Everything about Kerry and his BNB and massage is Zen. He is an amazing host at his cozy suite, with no amenity lacking. This is the 5th or 6th time we've enjoyed his hospitality, but this trip I booked a massage as well. He found knots that I didn't even know I had. We live in the Interior of BC, and I think my next visit to the Island will be just for the massage (and, of course, to see Kerry!)
Late the other evening my son was passing through Cassidy on a road trip and had an issue with his truck. Knowing no one in the area and having to be somewhere, he dropped it in these guys’ yard and hoped for the best- leaving me to deal with them.
They called me early next day to let me know they were booked for the next 3 weeks but would do what they could which is all I could ask.
They called me mid afternoon having fixed it. No, it wasn’t a massive job- thankfully just a seized caliper, but their willingness to ‘make it work’ and at a price that was more than reasonable was sooo appreciated.
I wouldn’t think twice about using them again.
Dens has done several repairs for me over the years. Always professional quality and friendly service.
Yaros is my trusty mechanic. I have brought in different vehicles through years to him, and always happy with the service and cost. Please note that this is a single man shop, so he won’t take in your vehicle right away. You need to schedule a visit and it may be weeks away, but you won’t regret the results.

I had an amazing experience with Shane’s. They were able to take my truck that wasn’t running, diagnose and order the parts and had it running again in no time! They kept me updated on how things were going and charged a very reasonable price. The lady at the desk is also extremely kind and knowledgeable! The owners of this club have created an incredible community atmosphere that is difficult to achieve. From the cleanliness of the facility to the level of care they take in properly introducing their members to the unique and effective training culture of Crossfit. Ladysmith is lucky to have a Crossfit gym of this calibre. ? ????
We just called about our heat pump not working, and they were able to send someone first thing the following morning. Mark and Kennedy were absolutely amazing to deal with. They found the problem literally within minutes of looking at the unit, were able to get a new part, and had the heat pump back up and running within 45 min. We've used Ladysmith Heating and Plumbing before, will definitely be using them in the future, and would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Adele is wonderful. Her salon is spotless and welcoming, she does a great job with my hair ( that seems to have it's own idea how to look ) and she's friendly and reasonably priced on top of it all. Happy to recommend her!

Wanted to share my great experience here with julia! I had nearly sworn off hair salons after so many disappointing appointments never getting what I wanted or feeling *heard*... Julia listened and made great suggestions that would work with my hair rather than against it and gave the best haircut ive ever had! Also the receptionist was very helpful and friendly, the salon is adorable and I felt it was a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back! :)

Chandell did an amazing job fixing it with highlights and toned it to perfectly match my extentions. Then she cut them both with layers to give a natural look. Not to mention a relaxing little head massage. These ladies are amazing. Thank you!
You want a good hair cut and a good chat for your money, go here. If you're a stuck up prick, go an hour early and grab a beer next door to relax. Nothing but good things to say about this place. I promise, you will get a good cut. If you don't enjoy the experience that is definitely on you and you're better off experiencing many of the other amazing hair salons in Ladysmith.
Busy shop. Did a service on my truck. Mechanic was super friendly. Great to deal with. Will be using them as my main servicing shop now.
