Glad I called them! Needed a dog run built at the back of our house called Top Notch fenceing Clay came out and came up with a plan then sent me a quote we made sure we were on the same page and I told Clay let's do it. The following Monday Josh arrived with Ty and Zack they unloaded supplies and started putting in fence post. By the end of the day all the fence post were in and the area was completely cleaned up! The following day they arrived and started putting everything together even incorporating a ten foot by ten foot kennel we had to save us money. By the end of the day the job was all done the area was immaculately cleaned! Ty even took the time to greet our new rescue! Very impressive the new dog run looks fantastic! Now our rescue is enjoying all the room she needs! Thank you Josh Ty and Zack for a job well done! We had never used before but Georgina fit my mom in on really short notice as she had company coming - her and the two other girls with her were fantastic, they all did a great job in really good time and my mom already wants to have them back another time to do a deeper clean of walls and baseboards - they are kind and efficient with a good work ethic, we are very happy with them!
Drew and his crew at Starke Contracting LTD were great to deal with. They were professional, punctual, and most of all, they were personable. Drew met with us to discuss our project (remodelling a shed, and building our dream deck), and not only was he able to turn our ideas into a physical reality, he added some beautiful touches of his own. I am very happy I found Tomas as my last handiman passed away and I despaired of finding anyone I trusted as much. Tomas is professional and diligent - he keeps to his estimates, which are always fair. The two jobs I hired him for: drywalling for a new half-bathroom and refitting an old window wall for a new smaller window, included unexpected extra work that he anticipated and took care of without fuss or bother. He is a pleasure to have around: cheerful and friendly. I would recommend Tomas without reservation for any work he takes on.

Canpro Deck & Rail in Nanaimo recently renovated our large deck. My wife and I are very pleased with the result and experience. Our project was reasonably priced, the workmanship excellent and professional.
We are very pleased the outcome! Owner was professional from start to finish. He was very responsive as we added on a small amount after the original quote and it was no problem. He and his team did all the drywall repairs and painting. We asked him to come back for some small touch ups in the evening and it was done by 9:30 the next morning. He explained the quality of the paint, helped with colour choices and cleaned up all through the process. Price was fair and the quality of the work shows. The Chaleys and their crew have been there for us through two renovations on our original home. An exterior renovation and a couple of years later, a kitchen reno. Then there was a basement flood and they redid the storm drains and repaired the interior damage.
Now that we have downsized they have done all of the necessary work to upgrade and renovate the kitchen and main bath. They took great care all the way through.
The kitchen needed gutted and the skylight replaced. The main room, a great room space is now painted and is beautiful and bright.
They turned a small shed into the perfect yarn storage and recorded and painted our deck. We can happily settle into our retirement space thanks to Mike and Lavona.
Chris and his team did an amazing and thorough job cleaning my suite. It turned out to be a bigger job yet he was able to fit me in to his schedule. He went above and beyond and was extremely responsive , detailed and customer - focused. Excellent communication , great preparation and updates along the way. This is my 2nd time using his team and I won’t hesitate to call him again. Thx Chris and Team.

In a new light, and marvel at his handsome appearance!
So he’s a much happy troll, and he’s moved uptown, to take up residence under a much nicer bridge!

It was my first time going to aura to get my hair done and it’s safe to say that I’ve never been happier with a stylist and results! My hair is very dark and has been dyed many many times, I reached out to stylist Kylee and sent her my inspo. Kylee did an amazing job and going over my wants, needs, and absolute no’s for this hair and even booked me in for a consultation and test strand to see what I could lift to! After that she had let me know it wouldn’t be exactly like the inspo I wanted but she was able to find something like I loved way more. During my appointment Kylee made sure I knew what was happening every step of the way and made sure I was always comfortable.

We have been seeing Leah for a couple of years. My daughter sees her for full blonde and I see her for grey blending. Both of us had a history of damage due to colouring but Leah has fixed us up and we are both so happy with our hair.
I went in for a 60 minute deep tissue massage with Gaia and she was lovely. She is very kind and caring and makes sure you’re comfortable the whole time. She will focus on whatever areas you prefer to have worked on and really gets into the tense spots. Highly recommend!

I booked a 90-minute full body relaxation massage while in town for vacation. The experience was excellent. The spa is is comfortable and welcoming. The staff are friendly and attention. My massage therapist Drea was so pleasant and skilled. The whole experience left me relaxed and rejuvenated, just as i had hoped. I highly recommend them and will return here again the next time I am in town.

I've seen AJPH vans around town for decades and now I needed one. I wasn't strong enough to use the 30ft snake for the washer drain, especially with the angle. The service guy was very friendly, prompt, experienced and courteous and he brought a better tool. Neighbourly is a good word. Also, a quote from one of their competitors was $100 more and it's still not cheap.
It has been great working with JD, and we highly recommend his services. JD did several jobs at our home (installed a heat pump, ERV system, hot water heat pump, laundry sink, ductwork), all with quality of work. He is very professional, personable, and takes pride in what he does. JD would make sure everything was running smoothly. If there was anything that wasn't quite right, he would look into it, find a solution, and make sure he left it running perfectly. He even came back weeks later for another job and noticed we got some debris in our ERV system, and he cleaned it out for us. Thanks, JD! He provided great recommendations and would keep to his word about timing and follow-through. Overall, a great guy, professional, knowledgeable, and strong work ethic. Do not hesitate to call him.

I am very impressed with the level of service and workmanship from Four Clover Electric LTD. I recently contacted them to install a 240 volt circuit for my new duel fuel GE Profile range. They completed the installation in no time and the completely finished project was left clean and completely to my satisfaction. I highly recommend Clover Electric LTD.

The circuit kept tripping the fuse in my livingroom and kitchen. I could not run the microwave, air conditioner and the livingroom lights at the same time as they were all on the same circuit.
I contacted Colin at CNA Electric who had installed overhead lights for me a few years a go. He immediately got back to me and arranged an appointment for Daniel to come over and assess the situation.
Daniel located an existing dedicated microwave circuit that had been used previously prior to kitchen renovations where the microwave location had been moved at that time.
He extended this circuit by installing armored cable under the cabinets and into the range hood cupboard where he installed a new receptical to accommodate the current microwave location with a dedicated circuit.
After the installation was complete and he had cleaned up the area, Daniel explained to me the location of all the circuit breaker switches in the box.
I highly recommend this company for reliability, professionalism and skill.

Purchased a new house recently, had some extension cords running the garage door openers to the socket on the ceiling, that needed to be replaced with individual sockets, and I needed another socket added to the far wall in the garage for internet hook up. Finally, there was no light wired-in in the master bedroom. McKenzie did it all for me. He responded to my initial request for a quote in a couple hours, or less, even, and was able to come to the house, and give me the quote for the job the same day. I'm very pleased with the results of the job. Will remember K-Lou Electric for future projects!
I needed a heat pump disconnect, and some rewiring in the bathroom, and had a great experience with Den Mar. Scott did our quote and was very thorough and gave us some different options to choose from, and Kyle and Jude did an excellent job on the work. Very Happy with Westcore! We recently had new countertops put in our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. So plumbing hook-ups were a must to complete the job. Both bathrooms also had sink plumbing that needed to be upgraded. Well, Adam from Westcore did an absolutely splendid job. We experienced a power failure caused by faulty equipment on Christmas eve and the electrician we called could only restore single phase giving us a few lights but no heat or stove to cook Christmas dinner. He recommended we call Houle but he wasn't optimistic that they could respond on Christmas eve. Not only did they answer, one of their electricians who lives nearby was here within the hour. He went out of his way to find a solution so we had full power (and heat) for Christmas. Thank you and Merry Christmas to all the staff at Houle.

I recommend this company to clean stair carpets. They communicated really well leading up to the appointment and did a great job on ours. They did require a water outlet on the outside so it was lucky that we had one easily available. Would have been good to check that beforehand so they could prepare. Minor point, great job, will get them in again to do more.

Before we moved in to our home, almost 10 years ago, we steam-cleaned all of the tile floors and thought they were clean. Recently Simply Best changed that assumption by cleaning away what we previously had thought were variations in the tile in one of our bathrooms. Instead, over 30 years of grime from previous owners was removed to create a magnificent transformation! WELL DONE, SIMPLY BEST!

Terry and Deveraux are just great guys. I first got to know their work when I was at VIU, where they were doing some impressive renovations - taking tired old theatres and turning them into top-tier spaces. The quality was always high-end.
Since then, I’ve had them help out with a project at my own business, converting an overhead door into a mandoor. They did an excellent job, and were super easy to work with; lighthearted, down-to-earth, and professional.

5 Starts to Maxx Contracting! We had a large rotted-out 400 sq ft deck. The beams were good, but the joists, deck boards, facing boards, some lattice all needed replacing, and we also wanted to modify the entry and stairs to allow wheelbarrow passage.
Spencer lead the project and was fantastic to work with, and even raised the bar on an already nicely designed deck. He and Mike worked efficiently and consultation throughout was encouraged.
We are so pleased with Deck 2.0 - pressure-treated wood, clean lines, routered edges, hidden fasteners. The new stair design is better than we had originally envisioned, the new 6'x3' gate is solidly hung and perfectly weighted. On time and on budget. Thank-you Maxx Contracting! I’ve dealt with this company for over 30 years. Each and every time I needed them they are quick to respond and resolve the problem. Excellent customer service, knowledgeable employees and fair pricing. Woke up this morning and the house was freezing cold due to the furnace breaking down. I called their office at 8:00am and Ken had technician at my home before 9:00am. It’s 11:40am and the technician is all done. Heat back up and running, furnace fan replaced ! Under three hours to source the parts required and installed. Five star service. Awesome job guys. Thank you !

We had a leak in the copper pipes in the family room ceiling that when discovered had caused more damage than we could have imagined. Our insurance adjuster and Doug Bates met and assessed the damage and assured me that everything would get fixed ,and look better than before . The tradespeople that did the repairs were exceptional in that they were here when they said, called before they came and worked solid til their part of the job was done. The job required removal of furniture and damaged flooring, plumbing, drywalling, painting, flooring. All the trades were quick , professional and friendly. He and his team did a lot of little extra things that weren't included in the quote, and I was pleasantly surprised when the final bill was actually slightly less than quoted. We've already arranged for Island Eco-Scapes to do regular upkeep through the summer and fall and I'm pretty sure we'll be talking to him about a few special projects. Strain Landscaping has provided multiple services in our backyard renovation. They created a patio with drainage, levelled a large sloped yard into two sections - a large lawn with landscaping beds and a garden with raised beds, and installed irrigation for the whole yard. Just had Eucalyptus Tree Services attend to our old Laurel Hedge, it had gotten too wide and needed to be topped. Ivan came and gave us a quote and his crew, Lucas and Avery came the very next day and performed the service. Hedge looks so much better now and we have already booked them to return to do the other side of the yard. The boys were very careful not to damage any roses or other plants near the hedge and they cleaned up after their work. We would highly recommend Eucalyptus Tree Services for landscaping needs.

This is my favorite therapy clinic, mainly because of Ms. Stephanie, my acupuncturist. I visit every month for pain in my back and calves, and with her help, I’ve been steadily improving and able to maintain my condition.
The front desk staff are also very friendly and helpful, and they always let me know if an earlier appointment becomes available. I’m very grateful for the care and service I receive here!

I started seeing Shirley when I was experiencing random food sensitivities that would come and go. She was very thorough in the first visit and asked about symptoms I had that I didn't realize were symptoms but were all connected to the same issues. I've been seeing her regularly for teas, moxibustion and acupuncture treatments. She's helped me almost completely get rid of anxiety and back pain as well as balancing my menstrual cycles. Shirley is patient and caring and very knowledgeable about the body and TCM. She's really helped me see my body and health in a holistic way and understand why the symptoms come up. I have had opportunities to know the magic of accupuncture and for a person with medical training, it really does seem like magic in that results can be felt within the same day of a treatment, especially with Willa.
I recently had a swollen lymph node along my jawline that receded within hours of a treatment. I have also had immediate effect on muscle related low back pain. I think that the treatment works by decreasing inflammation and restoring blood flow to the painful area. I find Willa to be empathetic, gentle and warm. She truly cares about my emotional well being as well as my physical symptoms. I count Willa as part of my healthcare team. Team Laura!

He gave great feedback on driving tips, key safety skills that improved his confidence behind the wheel and helped him pass his road test the first time. We booked a road test from a cancellation, and on short notice he was very accommodating and quick to return texts. I would recommend him for lessons.
