Want to go out of my way to compliment the great service I got today from one of Al Scott’s after-hours locksmiths, Mark. Very professional: on time, upfront, great at his job, quick, no damage or mess, and an overall nice guy. Highly recommend him (and, by extension, Al Scott) for any locksmith service.

Kelly at the Richmond location gave us excellent service. We also had the opportunity to see her interactions with another customer. Same good service with lots of patience. Her care about covid19 protocol was also very good.

Kelly @ Richmond shop is nice, professional and knowledgeable. She knows what is wrong with my lock, how is this particular lock brand, what my options are and how to fix it. Great service and very swift. Will recommend to friends.

Al Scott Lock & Safe Ltd. was started in Vancouver from the ground up in 1973. The first service truck was a 1963 GMC pickup truck with a homemade camper that served as the shop. The business was started by Allan and his wife Eileen Scott. Al saw the need for a locksmith company in Vancouver that could provide professional solutions—specifically master key systems for commercial buildings—while keeping accurate files of the codes for the convenience of the building management.
