Flooring in Bloomington

“We began looking at flooring at a big box store and then stopped at CarpetPlus COLORTILE. The selection was impressive and Jeff was knowledgeable and very helpful. They measured the floor and the price on the flooring was competitive with the big box store and better quality. Jake was able to install the new vinyl laminate floor over the old tile floor and did an amazing job. He was courteous, professional and meticulous. He worked by himself and we were amazed at that he could even move our stacked washer and dryer by himself. A GREAT job and we are very pleased. One of our neighbors who is moving to a new home came by and commented, WOW, with your new floors it looks like you have a new home. “Needed flooring but no time to make special order so bought the in house stock brand called FlooringPlus which is made by their company. Great price, and the Flint Gray is a beautiful gray with some white boards; exactly what i was looking for! This Gray is more of a neutral gray.
This was about my 7th attempt at lvp flooring installation, and I consider myself pretty good at it but this brand was very nearly the most challenging brand I've installed.
The flooring quality of their in- house FlooringPlus stock is great for the price with its 20 mil wear layer; however, don't expect much leeway in its installation. The boards must be laid precisely! Even a smidgen off that you can't even notice will cause some small separation. If this had been a dark color choice, it would've looked pretty bad; however, with the Flint Gray, the small amount of separating isn't noticeable except to someone with a discerning eye.
My opinion is if you're new to LVP, choose a different brand other than their in-house FlooringPlus company stock brand. It's very affordable but not the most beginner friendly and keep in mind they DO NOT offer refunds!
They do have a good array of other brands to choose from, and they are very knowledgeable as well as helpful and courteous.“

“Bought a new-build home and the first thing I wanted to do was get the garage floor coated. I talked to several companies around Bloomington but he was by far easiest to communicate with. His pricing was in line with what I was expecting to pay, and he did a great job. Did not rush and spent a lot of time on prep, which is a good thing, and the floor came out amazing. A few months later I elevated the water heater and he came back out to fill in the uncoated area where it had been sitting on the ground, and you’d never know it was a “patch” done after the fact. Would definitely recommend.“
