I hired Alexandra for bridal trial and i was sold on the facts that 1.) she was a very calm and positive person to work with, we communicated very well, and she responded well to changes i requested. this was most important to me. and 2.) the placement of all the makeup was pretty perfect at the trial alone, she followed my inspo pics to a T and adjusted in a way to complement my complexion and face shape. by my wedding day, she made some minor changes to help the makeup last even longer, but even the minor changes and time Alexandra took, the makeup looked and lasted 100000000x better than the trial. she also was open to using the foundation i already use and am comfortable with. i am in the process of growing out my eyebrows so i purposely have some stray hairs, and my brow girl told me that if my MUA is any good, she would know how to even out my brows and understand that my right brow is higher than the left. i didnt say anything to Alexandra and she explained exactly that was how she was going to even out my brows. trust the process, she knows what she is doing. she takes pride in her work, and adapts well to change.

I’ve been going to Carlos’ Hairspot for the past 4 years and I’m happy with their service. I normally have a haircut with Roman who is very competent, but the other barbers such as Gino (his brother) are also good professionals.
Price as of April, 2026 is $30 which is reasonable. They work by appointment so give them a call before you go.
This barbershop is located in the northern part of Bayonne in a somewhat quiet area so I never have a problem finding street parking.

I've recently moved to Bayonne and I've been to Carlo's 2 times and was satisfied in both occasions.
There are 4 barbers and 3 of them take appointments. The first time I went I didn't schedule an appointment so I had my haircut with Frank who is a friendly and competent barber. He used to own his own barbershop back in the days. He doesn't work by appointments so it's first come first serve.
The second time I went I scheduled an appointment with Roman who is also very friendly and super competent. So far so good! I'll definitely go back!

I’ve been coming here for several months now and I always leave happy with my nails!!! Everyone of the staff is so lovely, welcoming, and amazing, but I especially have to shout out Reyna. She truly takes her time and pays attention to every little detail. She always perfects the shape of my nails and does such a great job color matching to make sure I get exactly what I’m looking for. I cannot recommend this salon enough! They did such an amazing job making me blonde from my dark brown virgin hair. I was honestly so nervous, especially because I have very long hair and had never colored it before, but they completely exceeded my expectations. I’ve been getting my haircut by Raul most of my life and really don’t trust anyone else, he does amazing cuts everytime. The shop is very relaxed, clean and comfortable and there is usually parking in the area either on the street or in the parking lot down the block on 33rd.
I’ve been serviced by this salon since around 2004. I’ve had cuts and colors done here, I’m always very pleased with my services. They listen to what you want and suggest ways to care for your hair or styling tips for when you’re home doing it yourself. I highly recommend giving them a call and checking them out. I haven’t changed salons a single time since and as long as they’re in business I’ll be a patron. Every time I go I get a wash/condition, trim or cut, and blow dry/style done. I had my hair done for prom here. I had my hair done here for my senior yearbook photos. Diehard fan for life!

I recently had my HVAC system replaced by DMC and I was happy with their service and the overall process.
I got quotes from different businesses and DMC offered one of the best prices. Note that they do not offer financing, but if you’re willing to pay the full amount (half before service and half afterwards) and save some money, it’s a good deal.
I live in a Condo, so DMC provided all the necessary documents including certificate of insurance before I signed any agreements. It was easy to communicate with DMC via email and phone and everyone I dealt with was polite and friendly.
Installation was done within one day and all technicians who came to my house were friendly and professional. Oscar, who I believe was the lead technician, was patient, friendly, a nice guy.
So far the system has been running fine. I will update my review at a later time should anything change. With the service I was provided by DMC I feel comfortable and confident using their service in the future for HVAC and plumbing needs.
Note that there are some negative reviews associated with home warranty but those seem to be for a different DMC company. The one I’m reviewing is DMC Plumbing from Bayonne, NJ.
Nardini Brothers have been my go-to electricians for 13 years. Their work is always top-notch . We own an old Victorian with lots of issues and they are consummate problem solvers, always finding solutions to the odd problems old houses have. They have done everything from simply rewiring a dangerous chandelier (it came with our house) to running a new high power line from the street into our home. In addition, they are neat, always cleaning up their work area and pay attention to detail. I would not hesitate to call them out for any job!

On October 6, Marek and his very talented crew began work on our master bath, sorely in need of renovation. Numerous plumbing and electrical issues were found and dealt with in a thorough manner. Despite the issues found, the job was completed within a week of the estimate and on budget.
His men are very professional and talented. We recommend Mareks and Son not just for the quality of the work, but for the personal touches and professionalism he provides. And this was not the first major project he undertook, as he did a complete reno of our kitchen and rebuilding of our basement. That said, we highly recommend Marek's and Son. Quality is job 1.

I was then introduced to Lucy, the designer, and together we all collaborated on an economical and Pleasing design. We agreed on a start date and a fair price, then work began. I got to meet Jerry and Roberto, who performed the majority of the labor. They were excellent to work with & very accommodating. There were minor changes through the course of construction, but all in all, I was very pleased with the people associated with Worldwide. I approved the various Materials chosen along with the exceptional workmanship it created a wonderful new Master Bath. I will use them again to redo my guest bathroom also.

I have been doing physical therapy for over a year and while it helps, I still was suffering from headaches and neck aches on my left side due to degenerative disc in my neck and not to mention the numbness and tingling on my left arm and fingers (very scary when those symptoms first started). I've seen a chiropractor before many years ago for something different but my doctor nor my physical therapist recommended me to see a chiropractor. Somebody recommended me to try it, so I went to see Dr Paul and hope he could help 🤞. His staff were very pleasant and friendly as well and that's a plus! So after 3 months of seeing Dr Paul, I have to say thank you! Why didn't I do this sooner. He has helped with the headaches and the tingling is not as frequent and I'm grateful for the relief (and it has been only 3 months of trearment). I will definitely continue to see Dr Paul of Rose's Chiropractor to be on my road of healing.

Dr. Mammas has been caring for my dog, Lucy for her entire life. Last night he was like a superhero and I am forever grateful. She underwent emergency surgery and got many stitches. He was fast and did a fantastic job.

Took our baby girl Kacha there. Dr Streit and the team were very careful and the whole process took less than 30 minutes and we were out with medicines for our cat. Will always be taking Kacha here. It's affordable and the entire team is very caring.

Bov is incredible with the pets she grooms. She provides individual care and her facility isn’t an assembly line where multiple pets are being worked on at the same time. She is so patient with each pet and allows them to walk around and get comfortable with her. And when she’s grooming them, she allows the owner to stay with their pet to keep the pet comfortable. We originally brought our then 14 year old dog to her that had become very skittish with the grooming process due to his declining health. She was so wonderful with him that when we adopted two pomskies, she was our first choice for a groomer. One of our pomskies is very nervous and suffers from anxiety, and by the time she was done with him, he was giving her kisses and was very happy. In addition, she has a very accommodating schedule. I highly recommend Dog Bath and Beyond.
