Over the past few years, I've experienced major body changes due to weight loss, I have myofascial pain syndrome and chronically knotted muscles, and I've had a few injuries to boot. I did physical therapy for a whole year, I tried dry needling, I went to a chiropractor, and finally decided to try structural integration/alignment with Phil. Of all the things I tried, the structural integration was by far the most impactful--a couple of days after a session with Phil, and I would feel stronger and more stable in the gym, and maintaining good posture wasn't so challenging as before. The best part, though, is that the effects cumulate, and after 10+ sessions, the improvements I've made have been huge. It takes time and commitment, and a little pain, but the results were worth it for me.

Sam is amazing! I waited a couple days to write this review as I wanted to wash my hair and see how it turns out. I just love the color and pattern. I wanted a little darker espresso shade but Sam said it probably won’t be visible in my black hair and gave me a caramel/ chocolatish color and I am so happy with it. I am a low maintenance girl and this definitely feels like an easier color to manage.

I had a great experience with Layni and the head spa! I struggle with a super dry scalp due to eczema, and this treatment made a noticeable difference. While I can still see some dryness when I look in the mirror, it’s significantly better than before my appointment. Layni was kind, knowledgeable, and made the whole process really relaxing. I definitely recommend it if you’re dealing with scalp issues or just want to treat yourself to something soothing and effective!

Before and after my kids haircut. Aaron did an awesome job!!! My kiddo is 2.5y and has night time epilepsy. Ever since he had to have electrodes put on his head in order to diagnose his seizures, he will not let anyone in the family touch his head anymore. (I don’t blame him). I thought I would give Razors Image a try. My kid was definitely not thrilled and whined the whole time, despite that Aaron was so gentle and nice, while also working fast and was able to deliver an amazing haircut!!! Thank you! I was lucky to be her customer for a few years before I moved out of Bloomington. She quickly realized what works best for my hair and gave me a great hairstyle every time. She's also very fair with pricing. No wonder she's so popular.
I cannot believe it took me this long to find Jay and the other barbers. This felt like a visit to some old friends with supernatural skills. I get a professional head shave and lineup with bald fade on my beard and have tried all the local shops. While there are a few I enjoy (Razors Image), most are all smoke and mirrors. Hoosier Barbershop, though, is the best - welcoming and unbelievably talented. I looked sharper than I thought possible. Will book again.

This truthfully is the first time I’ve ever returned to a barber. I requested Chris again because I was very pleased with his scissor work on my hair, and I am happy to say he did even better this time. Totally awesome experience with this business and it's owner.One would think that it is extremely difficult to make someone feel comfortable when having to undress to be completely naked or just your panties and bra (your preference). However I could not have felt more comfortable standing there in my birthday suit. It was like I was with one of my best friends that I had known forever and we were just doing the regular gossipy girl chat thing. She took away the embarrassment, and never did I feel judged. In addition to that she knew every answer to even the smallest weird questions that I had. I was very impressed with her personality and the cleanliness of her shop. You, my dear, are a rare find, you should definitely be very proud!!!

The girl who helped me was amazing! Long brown hair and fun acrylic nails but I didn’t get her name. It was an hour wait for a spray tan so I would have left if she wasn’t so kind and helpful for my first spray! All the girls working tonight 10/24 were very sweet
My mom and I got our nails done by Bing for my wedding and the whole experience was wonderful. She is very knowledgeable, very professional, and very kind. Her station is also very clean. My mom has never really gotten her nails done and wanted to just use regular polish. Bing never pushed her to do more and made sure that she applied several coats very well so they did not chip. My mom was so happy that her nails still looked great for the wedding day, and when she did eventually remove the nail polish, there was no damage to her nails. I asked for a very specific design I had found online, and Bing delivered exactly what I wanted. I didn't want acrylic tips, so she worked really hard to get the whole design onto my short nails. She also made sure to stop and ask at various points how I felt about it, ensuring that I was getting what I wanted. I would gladly recommend Bing to anyone, and I will recommend her to anyone who asks me for the best place to get their nails done in Bloomington.

Nails club has really consistent, beautifully executed nail art. Some other places in town are more hit or miss, but I feel the quality here is consistently great.

I usually have to file my nails a little bit after my nail appointment to clean up the edges but he cleaned the edges right after the polish. I recently got one row of Natural Beaded Extentions from Hollie. I have been losing volume for a year or so and this is exactly what I needed! most people think of extensions for lots of length, hair, etc but I can tell you that have serve a very real purpose for someone that has thinning hair and just wants to feel/look like themself again. Hollie did an amazing job on the install and the color! Maria was there from start to finish answering any and all questions and making sure I feel comfortable with the process and the continued maintenance.

I’ve been going to Paige for several years for my lashes and brows and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. My lashes still look amazing even when it’s time for a fill. I’ve gone to other lash techs before and the process was so uncomfortable that I’d dread it but it’s never like that with Paige, it’s always a very comfortable, relaxing experience. I’d highly recommend her for all of your lash/brow needs!
Alexis originally gave my daughter a lift and tint on her lashes and i wasnt very happy with the results. I contacted Alexis and let her know and she was very quick to offer another appointment. Unfortunately my daughter got sick and its was over 2 weeks before she could go back. But Alexis got her in immediately and the results are amazing. Her lashes are so beautiful. They are lifted and tinted to perfection. Im so impressed with Alexis and her professionalism and her work. 10/10 would recommend.

Wonderful experience there getting my first tattoo. Annika was absolutely wonderful and did an incredible job turning my very loose idea into a finished product. She was also very helpful with figuring out where to put it and how big we should go, and did an equally incredible job walking me through the process and making sure I was comfortable while she was applying it.
Also, the owner, Chris, was doing someone else's tattoo right next to us and his stories did wonders to distract me from the sting of getting a tattoo for the first time. If he wasn't a tattoo artist I could honestly see him being a radio host or something because he is enthralling to listen to.

We had four plumbing projects completed by Mann Plumbing in the last two weeks, and Donnie, Will, and Jordan did excellent work on all of them! The most challenging was repairing a broken water main that was leaking 30 gallons an hour and creating a small swamp in our yard. Since the repair, we're no longer wasting water and our lawn is dry. The company also replaced a circulation pump for our underfloor radiant heat, fixed a gas leak on our water heater, and repaired a toilet. We're very pleased with the quality and efficiency of the repairs and highly recommend the company.

My air conditioner stopped working during the hot summer. I called Riverway at 10 a.m. and scheduled an appointment for 1 p.m. that day, excellent! (all other places had a 2 day waiting list).
Techs called and said they would be here sooner to fix a/c. They show up at 11:30 and had a/c repaired in 5 minutes! They were very courteous, knowledgeable, and fast.
Bottom line:
I called Riverway at 10 a.m. I'm sitting in the cool a/c by Noon. You cant get better service than that!

My experience is so extraordinarily positive that I feel I must clarify that I do not have any friends or relatives who own or work for Cassady Electric. I live in Terre Haute. I needed CE to install porch lights. They did an excellent job. I then asked if they could look at the light bulbs in my garage door opener because they weren't working. In order to investigate why the light bulbs weren't working, the electrician had to unplug the garage door opener. When he plugged it back in, he heard a pop. The garage door opener would then not work at all. The electrician tried, for quite a while, to make it work again without success. I told him that it was not his fault, because it wasn't. Nevertheless, CE insisted on paying $600 (+tax?) for the installation of a new brand name garage door opener. I asked what I owed for all of the time they spent at my house. The answer: nothing, because of the inconvenience to you.

I called this company to help with a commercial refrigeration and they did a prompt and quick job replacing the compressor. I recently had my Whirlpool dryer suddenly stop producing heat and after replacing several common parts myself, I was still stuck trying to figure out the issue. I called Bloomington Appliance Parts, described the symptoms over the phone, and the person I spoke with was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in helping me narrow it down to the timer switch.
Not only did they help diagnose the problem, but they called me back shortly after to let me know they actually had the part in stock and ready for pickup. Harley and Hunter arrived early to clean the carpet in one bedroom and clean out the dryer vent. They were very thorough and communicated with us with every step of the process. At one point, Harley had to get in the crawl space of the house to check on a vent connection. I appreciate their attention to detail and that they took before/after photos of what we could not see under the house.

Bought a new-build home and the first thing I wanted to do was get the garage floor coated. I talked to several companies around Bloomington but he was by far easiest to communicate with. His pricing was in line with what I was expecting to pay, and he did a great job. Did not rush and spent a lot of time on prep, which is a good thing, and the floor came out amazing. A few months later I elevated the water heater and he came back out to fill in the uncoated area where it had been sitting on the ground, and you’d never know it was a “patch” done after the fact. Would definitely recommend.
Needed flooring but no time to make special order so bought the in house stock brand called FlooringPlus which is made by their company. Great price, and the Flint Gray is a beautiful gray with some white boards; exactly what i was looking for! This Gray is more of a neutral gray.
This was about my 7th attempt at lvp flooring installation, and I consider myself pretty good at it but this brand was very nearly the most challenging brand I've installed.
The flooring quality of their in- house FlooringPlus stock is great for the price with its 20 mil wear layer; however, don't expect much leeway in its installation. The boards must be laid precisely! Even a smidgen off that you can't even notice will cause some small separation. If this had been a dark color choice, it would've looked pretty bad; however, with the Flint Gray, the small amount of separating isn't noticeable except to someone with a discerning eye.
My opinion is if you're new to LVP, choose a different brand other than their in-house FlooringPlus company stock brand. It's very affordable but not the most beginner friendly and keep in mind they DO NOT offer refunds!
They do have a good array of other brands to choose from, and they are very knowledgeable as well as helpful and courteous.
We began looking at flooring at a big box store and then stopped at CarpetPlus COLORTILE. The selection was impressive and Jeff was knowledgeable and very helpful. They measured the floor and the price on the flooring was competitive with the big box store and better quality. Jake was able to install the new vinyl laminate floor over the old tile floor and did an amazing job. He was courteous, professional and meticulous. He worked by himself and we were amazed at that he could even move our stacked washer and dryer by himself. A GREAT job and we are very pleased. One of our neighbors who is moving to a new home came by and commented, WOW, with your new floors it looks like you have a new home. We are very pleased with the service and the look of our new flooring.

I am so elated! My home developed a musty smell and it was making me sick. I needed someone to determine if I had any leaks or mold in my home. They recommended tearing out the insulation in the Crawlspace, putting in foam insulation, encapsulation and venting. They were professional, thoughtful and thorough. Walnut Builders have done several jobs for us over the years and its always with excellent results. ****** is scrupulous about the quality of the work, the materials, the daily cleanup, as well as their timeliness, courtesy and consideration of the familys needs. They couldnt have been more thoughtful and careful about always masking indoors during the pandemic. He is also an excellent communicator who can and does explain what he plans to do and why, and if anything changes based on what he finds once they start, he comes back to you with detailed information and recommendations for going forward. On our latest job he found multiple serious problems with ventilation and electrical connections in our attic caused by work either not done or done shoddily by past contractors. This alone is a reason to hire Walnut Builders.

Loren Wood recently built our new garage and large deck. The scope also included installing a new septic system. Though they are not the cheapest contractor you can find, they were well worth the money. The crews worked efficiently and with great care for details. As a retired architect, I appreciated the great communication I received from the project manager and site supervisor. I will be using Loren Wood exclusively for our future projects.
We are blown away by the amazing work Shawn & Kristin did on our yard. They installed french drains for us in our back yard, and they were tirelessly dedicated to getting the drainage just right. We have had a ton of rain this spring, and so far, our back yard hasn't pooled! They also installed some privacy trees for us that look absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be using them again!

We had a drainage swell through our back yard that we didn’t do a good job cleaning out and it had just turned into a muddy mess. The organization I am with always uses Nature's Way for florals (both greenery and centerpieces) for events. We have been able to tell them exactly who the audience is, what type of event we are having, what we need, and they will deliver!!! I don't think we have had to give much direction on what we are looking for and they always are able to surprise us with the detailed and gorgeous florals. We are so grateful to be able to have them in the community and elevate our events.

Lisa was fantastic, she explained as she went along to prepare me for what she would be doing next; the pressure I might feel, the sounds I might hear, etc which greatly helped me to relax. She did a wonderful job of repairing the sling for my tooth making sure my bite was comfortable even after returning upright from the reclined position. The result was a huge improvement in mouth feel and appearance.
My son needed to be seen urgently and this office made a place for him. The staff was very very very kind and understanding. Very nice when we came for the actual visit and the doctor even called to check on him afterwards. I can't say enough about this place. My first visit and I will definitely be back and will definitely recommend it! You don't get that kind of care anymore. ❤

This practice, Dr. Bob Goode, he is amazing. I had impingement in neck impacting my hand function. Pain intractable. WAS. A neuro surgeon suggested 3 different surgeries. I found Dr. Bob thru a friend. I scheduled a first time appointment. I went in with horrible posture and horrific pain. I walked out pain free. As a physical therapist I was hopeful and in dire need of treatment outside the surgery realm. I see Dr. Bob to keep moving period. I walk better, I sit pain-free. This doc is a miracle worker. If you want the best neck and back crack and alignment this Guy is it. Old school like it should be. Been coming here since 2019. This guy is the only chiropractor with both a spine roller machine and a water jet table. I come in here once a week it’s $40 for all of it. Best deal in Southern Indiana. My lower back is smoked but this place keeps me working and on the road.

When Benjamin was struggling with a severe illness, persistent skin lesions, and ongoing allergies, we were terrified and desperate for answers. Then I met Dr. James, truly a magician in the world of veterinary care.
From the very first visit, Dr. James showed a level of patience, kindness, and compassion that is rare to find. She took the time to understand Benjamin’s symptoms, listen to all of my concerns, and explain a thoughtful treatment plan in a way that made me feel informed and reassured. It wasn’t just medical care; it was genuine empathy.
Benjamin’s skin infection lasted for over two months, which was incredibly stressful, but Dr. James supported me and Benji through every step of this long healing journey. Not once did she rush us, dismiss concerns, or make me feel like just another appointment on her schedule. She treated Benjamin as if he were her own cat, with so much love and gentleness that I was often genuinely moved.
What truly amazed me was how Benjamin responded to her. I’ve been bringing my mini Goldendoodle, Benji, here for about four years and wouldn’t trust anyone else with him. They always take great care of him, make sure he’s comfortable, and he leaves looking amazing every time.
Miss Myla (Husky) has been going to The Bone Yard since it opened. I rescued her from the animal shelter. She absolutely loves the staff in the groom shop and daycare. She can be a difficult groom at times (typical husky) but the staff always does
a great job. Myla loves seeing all her doggy friends in daycare and especially loves the birthday parties!! Both the groom shop and daycare are always clean - daily cleaning at the end of the day to keep all the doggies healthy. Watching the staff interact with the dogs and their owners- you can tell they truly care about their wellbeing. I wouldn’t think of taking Myla anywhere else. She loves the staff.
