“I had a fireplace that was constantly sooting up, the flames always seemed too low in comparison to the advertised pictures since install and the soot would plug holes in the burner plates creating high and low spots. The install company and next service company “fixed” it but the problem came back within a few months. Phil from blue flame came over and identified the issue immediately. He carefully took my fireplace apart down to what seemed like 100 pieces and used super tiny drill bits to clean the holes where gas comes in. Vacuumed and cleaned the rest of the unit and even applied a new coat of high temp paint and cleaned the glass. Not only did it work perfectly and not soot up anymore. It looked new as well.
After he was done we looked at some options to add a heat pump to our house but I need to save up for that one as we don’t qualify for any of the income grants. Will definitely have blue flame do that work as well when it comes time“
