“I had a haircut with Denise earlier today, and she was great! It was my first time at this shop, and Denise was very personable and listened to everything I asked for. This haircut is for my wedding on Sunday, and my bride-to-be and I are beyond pleased with it. For the price of a haircut, you get so much included. I paid $50 with a tip, and I had my hair shampooed and washed after the cut itself. I felt the service was unparalleled, and I also enjoyed the music that they played. All this to say, I can't recommend this shop more if you're in town and need a haircut.“

I’m really disappointed with my experience here. The barber was friendly and seemed like a nice guy, but unfortunately the haircut itself was not done well, especially considering the price.

I asked for a simple buzz cut, yet there are noticeably longer hairs throughout the cut, making it look uneven and unfinished. I took photos because I couldn’t believe how inconsistent it looked. Honestly, I feel like I could have done a better job myself at home.

Now I have to spend more money and time going somewhere else to have it fixed. I can’t recommend this shop based on the quality of the haircut I received.“

“Our son just got out of the hospital over at Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital and we promised him a haircut when he got out.

He’s temporarily in a wheelchair chair and we walked from the Ronald McDonald House to Lowcountry Barbershop.

When we got in, the staff was great and the gentleman, Hai, greeted us and worked around the fact that our son had to remain in the wheelchair.

Not only did Hai do a great job with the haircut, but he felt the need to give our son his haircut for free.

I also got a haircut from Hai afterwards and made sure to tip him well for the generous gesture for our son!!

“Geer’s Barber shop is the place to go! First, you’ll notice how down to earth and nice Fred Geer is. Next, you notice that he cuts hair like it’s an art. He spends more time making sure the small things are all right. Then, he uses a clean warm razor with cream to shave the back of your neck, finishing with a warm towel and some aftershave. Lastly, you’ll realize that you got to experience this for just $5 more than Sport Clips, Great Clips, etc. I have had my hair cut here for over a year and would recommend it 1000x over. Best barber shop around!“
