I've been going to Ralph since he was over on Reynolds ave in the back of Drifter. He's a little further away now for me in James Island, but it's well worth the drive. Ralph keeps a low profile because it's just a single chair and him in the shop. I was on the lookout for a new barber after mine moved and I found him on Instagram. At my first appointment, Ralph got a sense of what I wanted out of my hair/beard and talked about how we would get to that point. He measured parts of my head, took note of cowlicks, and started trimming. He is an old school guy and I appreciate his craft. I knew right away that I had found a new place to go on the regular. Ralph’s cuts are the best. When I moved to Charleston I started going to Ralph’s, then I got lazy and decided to go some place closer to work…now I’m back to Ralph’s shop! He always listens to what I’m looking for and offers his opinion. 100% recommend.P.S. Ralph always welcomes you like you’re a long time friend.

I cannot speak highly enough about a Ralph. This is a guy who sticks to his roots and creates an authentic barber experience in a field that seems so washed out by big name corporations. Genuinely great person providing a service second to none at a price that is more than reasonable. I happily drive by several barbers to sit in his chair.
