“We came home to find a major water issue in our home from a failed appliance. After dealing with insurance I received a call from Brittany Martin, a Project Manager from BELFOR within 10 minutes. She was onsite within 30 minutes and her first team member within 15. Her entire team was onsite and responding within 40 minutes.

For my wife and I this was such a relief, the water source was contained and we had this amazing team taking charge and reducing our stress almost immediately. All water damaged materials were removed and dehumidifiers in place and functional within 5 hours and remained in place until Blaine was convinced that the moisture measurements from their advanced tools indicated we were in good shape and we wouldn't have any mold issues.

Their asset documentation team was onsite the following morning, documented damaged and irreparable contents and removed them, collected all other water soaked items, stuffies, kids toys, bedding, rugs etc. and had them dry cleaned and then stored for the duration of the repair.

Throughout the balance of the process, Brittany was an invaluable resource, having knowledge of the insurance process, being the liaison to Family Insurance and providing Nicole and I with guidance as well as interacting with third party companies for inspections and quotes, she was truly a game changer.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with the BEFLOR Nanaimo team during our unfortunate time :-) In particular a big shoutout to Brittany Martin, Blaine Monahan and their entire team of first responders who got us through a tough time!

“We hired Smart Site to do interior work on a house. In addition Andrew discovered there wasn't enough insulation in the attic and it was causing our roofs to fail prematurely. We had put in 3 roofs in 23 years. Not a good record for a roof. Yet the previous roofers never sorted out the problem. This job did not benefit Smart Site. The job was for another roofer. Andrew cares. He was helping us out as homeowners, not just looking out for himself and what money he could make. Another company quoted us over $15,000 to do what Andrew did for $5000. He recommended a realtor for us that was excellent and coordinated with the realtor. The house sold within a month during a pandemic. It doesn't get much better than that. We highly recommend Andrew. A most trustworthy guy. A good communicator. Great guy. 5 stars are not enough for this guy. He is the best!!!!“
