I wish I had brought my daughter here a year earlier. Penny is so patient and allowed my daughter to develop the courage and confidence she needed to drive. Could not have done that without JI Driving school.

I meant to post this a loong time ago but life got a little busy. Anyways, I wanted to write a review because I absolutely cannot thank this school enough. I'm an adult (22) and hadn't ever gotten my driver's license. I figured going to a driving school was the best chance I could give myself, it was expensive, but it was worth every penny. I had the most amazing, patient driving instructor (Mr. Raeford) He was lighthearted and never made me feel anxious while driving, and we even had some cool conversations about different types of plants and flowers. James Island Driving School is great!I am German and was living in the US partly to get my license easier. Penny is nice and clear on the instructions and communicates, what is important to know. She is patient, yet puts enough pressure for improvement. I was really happy with the lessons and the driving test. They are also super helpful if you got any questions and answer the emails ASAP.All together a great experience, Thank you!
