I recently donated some of my dog’s old items there, and anything they couldn’t use would be donated to local shelters in need, which I thought was so thoughtful.
I truly do not have a single bad thing to say. Every experience I’ve had has been positive, and I am so grateful Staten Island has a place like this. If I trust them with my dog, you can trust them with yours too.

Mike is excellent at his craft - my baby girl Seven always comes out of her session looking like a model dog, lol. Honestly I think it humbles her a little too, because I do spoil her. But he does a wonderful job every time.

The class is a great way to experience yoga with the added support / leverage of wall straps, making it both easier and more effective. I have been coming to the Yoga Nook since day 1. I love Nicole's classes. In the summer, she has a yoga in the park class at 8am that touches on all your senses and calms the soul. In the winter months, her classes never disappoint, and she is always changing things up. Her studio offers a variety of different classes to meet everyones needs. Highly recommend.

i truly can’t say enough amazing things about all of the instructors. whitney, nicole, alyssa, teisha, and winnie always have the best playlists, bring the best energy, and know exactly how to push you to do your best while still making every class so much fun. i’ve tried so many different classes and studios over the years, and this is by far my favorite in every way.
nicole (owner) is also one of the kindest and most accommodating people i’ve met. i always end up having the best conversations with her before and after class, and you can tell how passionate she is about her studio and the community she’s built. every instructor takes the time to demonstrate the movements, everyone is so welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere is unlike anywhere else. it truly feels like a beautiful community, and i honestly can’t imagine my routine without it.
I took the Sunday 9 AM ab class and it was amazing. I’m fairly new to Pilates, but the instructors took their time to explain everything and made me feel really comfortable. I’ve taken three classes so far and every time has been a great experience.

I can’t say enough positive things about CDL Auto Club. In just four weeks, I went from knowing nothing about driving a tractor trailer to earning my CDL Class A license.
My instructor was Oleg. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and funny, which made the learning process enjoyable and a lot less intimidating. He knows exactly what the examiners are looking for and does an excellent job preparing you for every part of the test. Just listen to what he has to say, apply it and you’ll pass.
I passed my road test on my first attempt, and I truly couldn’t have done it without Oleg. Not to mention the great help I receive from both women who worked in the office. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their CDL.

I had a driving lesson with John. I felt so comfortable and I passed easily on the test I didn’t even feel as nervous as I thought I would. I rlly recommend and appreciate him!
I had a great experience. Sujeta was professional, knowledgeable, and always willing to provide helpful tips and techniques to avoid common mistakes during the road test. I took the test twice, and thanks to Sujeta’s guidance, I was able to improve my driving skills after my first attempt and successfully apply those improvements during my second test. Although I recommend additional practice with or without the driving school prior the test to hone your knowledge.
I had a wonderful experience with this driving school. My classes were very informative helping me to learn the rule of the road and gain confidence behind the wheel. I especially enjoyed just how much the importance of safety while driving was installed. I would also like to give a special shout out to my wonderful and supportive instructor Tye whom made me feel safe and confident while driving. My favorite thing he always said was to never let other drivers push me wich I feel is a very important lesson for new drivers especially those who experience some anxiety while behind the wheel. In only six lessons I was ready for my exam and passed first try. I am extremely grateful to this school.
He is absolutely professional, patient and ensures to fine tune your areas of weaknesses. I have been lucky to have him as my instructor and thankful to him for transforming me into a confident driver on the road. It was good overall, very informative and actually taught me something. The only downside is the verification process where it asks you your favorite music or your favorite color, I sometimes because I don’t think about it, and on the 2nd module I had to redo the entire course because I forgot one of them. Luckily it wasn’t a huge loss since I had just started, but I ended up leaving “other” for every question so I could continue. I understand it’s for safety reasons. The questions that were easier to answer were factual ones, like, “how many states have you lived in”, or “how many cars do you own?” Those are much easier to answer and I never get them wrong, unlike the subjective ones.

I took lessons with Island Driving school and took Bob’s 5 hour class 7 years ago. I had the majority of my lessons with Laura (idk if she’s still with you now but she was such a patient and kind teacher). They really work with you to succeed on being an excellent driver. I passed my road test on my first try back in 2019 thanks to the teaching methods used by this driving school. Bob’s 5 hour class is the best and I still apply the things I learned from him to this day. I was rushing to get my license before I moved out of state for graduate school…to a place where public transit was scarce and driving was a necessity. I moved back to the island recently and I’m still able to drive well here thanks to what I learned at Island Driving School. I have not in all this time received any kind of ticket and I drive very safely and also with confidence. This place gave me that as a young person who was very unsure about driving at the time. Just wanted to come on here and say thank you!!
