Corinna and Carson are an amazing team!! They will make you feel comfortable in their environment and through out your service. Corinna is my go to for eyebrows as she is incredibly detail oriented and Carson is the fastest body waxer you’ve ever met! So grateful to be their client!!
5 stars across the board for Corinna! I got a brow tint/wax and a Brazilian.
It was my first time for the latter in years and I was nervous but Corinna made me feel comfortable and kept me laughing! She guided me through the whole thing with a gentle hand and her confidence in her work made my first wax in a hot minute feel like a breeze.
But the brows? THE BROWS THOUGH! I’m obsessed. The tint is so perfectly natural and the shape was perfection, enough to catch myself in mirrors throughout the day.
P.S. I also have three permanent bracelets from her and I love them! So dainty and elegant!
I don’t know why it took me this long to write a review. I’ve been going to Wax Poetic for a while, the first time being around the time she had just started in a smaller space. She’s come a long way because you know why? She’s probably the best, most inclusive, and most empathetic esthetician in Charleston. Trust me when I say, if you look like me, obviously not from here and can be too brown for some, having that comfortable feeling so much adds to the wonderful experience. Corrina could pass for a therapist and you only pay for the yanking of your body hairs! Seriously, I’m very proud of her and how far she’s come and how successful she’s become. And...read full review
