“Eye lash extensionsThis woman is amazing! I wasn't too happy with my Hybrids, they were a bit much for me, and Flo said if I wasn't 100% happy to let her know. It was hard for me but I did let her know. She was magnificent! She encouraged me to be honest. She explained the process with me and I learned so much. I decided to have her remove few lashes to mellow it out for me. (I'm 59 and kind of new to this) I walked away so happy. I just love this woman. I love my lashes and will be going back! Thanks Flo!“

As well as I love the idea of removing shoes and wearing slippers, as it is wet outside. Nanaimo doesn’t have many stylish beauty studios, however Van Isle Beauty Bar is the best. “Katrina has been doing my gel manis for about 6 months and she is amazing! She does a dry mani (files the polish off vs soak off) and I was worried at first because I had a bad nail tech somewhere else eventually file off so much of my nail bed that my fingers hurt and I had to wait a year to grow them out. Katrina's dry manis are excellent and my nails are still healthy. She takes the time to file off every rough bit on my fingers too so that I am less inclined to pick at them later : ) Her cuticle work is perfect, and polish and any nail art is precise and flawless. My nails always still look great after several weeks.“
