“We hired Smart Site to do interior work on a house. In addition Andrew discovered there wasn't enough insulation in the attic and it was causing our roofs to fail prematurely. We had put in 3 roofs in 23 years. Not a good record for a roof. Yet the previous roofers never sorted out the problem. This job did not benefit Smart Site. The job was for another roofer. Andrew cares. He was helping us out as homeowners, not just looking out for himself and what money he could make. Another company quoted us over $15,000 to do what Andrew did for $5000. He recommended a realtor for us that was excellent and coordinated with the realtor. The house sold within a month during a pandemic. It doesn't get much better than that. We highly recommend Andrew. “The water tubing behind our fridge sprung a leak and before we finally noticed it, the wood flooring in our kitchen warped and the seams separated. After shutting off the water, we called Belfor and they came out and removed the damaged flooring and placed dryers to dry out the waterlogged subfloor.Peter Lindkvist, the project manager of Belfor, came out and explained what would be involved with replacing the flooring. Unfortunately, the solid maple flooring was 15 years old and extended from the kitchen into the dining room and living room and could not be matched with any type of replacement that would look good. Unfortunately all of the wood flooring would have to be replaced.Peter brought in Marty from United Floors Nanaimo to give an estimate for the replacement flooring and then Peter did all of the paper work to get insurance approval. Marty and Monica from United were both extremely helpful in showing us flooring options and help choosing a replacement flooring.The whole process went extremely smoothly. The Belfor workers were professional and efficient and first moved our furniture and appliances into the garage and then removed all of the flooring and baseboards. Tim from United did an outstanding floor installation and then the Belfor team came back and replaced baseboards and did any touchup painting. Then the furniture and appliances were put back in place.We could not be happier with the final result. The Belfor and United teams were exceptional. But what made the whole process as painless as possible was Peter from Belfor. He was extremely easy to deal with, always kept us up to date, answered all of our concerns, and explained everything that would be involved. “Pro-Pacifc have proven to be reliable and professional in helping us with a difficult situation, acting quickly and working with their established industry contacts to resolve the matter.During an Open House staged by EXP Realty early July, a vindictive neighbour or vicious strata council crony masquerading as a buyer entered our house and deliberately broke a panel of the ceramic wood fireplace doors - without which we cannot heat our house over winter.
