My instructor was Oleg. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and funny, which made the learning process enjoyable and a lot less intimidating. He knows exactly what the examiners are looking for and does an excellent job preparing you for every part of the test. Just listen to what he has to say, apply it and you’ll pass.

I passed my road test on my first attempt, and I truly couldn’t have done it without Oleg. Not to mention the great help I receive from both women who worked in the office. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their CDL.“

“I had a great experience. Sujeta was professional, knowledgeable, and always willing to provide helpful tips and techniques to avoid common mistakes during the road test. I took the test twice, and thanks to Sujeta’s guidance, I was able to improve my driving skills after my first attempt and successfully apply those improvements during my second test. Although I recommend additional practice with or without the driving school prior the test to hone your knowledge.“

“It was good overall, very informative and actually taught me something. The only downside is the verification process where it asks you your favorite music or your favorite color, I sometimes because I don’t think about it, and on the 2nd module I had to redo the entire course because I forgot one of them. Luckily it wasn’t a huge loss since I had just started, but I ended up leaving “other” for every question so I could continue. I understand it’s for safety reasons. The questions that were easier to answer were factual ones, like, “how many states have you lived in”, or “how many cars do you own?” Those are much easier to answer and I never get them wrong, unlike the subjective ones.“

“I had a wonderful experience with this driving school. My classes were very informative helping me to learn the rule of the road and gain confidence behind the wheel. I especially enjoyed just how much the importance of safety while driving was installed. I would also like to give a special shout out to my wonderful and supportive instructor Tye whom made me feel safe and confident while driving. My favorite thing he always said was to never let other drivers push me wich I feel is a very important lesson for new drivers especially those who experience some anxiety while behind the wheel. In only six lessons I was ready for my exam and passed first try. I am extremely grateful to this school.“

“I took lessons with Island Driving school and took Bob’s 5 hour class 7 years ago. I had the majority of my lessons with Laura (idk if she’s still with you now but she was such a patient and kind teacher). They really work with you to succeed on being an excellent driver. I passed my road test on my first try back in 2019 thanks to the teaching methods used by this driving school. Bob’s 5 hour class is the best and I still apply the things I learned from him to this day. I was rushing to get my license before I moved out of state for graduate school…to a place where public transit was scarce and driving was a necessity. I moved back to the island recently and I’m still able to drive well here thanks to what I learned at Island Driving School. I have not in all this time received any kind of ticket and I drive very safely and also with confidence. This place gave me that as a young person who was very unsure about driving at the time.
