Banfield Pet Hospital

Best Banfield hospital in the NYC area. We used to go to the Manhattan and Brooklyn one but they NEVER answer the phone and will put you on hold for hours then hang up. It's impossible to get through or get updates on anything about the pet. They're also so busy that they've taken months to process a lab test (they actually lost the sample..). We take our pets here now even though it's a 1.5 hour drive and never had issues with lost samples and can get through to the staff to get any updates when needed. It's also not extremely busy all the time like the other Banfield locations so we can take our time with the vets or front desk to get any questions answered.

I had a great experience here just for a routine check-up. Update my dogs vaccinations with no problem. Staff was nice, especially Peter. He gave my dog 5-star treatment and informed me on everything they were doing behind the scenes. The vets seems well equipped and care for the animals here. Truly happy with this place.

I cannot understand how some doctors and veterinarian technicians here are weird with the dogs. Awkwardly pets and holds them for their examination. Going to the veterinary hospital is stressful for the animals. Did not one person think to install a water fountain or small bowls for the dogs to quench their thirst? You have to be customer obsessed to work this field. I didn't get that experience here but instead an attitude from the receptionist! Especially when asked for an update on my fur baby. Hire better and develop better. Social skills are a 2 out of a ten. I need consistency as like every other parent who seeks the medical attention for their little fur kids....read full review
