After moving here three years ago from the mountains, I had been on a seemingly endless search for a talented, reliable, and reasonably priced hairdresser. Losing my longtime stylist back home left some big shoes to fill—and I wasn’t sure I’d ever find someone who truly “got” my hair.

I'm relatively new to the area and had all my regulars back in LA so, I was hesitant to select blindly. Yes, I'm a bit picky ;). The reviews were great and it was already 3pm on Saturday. I walked into Visions Barbershop just as Andrew as finishing and waved me over. He was able to fit me in before his next client as I wanted a trim. I did have 2-3 selfies to give him an idea. Very calm, kind, fun to chat with but also focused. When he was nearly done, he turned me around to look in the mirror. It looked almost better than what I'd had in LA. I've found a new regular and am very satisfied. Give him a chance! Great place/great location with easy parking. Vibe inside is relaxed, calm, quiet background music and nice big window into the courtyard. I was fortunate to get in. I'll book an appointment next time for hair and beard. Price was so reasonable.

I have been to a couple of nail salons in the Palm Springs and Palm Desert area and I must say that The Nail Gallery is the one place that feels like home. The quality service, excellent communication, professional and art that they create is a wonderful experience that is sure to have you as a repeat customer. Vu is amazing and great at remembering names of clientele. If there is one place you should look into for a pedicure or manicure, this is it! Take my word for it! Dana is amazing with providing an excellent pedicure.

The owners, a lovely gentleman and lady, have been serving the community for over 30 years, and their experience shines through. I've struggled to find someone in the Coachella Valley who truly understands hard gel fills, but Nails Today exceeded my expectations. They have the knowledge and expertise to do it right! I'm already planning my next visit for a pedicure. Highly recommend!

Leyna was a gentle touch with my superb deluxe pedicure of paraffin wax and callous removal. She was relentless in targeting areas on my feet that really needed help. The place was clean and very sanitary with massage chairs and well lit surroundings. All employees were hard working and attentive to their customers. I would highly recommend a pedicure from this place, and if you can, requesting Leyna.

She took the time to sit down with me and really listen to what I wanted. We deepened the overall color and added lowlights to tone down the brassy highlights — the result was exactly what I had in mind.
Nicole also gave me the haircut I’ve been trying to get for ages but was never able to achieve with previous stylists. I really appreciated how she checked in with me throughout the appointment to make sure we were on the same page.

Jessica Conner at Livia lashes is without a doubt the very best! She really cares about her clients’ needs and expectations. She is so accommodating with her scheduling and she is absolutely the sweetest thing ever! My lashes look spectacular! I get compliments all the time. This last service lasted a full month while I was traveling! Usually lasts about 3 weeks but they were still looking good at a month! I highly recommend Jessica. I’ve used her for a couple of years now I think. I had a few nightmare fills at other places here in the desert before finding her.
Kim is the only eye lash artist who has never hurt my sensitive eyes. She is so fast too. She is the best ever!!!!! Great at brows too !
Agim has been doing my hair for 15+ years. I live in WA and save my hair cuts for my trips to Palm Springs (2-3x a year), I've tried to find someone comparable... it's just never the same. Last weekend was my first brow appointment with Flor and it was such an amazing experience! I was so intimidated by the idea of going to someone who specializes in waxing since I have spent so many years going to nail salons for the service since it's cheap and something easy you can walk-in and do. I was worried that whoever I went to next would judge me (and my brows), but that was not that case at all!When I arrived to the Benefit section of Macy's I was greeted by the sweetest sales person at the counter who let me know Flor would be right back. (I was a few minutes early because I was nervous!) Flor arrived within seconds and was so kind and welcoming. I knew right away that I made the right decision to book an appointment with her! She introduced herself and asked me a little bit about my previous experience with Benefit, previous experience with waxing/threading, and then asked about my skin. I think it's incredibly thorough of her to start an appointment with an understanding of her client's skin. That's something that I had never experience before!Then, Flor started mapping out where the start, end, and peak of the brow should be based on my face structure and nose. This part was so much fun for me because it was a learning experience for me as well as a way for her to let me know what my brows can look like if I continue visiting Benefit's Brow Bar. We discussed the goals I have for my brows (symmetry, symmetry, symmetry!!) and she let me know her exact plan of action before even mixing the wax. 5 STARS RIGHT HERE ALONE!Flor proceeded to start the waxing process and it went over very well. She managed to do the waxing, AND walk me through any changes in posture or head movement to help get the right angles, AND ALSO ask me questions about who I am and what I do. It was incredible! It made me feel welcomed in the space, made me feel confident about what my brows would look like, and helped build that sense of community that is often lacking at other brow establishments. I am incredibly happy with how my brows came out. We have a plan on how to get them where I want them to be over time, but I understand that it's a process since I am hoping to get a bit of hair growth back. And we were able to get my next appointment on the books at a time that works for me. Overall, an incredible experience! I recommended Flor and the Benefit Brow Bar at Macy's for anyone looking to FIX THEIR BROW GAME! I'm so excited to see her next month!

This is a very very cute day spa. The staff are amazing and welcoming. I've been to MANY day spas and I have never been greeted with a personalized gift, and a welcoming sign with my name. I had to take a picture, it was adorable!! My esthetician was great. The only thing I didn't like about it is each service provides the bare minimum. I've had my fair share of facials, Micros, etc. Here there are add-ons, so you're pretty much paying for each thing separately while I'm used to at least 2-3 of these add-ons being part of each service. With the exception of that, this place is absolutely amazing!!

We had A plumbing problem that involved our kitchen sink. Our regular plumber tried to unclog it, but was unable to do so. Carlos came and used his heavy duty equipment as well as a camera to assess what the problem was and where it was and was able to clean out the pipe completely! He was professional and let us know what was happening all along the way. He showed us the results and it was truly amazing to see an absolutely clean pipe ? we can now use our kitchen again and know that the problem has been completely resolved. This was the 2nd time I have called See the Light. I have been very pleased with the service. Mike came just 20 minutes after I called this last time. He found a wall plug that had short circuited and had caused the loss of electricity to my furnace. He was courteous and friendly and his charge was extremely reasonable. We had two can lights go out inside our home and could not get them to turn on again. A friend recommended Bradley Electric so I called and spoke to Lisa in the office. She was able to send out a electrician by the name of Larry who diagnosed the problem and was able to repair it. Larry did the job in a timely manner and he worked clean and he was also professional and polite. The next time that I need a electrician I will definitely call Bradley Electric. We are thoroughly pleased with the kitchen remodel we received from Van Slyke Construction. Dwight, Willy and the team were great to work with! They took the time to listen and were quick to respond whenever we reached out. They were excellent after work was completed in clean up and follow up.
The end product is beautiful -- really beautiful! We had ORD replace our main bathroom cabinets sinks and faucets. What was a 1-2 week job as noted in the contract turned out to be way longer. No complaints on the workmanship but Octavio (the owner) desperately needs a little help in project management. This took way longer than I expected. I suggested to him to keep his customers informed. If there are delays -- OK -- but show the order dates and then corresponding proof of delays . Don't start the demo April 1 and then not install the new cabinets until May 16. Octavio made up for mishaps with discounts and things thrown in -- some of which I was unaware were my costs, which he then covered. He did offer a free cabinet over the toilet and roll-out shelving for the doors under the sinks, plus the cabinet pulls. That was generous. My advice to future customers: YES USE ORD but stipulate deadlines in the contract with consequences for not meeting them. Also ask to be outlined in the contract what are the customers' responsibilities as far as buying parts and their costs. Be prepared to prompt Octavio for updates. He responds very quickly. Octavio said he wanted my bathroom project to show the end-product in order to attain the other bathroom remodels and to do my kitchen, but I cannot be without a kitchen for 2 months. Yes -- an impressive end-product. We love it. I'd love to see what he can do for my kitchen, but in a more timely manner.

Since I'm a snowbird Purchase Green offered to bring samples to our HOA to approve the project and they did everything remotely and put me in touch with the water district to obtain a rebate which further lowered my cost. The whole project was made simple as our HOA is very familiar with their work and they were able to replace my lawn in a days work. Been going to Total Care Dentistry for the last 6 years. The office is a very smooth running machine. I love the staff and hygienists, that’s primarily why I stuck with them. Look, there are A LOT of dentists offices in the desert that are franchises of large conglomerates with poor service, sales pressure and high hygienist turnover. Dr. Kim’s office is an independent business and Dr. Kim cares for his patients and staff as a small business owner. Dr. Daddio retired, and he was a good general dentist so I was sad to see him go, but Dr. Kim has continued in that spirit and the office still does good work.

Dr. Anthony and Justin worked so hard with compassionate determination to relieve me of excruciating pain. This place saved my life. I injured my mid-back, which I had never had problems with before. I tried 4 different chiropractors trying to get help as I could no longer stand up straight without pain. I saw Hathaway Chiropractic on an ad on TV. I thought "I must be desperate; I am thinking of trying a doctor on TV". I am so glad I did. The doctor first took an x-ray, which none of the other doctor's did. He discovered that I had compression fractures in 2 of the vertebrae in my mid back. He discussed the course of treatment. I was shocked at the cost and the 10 week commitment, but, as I said, I was desperate. Thank God I decided to go through with it. After the first 2 treatments on the decompression machine followed by gentle manipulation, I already started feeling SO much better! It was like a miracle. I went through the entire 10 weeks and by the end I was a changed person. I now go back once a month just to keep "tuned up". My only worry now is that Dr Hathaway will retire!
The treatment has been beneficial to my situation. I am a regular hiker

I was in desperate need of an adjustment and assistance after waking up to a stiff neck while on travel. Dr Haberkorn was referred by several folks at my yoga studio and was so attentive in listening educating and healing. Dr. Jaudy is a true healer!! I really can’t even write a review that would properly express how wonderful he is! I have been to at least a dozen specialists all over the country and no one has even come close to Dr. Jaudy. After 15 months of disabling vertigo after eating just about anything (even blueberries, tomatoes, black beans, beef, etc) I can finally eat food again without “spinning out”!! Which is a miracle, really!! He also helped me figure out where my issues are coming from (my liver, gallbladder, intestines, autonomic nervous system, and VOR) whereas no other doctor was able to figure any of this out for me. I spent nearly 15-20 hours in treatments with Dr Jaudy himself and I could not be more grateful for his level of care, compassion, and incredible amount of knowledge when it comes to the human body. Unfortunately Dr. Gaulin passed away in May or June 2020. He was one of the best chiropractors I had ever seen. He will be missed.

First time visit with Mary Hall was a great experience. My cat is having issues with over grooming and she was quickly able to diagnose that it was probably a food allergy. My baby was less than thrilled to be at the vet (spicy spice) and her team was able to handle him so that he could get his examination quickly. I appreciated that she said that it was probably a food allergy when she could’ve pushed for expensive skin testing and or blood tests when it seems to not be necessary. Otis went home with a new prescription food and some ointment, and also some calming meds for his next visit and I would say the price was extremely fair. I will be bringing him & his brother here for future treatments.

This was a wonderful experience, having my dog groomed here! The atmosphere is so calm with all the dogs finding a spot either in the window seat on puffy dog beds or just hanging out. Never seen anything like it. I took my baby poodle there and besides coming out Perfectly beautiful, She was spunky and very proud of herself! This was the best experience ever Courtney is an amazing Groomer! I have found my new spot for my four dogs!

Amazing pilates studio! I’ve been doing pilates for several years + I’m a certified instructor as well, however, I do not teach since I travel for other work. That being said, I’ve taken pilates in a plethora of cities in North America and Chiropilates is on top of my list for one of the best classes I’ve had in years. I took two classes with Dr. Richard while in town - such a creative & effective full body flow. For awhile, I was worried pilates wasn’t doing much for me anymore but his classes proved me wrong! Seems like a great community of people too! Other clients spoke very highly of the studio & the rest of instructors.

She knows how to work it so my hips are not so tight. unfortunately, I work long days at the computer and not enough stretching. This place is absolutely amazing if you want to treat yourself. I always leave feeling refreshed, the prices are great, and the people running it really do care. They’re doing a great job running the place and make it a pleasure every time! The float and the infrared sauna/cold plunge are my go-tos. Both are very healing if you have any stress in your life. Hi! I receive massages and sound healing from Billy and have been for over two years. He is amazing. He knows by his expert trained touch just where all the knots are, concrete as he kids me, in my case. I walk in, often slightly slower because I waited too long between appointments. We both know what that means. A little pain at the beginning for the amazing results when I walk out, smiling and remembering to schedule my next two week appointment so it’s a bit easier on both of us. The sound bath is amazing though I admit to often falling asleep since he has now gotten my muscles to relax so they respond better for the remainder of my session. I can’t imagine going anywhere else!

When I was 24, I suddenly developed several health issues: neuromuscular scoliosis, gastritis, fatty liver disease, anxiety, depression, and daily nausea ? that left me vomiting every day. My doctors prescribed omeprazole and then pantoprazole ?, but I was still sick and miserable. After six months of doing everything I was told with little relief, I decided to try another way ? and that is when I found Dr. Kim’s acupuncture.
After just my first session, my nausea completely disappeared ✨. I was amazed. Even my driving anxiety ??, something I did not even come in for, was gone. I had a torn rotator cuff in my left shoulder, and it was very painful. I researched the internet for a qualified acupuncturist and found June. In addition to the shoulder problem, I was having severe digestive issues (GERD) and some liver problems. The first time I went to her office in Palm Desert I could hardly walk up the short two flights of stairs to get to her clinic. Not I can walk up and down in a bris and normal fashion. June immediately went to work on my issues and the shoulder tear is healed without surgery, my digestive problems are almost completely healed, and my liver is well on its way to recovery. June is not only skilled at acupuncture but is also very knowledgeable and experienced at ancient Chinese forms of medicine and healing. I am not a true believer in miracles' but what she accomplished for me is nothing short of a miracle. I have recommended several friends to her and they all speak very highly of her skills. I would recommend that anyone looking for an alternative form of healing (as opposed to drugs with devastating side effects) seek her out. You will not be disappointed.
