Big Shout Out to Bighorn Barber Shop! Especially to Bryce Martin!!! We have a son who suffers from sensory and speech issues and Bryce went out of his way to make him feel comfortable. He let him look and touch the clippers and explained (in kid terms) what he was going to do. Our son was the calmest we have ever seen him during a haircut!
On top of that, this establishment really does give off that old time "barber shop" feel. It's a great place to go and get all of your grooming needs taken care of. So if you are looking for a great Barber Shop, we highly recommend Big Horn!

My nails are thin and peel on the sides. I used to only get gel type nails for special occasions as they never lasted more than a week. I went to Stacie for just that reason, a wedding in 2021. I rec’d a full set of gel nails and they lasted several weeks. No lifting. I decided to continue seeing Stacie for gel mani/pedis. It has been 4 years now!

I couldn't have been more impressed, the schedule options were awesome as I was able to get scheduled SUPER short notice and as a new client. Andi was FABULOUS! She has such awesome and kind energy! Tucked in a Sola-salon type space, hers is exceptionally nice and clean, spray tan lasted weeks and I didn't see one splotch or unevenness. I have since recommended her to friends.

I am not from Idaho but I was visiting this last weekend when In my hotel I noticed I lost a ball to my healing septum ring. I did not have any extras and considered doordashing a replacement from Walmart but I happened to have long nails at the time so I decided to go to the nearest piercing shop. I showed up looking a fool in my pajamas but I had high hopes! There was one man in the building and he was busy tattooing another gentleman, he asked how he could help and I explained the situation. Well all he had was septum that were threaded differently so I couldn't just buy a ball from him. Well not only did he replace the full ring for me, pulling up a chair and taking the time out of his day to properly prepare for the swapping of jewelry, he did not make me pay for it. What an absolutely generous man. And when I tell you I walked in looking like I jusy rolled in from bumville, he owed me nothing and still went above and beyond to help me. I only come to Boise once a month but I decided I will start scheduling tattoo appointments here for when I visit because this joint absolutely deserves as much business as possible. I unfortunately do not know the name of this lovely gentleman but he knows who he is! Thank you again, I will be back!
Samantha Mcquellen is one of the best tattoo artists in Boise in my opinion. She's extremely fair on price and the artwork is amazing. She will forever be my artist I go to. Plus, after my wife passed she let me put her ashes in my tattoo.

I took my daughter in today to get her nose pierced and we had the best experience! I want to say her name was Heidi. She took the time to explain everything to her from the process to the jewelry and which she thought would be best for her nose shape and being the first piece going in. When it came time to do the actual piercing she was so patient and kind and again explained everything to my daughter and what to expect so there weren’t any surprises. I'd highly recommend McDaniel Plumbing for all your plumbing needs. They are professional, polite, and responsive. Very friendly crew. I've had them repair a separated under sink drain line and switch out multiple plumbing fixtures throughout the house. They also made some changes to my hot water heater and gave some recommendations for care and maintenance. Taking on your own repairs isn't recommended unless you really know what you're doing. Professional repair and installation goes a long way in terms of longevity.

We first learned about Oxi Fresh Carpet cleaners from Steve while house sitting for our kids. He came to do the carpets since they had been gone for two months. I was there to let him in and he engaged me in a conversation about the process and how it differed from steam cleaning. I watched him work and was amazed at how little moisture got into the carpets! He worked efficiently and was very thorough even going back over a few spots until he was satisfied! When he was done, I asked him a few additional questions and he took extra time answering them. He certainly knows the product and the process that ensures your carpets are completely clean! After the carpets were dry (which wasn’t long), I definitely saw a visible difference in them. I was so impressed that I booked a cleaning at our house asking for Steve. He did an amazing job on our carpets as well (especially with the amount of black dog hair) and we will be using Oxi Fresh from now on!

I used Blue Goat Roofing in Boise to install a new replacement roof that was ~24 years old. I had some leaking in an area of the roof several years ago and Nick of Blue Goat roofing came out and knowing I didn't have the funds at the time to replace the roof, he went ahead and went "above and beyond" to make the necessary repairs without charging me (~$500 repair cost). Nick did as I remember him when we were ready for a new roof. That first impression and interaction was what sold me to use Blue Goat roofing. Words cannot express my appreciation to Nick! Fast forward, in October I called Nick at Blue Goat Roofing as I was ready to replace my roof. I am highly satisfied with the final job and look of the new roof. Nick is a great guy to deal with and is very proactive answering all my many questions. He has great integrity and really cares that his customers are looked after and kept informed. Thanks to his approach, he made us aware of any hidden issues and fixed them appropriately - i.e. adding additional vents at no cost! It’s hard to find reliable builders who aren’t going to take you for a ride. If you’re looking for a solid sunroom, I highly recommend Kevin who owns Victory Windows and remodeling. From start to finish, the process was very streamlined and smooth. He was easy to get a hold of throughout the couple months of the build, with prompt communication (permits, subcontractors, tiny adjustments). When Kevin said he would be there he was. Kevin and His employee were always very meticulous and clean; everything squared up, the subcontracted he had were also efficient. Victory windows prices are spot on. This is now everyone’s favorite room in the house. It’s been about a year and no issues, no cracks, no leaks-Everything is still on point and great.“C” another “large” window company came out and quoted us double what Kevin had and it was going to be 3 feet smaller in depth lol. My budget was not huge, but Perry, with economy, professionalism, and experience delivered a renovation that was beyond what I could have imagined. Perry responded to me within hours, either through email or text, and his patience never flagged despite my barrage of questions and my inexperience. I can't say enough great things about AMP. They were professional, fast, and highly effective at removing a MASSIVE tree from my property. Several other companies were too scared to even touch it, but AMP said they had removed even bigger trees before! They communicated with me throughout the process on scheduling, brought the right equipment (which included an 80 ton crane, bucket lift, wood chipper, and two huge trucks), showed up on time, and worked hard to get it done fast. Not only did they do a great job with the heavy tree work, they did an amazing job cleaning up including my yard, my roof, everything! Thank you, AMP!!
We have used A&A for tree and bush trimming several times since moving here 5 years ago, and would not use anyone else. Joe is reliable, does a great job including clean-up after the trimmings, and he takes pride in the work he does. We had a large branch break but was somewhat still attached to our tall tree. Tapson’s was able to come within the hour, after hours, safely remove the branch while keeping the rest of the tree intact. They were mindful of the house and fence and thoughtfully planned how to safely remove the branch. They got all of the branches and chipped it. I’d recommend Tapson’s again and next time, they would be my first call.

As a new patient who hadn’t been to the dentist in a while, Dr. Jensen and Kylie (and ALL the staff) were very non-judge mental and very helpful. Dr. Jensen did a thorough exam and conducted a very comprehensive treatment planning meeting wherein we discussed numerous options. The cost estimates appear to be reasonable, and I am looking forward to continue as a patient of Dr. Jensen and Maple Grove Dentistry.

What a great experience! After moving to Boise (no, not from CA!) we were looking for a new dentist and after our first visit to LIFESmiles we know that our search is over. Everybody there is very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Fast forward a few years… We will be moving to a different state again and one of the big questions we will need to answer at our new place is whether they have a dentist who’s as knowledgeable and professional as Dr G from LifeSmiles. The bar is set very high now and I just know that it will not be easy (if not impossible) to match that.
The staff are all amazing! I’ve been a patient for over a year now for regular cleanings. Called in this last week for tooth pain and was very fortunate to get in right away. I ended up needed a crown done. They saw the problem right away, did the work that needed done and left with my temporary and most of all with no more pain! Dr. Carlee at BoDo Chiropractic is amazing. I’ve had pain in my scapula and chest for years when I exercise. She adjusted my rib cage and the pain is gone. She’s helped me with muscle pain and strain in my lower back too. I highly recommend her and BoDo Chiropractic!

I have been going to Price Chiropractic for several years. Dr. Flack and Dr. Reidhead are very qualified and have the knowledge and skills needed to give safe and effective treatment. They are very good at helping patients manage pain and stiffness. Also, they are very communicative and personable. They take a real interest in their patients, communicate well and are very able to explain the diagnosis and treatment plan so patients understand. Very open to answering questions too. I highly recommend Price Chiropractice. They have helped me immensely.
Dr. Gray is wonderful! He is very knowledgeable about human anatomy (in fact, I believe he has a degree in it!). Somehow he always knows where the problem areas are before I even tell him! And the staff are excellent- so friendly and efficient.

We thank our lucky stars every day for Dr Rosenberg (and Cassandra) After seeing another 'popular ' functional medicine clinic in Boise we were left frustrated and with a child who was still ill and just couldn't seem to be at peace within her body. Dr Rosenberg listen to what I had to say, and I can't emphasize this enough! Because he listen to what I was explaining after a couple test we were able to figure out after getting her gut back in line she had dopamine built up on her brain. After treating this our lives have completely changed! Brooklyn is happy, healthy and finally able to be at peace in her own skin!

I have been having thyroid problems for years. Since we started coming here I have lost 6 pounds due to my thyroid becoming more stable. Dr. Hunter and her team are the best in the business! It is the first time my dogs have been excited to go to the vet- they get loved on and taken care of! Dr Hunter is extremely knowledgeable and thorough, and I love her mix of traditional and homeopathic options. Our 15 year old lab is a perfect example of Dr Hunter’s “magic” - before we found her, our lab was in a lot of pain, not very mobile or energetic; now she is thriving and spunky as ever, with the right meds and supplements, and the occasional acupuncture. We appreciate you Dr Hunter- the world needs more of you!

I've been a loyal fan of NW Animal and Ewing Animal Clinic since 2019. Prior to that I had tried out two other clinics who had either rude receptionists or incompetent, new young vets. I had 3 labs, ranging in age from 5 to 13. Dr Wethered is a bit quirky with humans, but really understands the needs of dogs. He instantly recognized my choc lab had severe anxiety and would benefit from Prozac, which he's on now and really has helped; he successfully administered laser surgery to my lab who was treated before with surgical methods that didn't work at a different clinic for canine papilloma virus; he diagnosed and did successful surgery on bladder stones for my elderly yellow lab; my choc lab had surgery by Dr Keller in an emergency situation for eating a bone that wouldn't pass on a Friday evening....she stayed late doing the surgery and came in later that evening to check him and early in the AM again to check him...he recovered great! Dr Wethered and team sent me a beautiful bouquet after they learned I had to put down my yellow lab. Dr W does a lot of research and stays abreast with the latest findings. Again, he's quirky with people but great at treating animals. The staff is always friendly and their hours of operation best in town.
I cannot say enough about North Boise Vet, Dr Frost and his staff. My dog Millie had not been eating and had signs of blood in her stool for a couple of weeks and it was only getting worse. I took her in and the staff were so gentle and kind. Dr Frost came in and examined her, listened to what I had to say and gave me a run down on what they were going to do. They needed to keep her in order to complete her testing and x-rays and they kept me up to date on what they were finding. Unfortunately they discovered a tumor on her spleen, we discussed the options but the only viable route was to see she had a comfortable send off. They were truly compassionate through out this whole ordeal, they let me sit with Millie for as long as I wanted before saying good-bye and let me continue to pet her and see me to the end. All I can say is Thank you.

I cannot say enough good things about Ewing Animal Hospital. We have utilized services by both Dr. Wethered & Dr. Lieske for various reasons across the years (annual check-ups, spays, tumor removal, blood panels, kidney failure, multiple day hospitalizations, etc.). There is no such thing as a dumb question and I have never felt like I was rushed through an appointment or like communication was lacking like some other reviews state. They do a really great job at trying to accommodate any of your scheduling needs. Both vets also work out of another location so if their schedule at Ewing does not fit your availability or needs, they do a great job at coordinating with the other location to ensure your pet is able to be seen. The staff ranging from their awesome veterinarians, vet techs to their front reception team show that they actually care which really helps during those spooky hospital stays because you can trust that your pet is in good hands (and receives love and attention during their stay). That portion was HUGE for me. I knew my pets were not just hanging out alone in their kennel. Visits were allowed and each staff member we came in contact with had a million things to say and chatted about the time they were spending with them. I could not recommend them enough.
Thank you to Companions Animal Hospital, Dr Powell and all their caring and compassionate staff. I took our new Old English Bulldog puppy in a few months ago to establish care. 2.5 months later he became sick with gastrointestinal problems. Seemed like he would have the problems at home…diarrhea, lethargy, etc…. He would get to the Vet and would seem better. Over a period of time with their patience and fortitude the issue was found and he is on the mend. I am so grateful that they didn’t give up and that all their time and tests were affordable. I was kept informed and they were very patient with me and my multiple phone calls as I was nervous. I would definitely recommend Companions to anyone who loves their pet as if they are a member of the family. They are amazing.

Dr Squires has been taking care of my Yorkie, Kami for years, She now is in the end stages of her life and he has helped her be comfortable with medications for her heart. Took my Husky for his very first grooming and was astounded by the happy dog that greeted me on my return. I have a bad experience with a reputable groomer years ago and was hesitant to do it. Nickel, who is high strung, was beautifully groomed and oblivious to his usual triggers. I highly recommend D-Tails. Dalis has chosen a great crew.

We LOVE CleanPup! This was our first time using a mobile grooming company and I will never go back. My dog Sage was treated so well. She is sweet but a large breed so I am happy Tim handled her so amazingly. Tim was extremely kind and patient with Sage, since she was apprehensive at first to enter the grooming trailer. She came out looking great and smelling fresh!
By far the best groom my Goldendoodle has ever gotten! Staff was super nice and friendly. I will definitely be making them my go to groomer moving forward!
Came here for the self-wash and it was great. Easy process and helpful staff. For $20 you can't beat the location and space to wash your dog.
Such a beautiful, serene space. I received a massage by Rose as a gift from a dear friend, and it was a wonderful experience. Rose gives the best massages and makes you feel very comfortable and cared for. I’ve been under a lot of stress lately, and I left feeling so much better and relaxed. I would love to book with Rose again, and check out the yoga classes. I highly recommend this studio!

I found relief and transformation from the first session with Matthew. As a sensitive being, I'm pretty careful about who I trust with my body and nervous system. I was surprised by how safe I felt with Matthew and the way I was able to relax into his support. His somatic sessions are truly unique, and he isn't afraid to go deep. Matthew clearly walks his talk, and does his own work. That's really important to me in a provider. I would recommend him to anyone and look forward to continuing to work with him.
Deborah is a fantastic Pilates instructor! Each session is different and exactly what I needed. She worked with me through injuries and my extremely tight hamstrings. She can always come up with modifications to make sure that you're able to get the most from each session. Highly recommend!

Joe did a great job. This is a clothes-on massage, but that didn't stop Joe from getting right to my problem areas and releasing the tension. This was a first clothes-on massage for me and I thought it was fine. Weird at first because it was new, but then totally effective.
After having multiple surgeries and frustrating experiences with more than one physical therapist who didn’t seem to really help, I learned about Tyler Burton and decided to give PT one last chance. He didn’t waste my time with exercises I didn’t need but instead got right at what was going to help my shoulder and knees. I recently had a pretty involved rotator cuff surgery. I felt that I was healing well from it until I was incapacitated with the pain from new onset of frozen shoulder. I never experienced such unrelenting, intense pain. My PT mentioned acupuncture possibly helping with the adhesive capsulitis. I found Sean on my own on the internet. I was immediately impressed with the level of education and training, as well as his reviews. After scheduling an appointment with him, I had absolutely no idea what to expect, but was desperate to try anything. When I first started acupuncture with Sean, I could barely function with my ADLs (activities of daily living) due to my immense pain. After my first visit, within 24 hours, my pain had significantly decreased. After only two weeks, with twice weekly visits, I am almost completely functional and moving closer towards getting back to the quality of my life prior to surgery. I truly owe so much of my progress to Sean’s intuitive wisdom and gift of healing. I strongly recommend Chinese Medicine of Idaho as a part of your healing process. Sean is a true blessing to have in our community.

If you’re not looking for the best time of your life while learning how to drive, then PLEASE avoid Rob at all costs. Seriously. Who wants a driving instructor who actually makes parallel parking less terrifying and throws in sarcasm smoother than a freshly paved road?? Not me, obviously. Rob is way too good at what he does—like HELLOOO, who told him to be helpful and hilarious?? Pick a struggle please sir. Every lesson was filled with just the right mix of “if you were thinking, you wouldn’t have thought that” energy and “beautiful work, this is why you are the favorite” support. It’s like being roasted and mentored all at once. A literal life skill and a comedy show?? Again, too much.
Honestly, I wouldn’t even dare to put a price on his class—because it’s priceless, duh. The sarcasm? Chef’s kiss. The encouragement? Unmatched. The driving skills? He practically downloaded them into my brain. (Now I critique my own parents haha!)
So yeah, if you like laughing while learning, feeling safe behind the wheel, and not getting bored while figuring out roundabouts—Rob’s your guy. But beware: you will miss him when it’s over. IDAHO DRVING SCHOOL FOR THE WIN! (Rob likes powdered donuts, and I’m the favorite so if he tells you one day that you are the favorite, he is lying).

No pressure from them and tailored to my skill set. Jason and Kelly took the time needed to help me be not only proficient but well qualified to start driving. Passed my test the first time!
