“I had a haircut with Denise earlier today, and she was great! It was my first time at this shop, and Denise was very personable and listened to everything I asked for. This haircut is for my wedding on Sunday, and my bride-to-be and I are beyond pleased with it. For the price of a haircut, you get so much included. I paid $50 with a tip, and I had my hair shampooed and washed after the cut itself. I felt the service was unparalleled, and I also enjoyed the music that they played. All this to say, I can't recommend this shop more if you're in town and need a haircut.“

“Today, I booked an appointment to Broad Street Barber Shop for the first time. I give it my highest recommendation. I've lived in Charleston most of my life and never come across it. It has a great atmosphere, a comfortable waiting room, and a traditional barber shop feel without the modern pretentious trends.

The highlight was getting my hair cut by Christine. She was excellent. She got me right in and went straight to business. She showed exceptional attention to detail. I'm not always certain of how past barbers have cut my hair, but she went along with my description and took license in all the right areas. It feels like this was the first quality haircut I've ever received even though I thought I had others.

My only critique is a pretty common issue with barbers -- they only take cash, but that's no big deal.

“Geer’s Barber shop is the place to go! First, you’ll notice how down to earth and nice Fred Geer is. Next, you notice that he cuts hair like it’s an art. He spends more time making sure the small things are all right. Then, he uses a clean warm razor with cream to shave the back of your neck, finishing with a warm towel and some aftershave. Lastly, you’ll realize that you got to experience this for just $5 more than Sport Clips, Great Clips, etc. I have had my hair cut here for over a year and would recommend it 1000x over.
