My wife and I have now been here three or four times. I've never had a bad massage. The first three times were probably in the 4-4.5 range if I had to put a number to them. But this last time was one of the best massages I've ever had in my life. Amy (Aimee?) was amazing. Actually focused on the areas that were causing me problems, and worked them until I left feeling better than I've felt in a couple of years. Simply amazing work by her. A couple of minor things - they turned away three people (one couple and one gentlemen) while we were checking in, because they didn't have appointments. So even though it says walk ins welcome, I'd caution to make an appointment. Amy did say they were about to expand next door so they'd be able to take more people in the near future, so I'm sure that'll help out. Lastly my massage started about 10-15 minutes late because they must have been backed up. Amy gave me a full hour massage, and I didn't get cheated out of any time (if anything she may have went a few minutes over), I just mention this as a warning your 2 o'clock appointment may turn into a 2:15 appointment instead. If you get Amy (likewise my wife said her masseuse was also amazing) you'll leave feeling great and definitely won't mind a few minute delay.
First of all we are from the Charlotte area and this our 2nd visit here. We used to go to their other location which is also great but the one day they didn't have an appointment available so the my referred us to this location and boy were we surprised by how awesome they are. I had Amy and my husband had Junia. We are both very athletic so we are always pulling something or in pain. These girls knew exactly where to massage and kept asking if the pressure was good. I recently pulled something in my shoulder while playing pickleball and told her to do a little extra in my shoulder. When I left there my shoulder was already feeling better. My husband has horrible back issues and he said this was one of the best massages he has ever had. We will definitely be back whenever we are back in Charleston. We may even go back before we head home...lol!
I highly recommend Angel Spa for all things massage related. I got a 2 hour massage and it was literally the best massage I've ever had. I highly recommend Amy. I feel like a brand new person after she worked years of deep knots out. She is so kind and attentive. I cannot wait to go back and get my 40 year old hard working feet rubbed! Ohhh and the vibes of spa was immaculate. Nice flowers, dim lighting, good music, and lots of parking options. I could go on and on about how amazing my experience was. Go treat yourself!
