Dr Byrnes and his staff are absolutely 💯 awesome. In about 5 to 6 weeks I was seen by his staff and himself and this morning I'm waking up in the hospital hoping to go home today. I feel great considering I had open bariatric bypass surgery less than 24 hours ago. If you're considering bariatric surgery please look no further these Doctors and Nurses know what is best for you. The most organized, well-oiled system Ive ever experienced. From my first consult to the day I left for home after discharge, the hospital staff and surgeon did an excellent job of caring for me. Dr. Byrne did a great job on my bypass and I highly recommend him. The staff treated me like family and were very warm and attentive to all my needs. The process was quick- like about two weeks and my insurance had me approved in a matter of days. Thanks MUSC!!

Dr. Pullat, Amanda (dietician), Beth (nurse coordinator), Janine (insurance), and Dr. Nina (program coordinator), Lauren (NP) and many other wonderful individuals have been supporting me through this program. I can say that I've always been treated with respect and have never waited more than a few minutes for an in-peraon appointment to start. Very happy with the program and my results.
