Very courteous and professional staff. Unlike my prior optometrist, I wasn’t overwhelmed by the smoker odor of my attending optometrist while in close proximity. While making the appointment, I asked to be placed on their cancellation list of one was available. Was immediately told of opening which I took. Everyone was pleasant and when required or needed, very informative. Nice atmosphere, clean and well kept.
Ron repaired a large part of our flood after water damage. The only wood I could find was used, and in bad shape. He fixed the damaged wood pieces and made them look like new and then repaired the floor. It looked brilliant. He also made a hardwood/carpet transition piece from wood that we needed to cover the hardwood edge after we removed a bedroom wall. We could not get anything bid enough or anywhere close to the right colour, so he made it. It looked fantastic. Excellent workmanship, reasonable prices and very nice people.

We needed built a 40’x60’ pickleball court with a basketball hoop. Both my kids play basketball and this is the best way for them to be able to practice.

Ryan did a great job on our shower! We had him replace the shower pan and tile the walls with a niche. He did exactly what we wanted and it looks amazing. We will definitely use Ryan again for more of our future remodel.

I've had multiple chiropractors (having moved around the country a fair amount) and Dr. Adams is absolutely one of the best. From the first appointment I felt heard and like I was in good hands. He took the time to explain the cause of the back pain I was having and how we'd treat it. I was feeling much better in no time, and continue to go for regular adjustments. I always come out feeling fantastic. The ladies at the front desk, Tomi and Jessica, are also wonderful. Super nice, helpful, and so welcoming. I can't recommend this practice enough!
Taylor is so professional and accommodating to my schedule! She’s very good and precise at her lash extensions and made sure mine look completely light and natural with just the right amount of oomph - not like I have large caterpillars on my eyes! IYKYK!!

Jami is amazing. A wonderful person, easy to talk to - and faster than any barber I've ever been to! I'm 41 years old, so that's saying a lot. She nailed my request - I barely have to comb my hair now, it sits so naturally, even though I'm going bald - she made it such that I don't have to look like I'm "hiding" my baldness. Good stuff, she knows what she's talking about. Just remember that the place looks like a house on the side of Star Rd. Very reasonable pricing and I was able to get in rather quickly; although appointments are always appreciated, as I am told. I found my new haircut joint.
I normally do my own home maintenance and repairs, but sometimes I get too busy with everything else. So I decided to call a professional to replace our old water heater. Cherry plumbing was one of three bids and was the best price and very quick with his site survey and bid. Installation went very smoothly and quickly.
I then called them again for a shower repair and sink replacement we needed done quickly. They made arrangements for a Saturday install to meet our needs and did a great job. A+ work!

Josh Biggs is owner of Citadel Roofing & Construction. Beginning April 2025, he and his crew reroofed my 20 year old house with high ceilings, it is a very large roof with a steep 11/12 roof pitch. Josh showed up every day and worked alongside his crew of 6 workers. He is very skilled at roofing and construction and made recommendations that improved on what was already there. He is a good communicator, who reported daily to me during this two week project. My house and surroundings were kept neat with clean-up daily.
Josh is reliable and has earned my trust and I am very pleased with the roofing job.

Always a great experience at the Les Schwab in Star! The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. I went in to get a price on tires that I knew would need to be ordered and they were able to get them delivered and installed the next morning, which was on Christmas Eve. I was greeted at my truck and they got the tire change started right away. I also asked if they could do a suspension check, which they gladly did, and found a couple issues which I suspected, so I will be returning to take care of those soon.
