My 13 year old son was cut very badly during a barbershop visit. The cut was severely infected and looked grotesque. My son was so embarrassed. I ran to Dr. Penrose in a panic. She reassured me everything would be okay and that if a scar was left she could help with that . She prescribed my son medications and miraculously my son was healed completely . There is no scar and no evidence that my son was cut. I am so thankful for this doctor who knows what she is doing. This doctor also took care of my son’s acne at the same time.

Dr. Penrose is knowledgeable, kind, and patient, while her staff is always professional and helpful. I have seen her on a regular schedule for scans, as well as for emergencies, and I've never had a problem scheduling an appointment. I recommend her highly.

The BEST dermatologist on Staten Island HANDS DOWN! As someone with very bad health anxiety, I often feel as though clinicians do not take into account the worry and anxiety many patients feel when they find something they believe is wrong or worrisome. NOT Dr.Penrose or her staff. They are the MOST patient and caring professionals around. I have been going to Dr.Penrose for about 2 years and I every single time I am treated with understanding and compassion. I simply cannot day enough good things about the staff here. If you need a dermatologist I highly recommend you see Dr.Penrose, you certainly won’t regret it!
