Seriously the best experience from the upscale chairs to the music to the champagne (I don’t drink) but for my daughter. I think I will come back to Charelston just for this experience alone! Ralph is the ?. He gives the best fades and fade-adjacent type haircuts in the county, and anybody will tell you this. (Maybe he does other stuff IDK.) Occasionally, I'll be traveling or need a haircut quickly and go see someone else ... I usually end up regretting it. I just barely moved to Charleston and was not happy about having to find a new barber as I’d had the same one for the past 8 years back home in Utah. I came crossed circa and gave it a try. I’m not one to leave reviews in fact I think this might be my first haha but Michael did such a damn good job! His attention to detail was amazing. Even though the hair style I was after was slightly different texture than my hair, he did his best layering and shaping my hair to make it work! I appreciate him and will definitely be coming back:)

For a first time spray tan I had the best experience with Heather of Lowcountry Bronze. I found the salon to be clean, open, and easy to find with ample parking spots. The door may be locked but Heather was ready to greet me at the door with such a welcoming energy. I felt shy and awkward at first but talking with her I felt more comfortable. You can dress to your comfort level. Prior to the spray, Heather went over the maintenance and tips for having a good tan. It should last about a week when you maintain it and follow the instructions. The spray process itself took about 10-15 mins, very fast. At the end you can use the blower tool to dry out the spray application. Booking was easy using the Vagaro website and Heather reached out as well to see if I had any further questions which I appreciated as a first timer. Overall loved the application process and the communication. Look forward to getting more comfortable with spray tans!

Tammy (Evans) does the BEST nails - I won’t go to anyone else actually. She’s such a pro and takes her time to make sure everything is perfect. She always paints a nail and then asks to make sure u like the color. I never have to ask for extra coats - if a polish is too translucent she adds more coats. I work in a labor intensive industry that’s hard on my hands and she makes sure my gel manicure lasts THREE weeks! She’s so sweet too. Grateful that I found her!
I walked in a few days ago after breaking my long nail that had split through the acrylic down to the bone, child! (Slight exaggeration to convey the pain of it!) But I sat with a kind lady nail tech who removed all my tips and did an overlay on my natural nails. That lady was so careful with my throbbing splintered thumbnail, earning the 5 stars right there. But it was the professionalism, cheerfulness, good conversation, and super fair pricing that got me! Very happy!!
This place is consistently great. The pedicures are some of the best on James or John's Island. Great value compared to other salons in the area. They are always very friendly and have had no issue getting in on the weekends without an appointment.

After searching for a very long time, I finally found the perfect salon. I absolutely adore Pink Polish. Everyone is so kind and inviting, not to mention phenomenal at their jobs.
But my favorite part of Pink Polish is my girl Vivian. None of my ideas are too out there or detailed for her! I love working with her to create nails that I love and for my style. She knows a thing or two about nail shapes and is also a joy to talk to.

Christina is a great sugar specialist and all around an amazing person as well. The overall care during the sugaring appointment is above the standard. The environment is clean and professional. I feel much more comfortable with her than with my previous wax specialist. Not only does my skin feel healthier I emotionally feel healthier after my appointment. The sweet experience Is more than just the sugaring, it is a caring environment that is 100% worth the monetary cost. Christina provides a valuable service that is holistic care. Y'all! VANESSA IS THE BEST!! She did my makeup as well as my mother's, grandmother's, and mother-in-law's for my wedding day! She listened to what we wanted and DELIVERED!! We all felt so pampered and beautiful. I highly recommend her for your next special day!
Brittany and the rest of the team were truly incredible and helped me and my girls feel so beautiful and confident on our big day. She navigated my last minute changes due to the heat with such grace and made me feel like an absolute princess. Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how beautifully everything turned out! We had so much fun getting ready and they helped take the stress out of the entire process! It just felt like getting ready with girl friends I have known for years! They are truly professionals at what they do and I could not recommend them more.
We all came in to get matching family tattoos. Tyler was assigned to us - he did great! We had lots of fun hanging out with him and getting tattooed! He is very professional! Knowing he could do fine line tattoos made this even better!! I ended up getting extras once I knew that! I was very impressed with everything he did!! I highly recommend Tyler for your next tattoo!!

My friend and I did a walk in for matching tattoos on a Friday night. We were immediately greeted and welcomed in. The shop is clean and everyone is very friendly and accommodating- they even had snacks/drinks for customers. Shane did our tattoos and did an amazing job- he was very, very thorough and made sure the entire process was seamless. We honestly wanted to go back for another tattoo before we left town to head back home but just didn’t have time! ?

After doing extensive research I came upon Upper Hand Tattoo Studio. I found Steve Beasley work absolutely stunning and his line work superb. We met and had a consultation with an idea in mind and he brought it to life. Today we started the first session and I’m blown away by his talent and can’t wait for it to be completed and to have my other half sleeve finished as well! The shop was spotless, Jordon at the front is great and all the artist seem awesome! Definitely a highly recommended place to check out for high quality ink.

This review is based on a visit on August 5, 2024. This is also the third time Attaboy has come to help me. The first was several years ago installing toilet from Lowe's and they did a very good job with that.
Today Riley and Jody came to address a problem with some pipes under my sink. They called when on their way and actually arrived a bit earlier than their scheduled appointment time.
They quickly identified what the issues were and had the parts they needed on the truck so the repair was finished expeditiously. Both Riley and Jody were polite, pleasant, and professional. The price for the work was quite reasonable.
I definitely will be using Attaboy for any future plumbing issues. The person in the office who scheduled the appointment was very friendly and got me an appointment within two days. She also called the day before to confirm the appointment.
June 30,2024 - I had a new Insinkerator garbage disposal installed today by Attaboy Plumbing. The plumbers John and Chris came right at the promised time of 12-2 PM ( actually arrived right at noon). They were very professional, polite, and didn't take long to get it installed. The price was very fair. This is the second time I have used Attaboy Plumbing (the first time was to install a toilet from Lowe's) and was happy with the first visit as well.
Definitely 5 star service on three separate visits!
Wow!! Finally an A/C business that cares about people. During Covid my family took a huge hit financially so I was in need of an honest business. A previous company that is highly recommended on FB came out prior and said I needed to replace my 2013 Trane unit. I waited an entire month for them and I finally was told by a friend to call Advance. Do you know Advance came out and with the hr I had cold air!!! The unit is good and he gave me a guarantee! Purpose Plumbing were great !! They arrived on time and professionally worked through the task of replacing two toilets in my home. They were able to do this quickly and also point out potential problems that may arise in the future without trying to do any unnecessary work.
