I needed to get my hair cut in prep for my daughter's wedding next week. I have short hair that I'm incredibly picky about, and I want to go go shorter. Amy gave me the cutest cut, with just enough length to keep it feminine, but short enough that it's got some sass. I could tell she was very comfortable with precision cuts. The vibe in the salon is easy going and everyone is very nice. Great experience.
Rhapsody Hair is the cutest little salon. The ambiance is so cozy and inviting! I booked appointments for my whole family (Mom, Dad, son 11 and Daughter 9) with Randee. She was absolutely amazing!! So kind and inviting! She is definitely a pro at what she does! My husband and son both have difficult hair with multiple cowlicks and we gave her creative freedom to do what she thought would be best with their hair type and she nailed it! Both boys left extremely happy with their cuts. My daughter's hair inspiration was Taylor Swift and she left so happy with her cut and style! My cut is perfect too! Randee wears a mask at all times and has her air purifier going which is very appreciated! Overall it was a wonderful experience! I highly recommend Randee and Rhapsody Hair!

I came to see Diana Ciocan for a scalp facial. I have never gotten this service done before but after this first experience I do see myself getting more in the future. Before scheduling our appointment, Diana made sure to inform me of what a scalp facial entailed step-by-step and in detail so there wouldn’t be any surprises. When I arrived at my appointment, I was immediately greeted by a receptionist and asked if I’d like anything to drink (which is never a requirement for salons but it’s always a nice little gesture that elevates the customer experience). Barely a minute after taking a seat in the waiting area/boutique space, Diana greeted me and helped me right away. As the appointment started, she made sure to get to know more about my past experiences with other salon services and hair care routine, which shows the concern she has with ensuring none of the products/services she offers won’t have any adverse reactions. I have thin hair and because of that I am extremely self-conscious when other people touch my head, but Diana wasn’t judgmental about it at all and still made me feel beautiful and cared for while providing me with different hair regrowth tips during the facial. The scalp facial was such a relaxing experience, I damn near fell asleep in my seat a couple of times! My hair came out so soft and my scalp has never felt so fresh and light before. All throughout Diana and I had a great time getting to know each other. She is kind, personable, and exercises a lot of care when helping people. I’m sure I’ll be seeing her again in the future. I give Dore Navant Hair Studio a 10 rating! My hair was a mess I love how she color matched me of what I had of my natural hair color. It has been quite a while I set foot in a salon because of the same reason of asking one thing and coming out disappointed with results. However, with Bertha she really took her time to listen, explained the options I had for my hair. She definitely understood what I wanted. I love the products she used on me, love how my hair feels soft and silky. In love with the end result ♥️ ♥️ I finally found a salon that I will be returning to. I love, love how my hair turned out. Beth is the only person I’d trust to cut my toddlers hair. She’s patient, kind, and my kid is obsessed with her. We took him into the shop for his first haircut and I wasn’t sure how he’d respond. She made sure he was comfortable and took it really slow so he wasn’t overwhelmed. She even came prepared with lollipops (pictured). He now wants his hair cut weekly ?. First time going to this Barber Shop, it wasn’t for me, It was actually for my son Diego he is 8 years old. We immediately were kindly greeted and welcomed. Jr. The Barber took my son right away and made him feel comfortable. Relaxing atmosphere, they even offered me a cold water since it was like 103 degrees yesterday. I was really impressed with Jr.’s skillz.. he cut my sons hair really nice ?? We will definitely be returning back as it was excellent customer service experience. Big Up!! thank you fellas.
I came to the Gentlemen's Cutlery for the first time today and saw Marcus. I was throughly impressed with the entire shop. As soon as you walk in you know you're in a nice establishment.
When I got in Marcus' chair, he listened to what I wanted, gave me some advice, and I let him do his thing. I got the haircut and service I've been looking for since moving to sac 4 years ago! His attention to detail and the time he took to make sure everything looked good was very much appreciated. Getting a shampoo at the end was a nice touch! Marcus was also very friendly and easy to talk to.

I've had others cut my hair here and been great but had JR for the last couple cuts and cant speak highly enough of him. His care and attention to detail and want to make you feel comfortable in his chair is amazing. You can tell he truly cares about his craft and is an absolute pro.

Love this place I'm a mom of 2 boys and one curly headed and one very corse hair and we used to only go here but we ended up moving a lil over an hour away so we tried another barber let's just say I cried after we left the other place and not in a good way. So now we drive the lil over an hour drive every time and will continue to do that drive because honestly at five star fades you know what your getting and that is greatness. But please everyone tip these men they definitely deserve it....????

My favorite place for a spray tan! I've been twice and will continue to come here anytime I need a tan. Meghan did my first one and she was great. Took the time to figure out what I was going for my Cabo vacation and totally delivered! The other spray artist (can't recall who) was also amazing and took the notes from my first tan and delivered the perfect look for a girls weekend in Nashville. The space is beautiful and I'll always recommend this place to friends!

Ashley, the owner, is truly a gem—knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about helping her clients look and feel their best. She takes the time to explain the process, customize your tan to match your skin tone, and makes sure you’re comfortable every step of the way. The results are always flawless and natural-looking. I can’t recommend Glo Tan and Ashley enough! I'd give them 10 stars if I could!
Kim is an amazing Esthetician. I have been going to her for 3.5 years for facials and everyone says I am reverse aging. Kim keeps my skin looking youthful, fresh, and natural. I leave glowing and it lasts for weeks. I always get compliments on my skin- I owe it to Kim. I rarely wear makeup or wear very little because my skin is so clear and radiates. I am so lucky to have found Kim and I trust her with all my skin needs! She is also a wonderful person! 10/10 recommend.
The Natural Glo team is Amazing! They are kind, professional, and so cheerful! I always feel sensational after my spray tan! The tanning solution smells lovely and is conditioning to my skin. Looks like I lost 10 lbs with my tan love love love ?
I truly am not a fan of your new spray machine at all. My color is never even it’s always an issue not to mention all of the extra money you have to pay and it still doesn’t color you like you should be colored each and every time I come here it’s been an issue. I’ve never had these problems with your old machine. however, I have always enjoyed the professionalism of your establishment

I went to Paul today for the first time, and I couldn’t be happier with my hair! He’s the first stylist who did exactly what I showed in my pictures and made it look even better. Yumi did my manicure and it has been the longest last manicure I’ve ever had. They’re still going strong after a month! This is very unusual for me because my nails are not the strongest. She did a wonderful repair job on a couple of split nails and added a tip to one that is unnoticeable! Obviously there is now a gap where my nails have grown, so I’m heading back in a few days to get them updated.

My mom has been coming here since we lived down the street, and still comes here now that I have older kids of my own. I had never been inside when I was younger, but since she frequents here maybe every month. On two separate occasions in the past year I've come in to get her a gift card here. The first time I came for the giftcard and gave my mom's name for the card. The co-owner and lady who does my mom's nails, asked if I was her son, to which I replied yes. And before leaving thanked me and told me to tell my mom high. Overall: Friendly owners, quiet location; at least when I've arrived.
I cannot thank Jamie more for the tremendous work she did on my wedding nails! I called 4 days before my wedding and she offered to stay late on a Friday just to do my nails because it was such a special occasion. I gave her some inspiration photos of what I wanted but gave her full creative license. She took her time, asked my opinion and made sure that I got exactly what I wanted. She is so friendly, courteous and seems like just a joy to work with. I never get my nails done but I'll have to start going more frequently just so Jaime can work her magic. It's obvious that she's seasoned and knows what she's doing. Everyone at my wedding was so impressed! Even after almost 2 weeks, they're still going strong and haven't broken a single one.

This was my first time ever getting a silk press. J.James was recommended by a friend of mine. I cut my hair about 4 years ago and have not had a trim since. I loved the way my hair turned out. He was able to color, wash, steam treat, press, and trim my hair. I will definitely be returning to him for my hair maintenance!

I've been getting my hair cut with Alexa for probably close to a year, and I've always been happy with it. I like a high and tight fade with longer, stylized/combed hair on top. With previous hair stylists at different shops I was never 100% happy with the end result. When I had my first appointment with Alexa and described what I wanted, however, she knew exactly what I was describing and she's never done a bad job. I even entrusted her with my wedding haircut and it was perfect! Alexa is always professional, friendly, and pays attention to even small details that other stylists overlook. Highly recommend!

I got married in New York City this past May and my wedding party and I loved, loved, loved the wonderful person who did our hair and makeup that day. We loved her so much, my matron of honor considered flying her out to do our hair and makeup for the reception we were having in California later that year. (Then the reality of the cost set in.) Luckily, I found MM Beauty! After reading some reviews, I submitted an inquiry and had a consult with the owner the following week. I booked them on the spot and it was seamless from that moment forward. MM Beauty provided an online portal where I could view correspondence and payment information. They provided tip sheets and reminders. And they asked for input on what we wanted as far as hair and makeup looks. There was constant communication. Our artists, Vanessa and Nami, came to my house with everything ready to go, and both ladies were professional perfectionists, ensuring me and my gals looked and felt our very best. We are a bunch of middle-aged women; youth was not on our side, but these pros did wonders for us! I'll admit, I was a little nervous wondering if anyone was going to be able to live up to the wonderful artist who did our hair and makeup back in May, but my fear was for not. Vanessa and Nami were wonderful! True artists!

She massages you (I've been to others who don't so I appreciate this!) while certain face masks sit and you can feel her good vibes flowing. My face always feels new after some time with her. I always add a jelly mask, and book the longer facials to get some gua sha in too. Highly enjoy and recommend

I have been meaning to leave a review for a month but here we are. I had a medical issue and needed a one time leg waxing. I was dreading it because I tear up when I have to rip off a band aid. I was running a few minutes behind and gave them a call to let them know, and they were so kind and understanding. That made me want to be a repeat customer before I'd even had my service! They provide a robe, slippers, snacks, and water while you wait. Rebecca made sure to find out my problem areas and what I was looking for, and the facial itself was heavenly. I come every month to do my facial. I still consider myself a newbie to skin care. In my 50's and trying to keep my skin youthful. I have large pores, oily skin, brown marks and white spots under my eyes. Erica is very knowledgeable and educates me on products and how my skin can benefit. My brown marks are lightening up, white spots gone and the crater holes I had from teenage acne days are minimized to some being gone. Over time and the follow through at home has made a big difference in my skin. One day I was running late 20 minutes she still took me in and did not make me feel bad. Another thing Erica does is have a list for you of all the products she will be using. She uses different products each time. And she stays on top of her game learning the most recent techniques and latest products. I do recommend her however I just want to keep her to my self.

TLDR: This place is amazing. The shop owner and his wife are very sweet and I think I might have found my tattoo artist soulmate Skyler. Great experience, beautiful work and amazing personalities. I don't normally write reviews, but the experience has been stuck in the back of my head so hopefully it'll convince you to come check them out. Booking Process: Skyler had a last-minute opening through his Instagram and I was able to snatch it. He was very responsive and his enthusiasm and passion are evident even in the way he messages. He had a killer deal because he wanted to tattoo a certain style. I gave him some ideas of what I wanted included in the piece and he was able to have custom artwork for an upper arm piece done by my appointment less than two days later! I wanted to include dog skulls in the piece to represent my own dogs and he even went so far as to research skull reference pictures that were closest to their breeds (he found a chihuaha/mini poodle mix skull!). I didn't see the art until the consultation, but I was in love right away. Skyler has a great eye for composition, the elements blended seamlessly. He also placed the stencil perfectly on the first go. Location/Shop: Unfortunately, the shop is not in the safest location. I've lived in South Sacramento, so I'm familiar with the area. However, the inside of the shop itself is a stark contrast from it's surrounding area. Great natural lighting, clean and inviting. There are plants and artwork everywhere. The environment I'm in has a large impact on my mood and experience and I have no complaints there. Vibes: I feel like Skyler and I hit it off right away (if you're reading this, I hope it wasn't one-sided). He is such a cool, friendly guy and I felt at ease the entire time. We had comfortable silences, casual conversation and good laughs here and there. He was very accommodating and attentive. I messaged him the day of the appointment if we could start earlier and he happily obliged. His car actually got swiped in the parking lot during the appointment, but he took it like a champ. He took care of it quickly and returned to work with cool composure. I have no complaints about my experience with Skyler. I'm not sure if I could go to another tattoo artist again. Not just for the tattoo quality (which is amazing), but the overall experience. I was on cloud 9 for quite a while after the tattoo and have been fiending for the next session. Also got to meet the owner while his wife (who just finished her apprenticeship, congrats!) tattooed someone else. The owner was working on a sick painting. We chatted a bit and he seemed like a really cool, friendly person. I didn't get to talk to his wife, but her client seemed at ease and happy with her tattoo. If everyone else who works here is the same, then I don't think you'll have any negative experience with customer service. Tattoo: Loving my tattoo so far! We've only gotten about 3 hours in, but it's already looking sick! I love Skyler's style and his attention to detail is amazing! Great lines and shading. Pictures attached speak better than words. Looking forward to getting many more in the future. I had actually planned to do a back tattoo with another artist, but am now possibly losing that deposit to work with Skyler instead. I have so much trust in Skyler that in the future, I'd like for him to go ham on my right leg and freehand whatever he wants. Skyler was efficient and I had very minimal pain. We took maybe one fifteen minute break over the three hours. Overall: Hopefully this helps you decide to come here! 100/10. Coming again and again.

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for Jen and her team. I reached out to Jen after my best friend experienced the sudden and tragic death of her young daughter ant Christmastime. Jen took all the information about the memorial tattoos our group wanted to get and was able to get us in quickly even with the holidays. This was so therapeutic for us in the horrible time we were dealing with. Jen took so much care dealing with our grief and recognized our decision fatigue. I appreciated that she noticed when we needed her to take charge and make the decisions for us. Sameer showed up right on time. I liked that he answered the phone, and I wasn’t sent to some phone answering service and asked for a bunch of personal information. I just wanted my drain cleaned! He gave me a price over the phone and had my drain cleaned in 20 minutes! I’ve had bad experiences with plumbing contractors lately, including quotes to redo half our system for $22,000! He’s our go to drain cleaner now.

Highly recommend. A colleague recommended I use The Plumbing Machines 3 or 4 years ago to fix a leaking toilet. They fixed it quickly without issue, explained exactly why it had been leaking and explained what they had done to fix it. I was so pleased I had them come out the next year for my other bathroom. This week I brought them out again to solve a leak in my kitchen faucet. Ruben even sealed the gap in my counter/back splash so water would stop seeping through (something I had not realized was occurring). Paul saved my day! A pipe broke in my back yard continuously spraying water everywhere. I called Abe Lincoln Plumbing and Heating and Paul responded to my call. He didn't think he would be able to make it out today and began to guide me on the phone to look for my shutoff valve. It turned out we could not locate the correct one for the pipe that broke. Paul graciously arrived less than an hour later and fixed my broken pipe and a great cost. This was by far one of the best experiences I have had in regards to needing an emergency situation take care of. Thank you Paul!

What started as a simple kitchen line issue (that I had initially called a competitor for, won’t mention a name but they are not the hero in this story wink*wink*) turned into me reaching out to this company for a second opinion. A couple of different technicians came out, and at first there was some contradictory advice which led to a hydro jet of my main line, but the kitchen line was still acting up.
Long story short, the service manager personally got involved, really listened to everything, and turned it into a training moment for his staff. He went above and beyond to make sure my situation was handled the right way, that the problem was fixed, and that I clearly understood all of my options moving forward.
At the end of the day, my expectations weren’t just met, they were exceeded. I’m extremely satisfied and grateful for the way everything was handled. To me, this defines an incredible business. We are all human, people make mistakes, but when you stand behind your work, stay true to your word, and follow through to ensure customer satisfaction, couldn’t ask for anything more. My dishwasher stopped working a few days ago. There was a lot of standing water in the bottom and my feeble attempts to troubleshoot it didn't work so I called iFix and made an appointment for the following day. Ariel was on time, extremely polite, and spent a lot of time troubleshooting possible issues. Not only did he fix the dishwasher but he also made very helpful suggestions for how to prevent this issue from happening in the future, including switching to dishwasher detergent instead of the pods. He also gave me advice on my washing machine! He was in and out in about an hour and I couldn't be happier with his professionalism and the level of service I received. Had to hire these guys to come out and replace the lock and coin system on a laundry machine. The washer lock was vandalized in an attempt to steal quarters and the crook couldn't get in, only problem was neither could anyone else after he was done trying. They technically a B&B had to bring out some special equipment but they got the job done and gave me all the coins that were trapped in the old box. A little pricey but I would highly recommend, it was worth the coin :)

Rockstar Carpet Cleaning never disappoints. I have been using them for a couple of years now, and they're always excellent with the service they provide. Dominic and his brother come in and they clean my carpets, leaving them looking clean, and fresh.
One time I had an accident where I accidentally flooded the downstairs, and they came in and were able to suck up all the water from the carpet and remove the stains. After a couple of days, the stains resurfaced, and they came back again and cleaned the stains. They completely removed them at no charge.
More recently, after watching a family pet that made a mess in the carpet, I called them and they were able to fit me in the very next morning. They came in early in the morning and cleaned my carpet removing the stains. They're always prompt to respond, their prices are very reasonable, and their service goes above and beyond.
The cleaner contacted us and showed up early which was a pleasant surprise! He was very knowledgeable and had several great ideas for cleaning our carpeting. We had very expensive 8 x 10 living room rug that had gotten pretty worn from usage and pets, I was sad because I couldn’t find another rug like mine and I was contemplating throwing it away, at the last minute I looked up Sacramento Rug Works and decided to try them. Excellent communication and explanation of the process by Mike. He came out multiple times, with samples (due to our indecisiveness) and was patient with us along the way. Ended up following his recommendation to go epoxy (over grind and seal; even though I LOVE that look) for a number of reasons: completely seal the concrete slab and prevent water coming up, covering/filling all imperfections, durability, low maintenance... to name a few. His crew is made up of some hard working dudes. These guys put in some late hours, on a Friday night to get the job done - all in a day! My wife and I are super happy with the results.
I had a great experience at this warehouse! They finished my truck in just 30 minutes, which was impressive. The staff was really helpful and restroom was also clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus. We just had our kitchen & family room floor redone by NG Floors with laminate. They were very helpful in assisting us to find a compatible color for waterproof laminate that was complimentary to the hardwood in our breakfast room & the many oak cabinets in the kitchen. We carried samples home 4 times to discover big differences in our home from what we saw in showroom. Once material arrived, the installation was quick & efficient. Stan T who made our estimate was in charge of our installation & made himself available by phone & text. Their .machines tripped breakers knocking out TV, internet & plugs in several rooms. An electrician was dispatched promptly to fix the problem temporarily. With old house wiring I need to make some upgrades for safety.& security. The bid from NG was the best we recieved.

So easy to work with! An estimator came out and gave us a quote. We were on the books within 2 weeks! That arrived on time the morning of and promptly got to work removing the old carpet and baseboards. The majority of the 3 rooms were completed pretty quickly! They then discovered the estimator had under measured and they were short floor boards. The subcontractor searched high and low, found more and brought them to our house so the project could be finished. We were not charged for the extra materials. Their hard work, honesty and commitment to customer happiness ensured we will 100% use them again for other flooring needs. Thanks!

Showed up on time and finished the install in an hour. Gave me instructions on using the remote. Fan is a little louder on HI then I thought, but LOW is barely audible and MED you can tell it's on but still fairly quiet. Happy customer and would refer them to others.
July of 2024 I had Solid Construction do a full gut and remodel of my master bath. The entire experience was excellent from the sales coordinator Mike, to the crew manager Misha to one of the main craftsmen Serge. The work was meticulous, and they went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the end product. I had designed the new footprint and was able to pick out all of my fixtures. They have a large showroom with a vast selection of cabinets, flooring and tile. When I did not find my "perfect" shower tile in what they had on hand, I was able to find what I wanted myself and it did not change the price quoted. Although Solid Construction contracted out to have the custom vanity built, they make sure the companies they partner with are of the same high caliber. My vanity and side cabinet came out exactly as I had requested all the way down to specific pull outs.
If you have a remodel project, I highly recommend Solid Construction and Design.
Highly recommend NRG Pros! Had a tile roof leak from inside the garage. They sent Sam out the next day. NRG was the 2nd estimate received. The 1st estimate company from another roof contractor was way too high, and they ended up estimating the cost to repair would have been 3 times what NRG quoted. I won't mention the name of the other company, but I will say, do your due diligence when looking for a roof repair contractor on Yelp. The 1st company gave me an estimate without lifting a tile. Sam, from NRG Pros lifted tiles and showed me pictures, and pointed out the problem. I also received a fair and honest estimate which saved $thousand's, from what the other company wanted. Go with NRG for roof repairs, and if you don't, make sure you get your money's worth. I am a landlord and own a few properties. I am keeping NRG contact information for all my future roofing needs.
We had George and his crew repair and paint the exterior of our house. They all were very professional, and we enjoyed working with them. George went above and beyond to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. George has great communication skills. Each day he walked us through what was being done that day and how far they were with the work. George verified every detail I wanted and when I needed help due to being indecisive, he was patient with me and offered suggestions when I asked. No review is going to be able to express how much I love how my house looks. It literally looks like a new house. So if you are looking for the best results, call them. You are going to love it!
TSD Construction did a fantastic job in refurbishing a dismal 70 year old laundry room to an updated storage laundry room. It required every trade in a very small room, removing old windows and doors, flooring and updating electrical and plumbing. His tradesmen were fantastic, each and every one very professional. The end result in this very small but now highly functional room is just what I needed for my modest home. Highly recommend.

My home seemed like a wasp magnet this summer. There were many nests under my eaves and in my patio cover. Curtis was amazing! The ones in the patio cover were only accessible by climbing out the bedroom window and walking on a catwalk. He did not balk at this. I love Defender. I bought a newly built home in Elk Grove not knowing anything and a friend referred them to me. Bill is great. He's always friendly and helpful, and Page and Ruth are always pleasant to speak to on the phone, and always willing to accommodate my requests. I live near an open land that is now being turned over for condos. The solution that Defender uses to keep the bugs away is super powerful. We don't see ANY bugs and we can't smell what is sprayed when Bill provides the service. They treat the garage, interior, and perimeter of my house every other month. They get rid of any cobwebs, wasp nests that they find, etc. and even in the months that they don't come, we only see an occasional silver fish or pinch bug. I love that I can change the frequency of their visits, and the price is very, very reasonable.

I HIGHLY recommend Wilson Escalante, and will definitely use his services again for any future landscaping or garden projects. I wanted to replace my lawn with a sitting area and raised garden beds. I gave Wilson a graph paper drawing and lots of descriptions, and he made what was in my head come to life. We got multiple estimates, and his was less than half of the highest estimate - and he stuck to his estimate exactly, even fixing an existing broken pipe and trimming my lemon tree for free. Plus he’s really nice and knowledgeable, and just great to work with.

Since I had previously been very impressed with Salvador Gallardo / Authentic Landscape on an urgent repair for our leaking irrigation valve system, I called on him again for my long dreamed of overhaul of our entire front and back yard beginning May 22, 2024. He advertises "You can be sure that you will receive quality work with a personal touch" which is exactly what I needed. I had a rather vague plan and relied on his expertise to help develop my dream. The major goal was to completely remove all the turf, leaving only the trees, a grape arbor (which Salvador needed to redesign and expand), and a couple areas of plants. We used a turf replacement rebate and he and Jesus, plus his sons Christian and Jesse, spent 2 weeks digging out all the nasty weeds and a several-inch layer of dirt. Our irrigation system was converted to sprinklers for the garden areas and drip lines around the outer areas of trees and original landscape plants plus a new control unit. Some of the trees required some pruning also. It was fun working with Salvador to figure just where my front and back “gardens” and pebble pathways would go. We added slabs of flagstone around the front and back faucets and replaced the remaining area with shredded wood. Additionally, he replaced one entire gate and had to redesign and repair of my second gate. My back garden is essentially a lawn replacement of ground cover plants, and the front garden utilized a lot of succulents and several other plants dug out and from my pots plus lots of poppy seeds. We added some ground cover and a variety of other plants I found on clearance sales. We incorporated my collection of granite rocks, and I’ve continued detailing with decorative features to make my “Never Too Late For A Happy Childhood” theme garden with fairy, farm, lighthouse, and Santa and reindeer areas, lots of solar lights/fireworks, windchimes, spinners, toys and sculptures, While reasonably priced, it was an expensive project but, after 20 years of dreaming, so worth the smile I can’t quit. Obviously I continue to highly recommend Salvador and Authentic Landscape. The guys worked very hard and were a pleasure to have around. Being able to make well advised adjustments as work progressed was a great advantage to accomplishing my desires. ~Kate Xavier

I have been to several ROCK stores. Cascade is my favorite. VERY FRIENDLY, HELPFUL staff. That made the difference for me. I got 90% of my rocks from cascade and made this waterfall. Lava, Sonoma Gold, Feather rocks and River rocks mostly.

EXCELLENT, so far, I am VERY PLEASED with not only the super speedy response time from when I first contacted Tree Services, and how nice Sarah was to deal with, but also with Joe, who came out to give me a free estimate on either pruning or complete tree removal. He seemed extremely knowledgeable, and was very easy going and took his time evaluating our tree and suggested we may still have some time before it needs to be removed due to it’s size and angle of growth. We love that old Cedar and want to save it if we can, for awhile longer if possible! It does require proper pruning, of course.I was very pleased with Joe’s assessment, and hopefully we can do business soon! We will be receiving an estimate for both services.

I met Andre a few years back while I was outside doing yardwork. He drove up and introduced himself giving a quote on the stop. I didn’t take him up on his offer then but today the same thing happened and I made sure to act!! His guys came over and trimmed my tree, juniper bushes and cut down remaining trunks of another tree. He’s as fair as they come and I can not wait to have him back!!!

Enrique and two team specialists completed removing the two messy crepe myrtle trees and arrow-grass shrubs today in 3 hours. They cleaned up after the removal, and I am satisfied with their professionalism and performance.

During the big storms this winter I had a tree in my backyard fall towards SMUD's lines that go through my yard. The Grove was very responsive and came out within a few days, even with all of the craziness of the storms. They removed that tree, and then came back later in the month and removed the other trees I no longer wanted in my yard and ground the stumps - all done very thoroughly and efficiently. When I went in the backyard after it was done, I could hardly even tell there had been trees there because they did a great job cleaning up. Tom and his team did an amazing job trimming our trees. Tom is very knowledgeable about trees and advised us not to cut our trees back too far. The team was very promt and efficient and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves. They even blew the leaves off of our yard and swept everything up. My tree fell on my house during the storm earlier this year. I had another company cut the tree off of my house however, I had Dons tree service grind the large Chinese Elm ***** and 3 other smaller stumps down. They did an awesome job and I felt their price point was reasonable considering the magnitude of the job( it took them 2 days the grind the larger ***** down). If I were able to post pictures, the pictures would have said it all.

It was a great first appointment. My anxiety about the first appointment was quickly relieved as I talked to the dentist, receptionist, dental assistant and hygienist and experienced genuine care from them all. Good bedside manner seems a little hard to come by with dentists but not here. I am so pleased and looking forward to working with this office in maintaining excellent oral hygiene in the future.

He is the best dentist i have ever went to. I got injured in iraq on my last combat tour. When i got out i didn't have dental insurance for about 16 years. So needless to say i needed a lot of work done. I also was dealing with a chipped front tooth, and the day i went to see him i got full mouth xrays and he made an appt for the next day, to fix my front chipped tooth, 2 cavities, as well as a deep cleaning. Dr middleton is a very friendly guy, and he cares about his patients.
I was long overdue for a dental appointment and finally took the steps to look up a dentist in my area covered by my insurance, Delta Dental. Through their site I was able to head over to their Yelp page and see what others were saying about their experience. I loved that this location was close to my home and saw that most reviews were very positive. I was able to get an appointment easily and within a week of when contacted them and they were ready for me right at my appointment time. I thought the staff was friendly, professional and took great care of me and my mouth. I had to get some x-rays done and while the process wasn't the most comfortable with the devices you need to bite on, they did their best to make it an east process. The dentist talked me through what she was seeing with my teeth and while she didn't know my history, since I'm a new patient she was great at explaining what she saw, what I needed done and what I could change in my daily routine to see the best results with my teeth. Unfortunately, I think I learned that I grind my teeth in my sleep. Not great, but I'll be back soon for some appointments to fix my teeth a bit and I'm planning on having this be my regular dentist for the foreseeable future.
My girls are patients at Natomas Dental Crossing. The staff and Doctors here are phenomenal. I recommended my mother to have her veneer work done here. She made the trip from out of town (3.5 hrs) and the Doctor went above and beyond and performed additional treatments on her that were not scheduled just so she wouldn't have to make too many return trips. They are absolutely amazing!

I didn't elect to get the new dental insurance. I want to see what they except before choosing new dental insurance.

If you are looking for a DC to give you a skeletal adjustment that is not much more than a mild massage, Zero Chiropractic is not for you. However, if you need a DC to find and treat the core of your muscular/skeletal related problem, you have the right guy. Each of us has our own individual tolerance for constant pain and we go to DCs hoping to eliminate, or at least reduce, that pain. DC Syl has a unique ability to quickly find the source of your constant pain, and then manipulate the muscles, tendons, bones etc. that are causing your pain. You may think his manipulation is not in the immediate area of your pain, and you are probably right, but then when the pain you were experiencing goes away, you realize this DC knows what he is doing. Sometimes the manipulation itself is painful, but it is never residual, and quickly forgotten when you leave his office feeling much better than when you got there.Some people enjoy going to a DC on regular basis. Not me. About 4 years ago, I treated with DC Syl for a few months for neck and low back issues. I followed his suggestions for home exercises and did not need his help further. I have just recently started seeing him again due to injuries sustained in an unanticipated fall. I was happy he is still practicing in the Sacramento area.

I’m gonna be honest with you. They’re pretty great. I’ve been coming here for a few months and unlike other chiropractors, Dr. Gibson loves to do reports every few months and and get you x-rays to show you your progress which most other chiropractors do not. I even been to the chain called the joint chiropractor. And they never did one x-ray. Another chiropractor a year before that did an x-ray the first time and never after. So I definitely recommend coming here and the prices are competitive.
Amazing adjustment. I am consistently in pain. I was in so much pain coming in. Trouble walking and my whole back and neck, shoulders hurt. I got an adjustment and I am on top of the world!!!

This place is fantastic! I cannot even convey in words how super fantastic. I had a very scary lump appear right in the middle of my cheek. It kept growing quickly during the 4 weeks that I saw other doctors who didn't know what it was or what to do. When I called Laser & Skin Surgery Center of Northern California they were so empathetic and got me in to see Dr. Hedayati the next day. He is so wonderful. He knew what to do right away, explained everything thoroughly, and my anxiety level went down 90%. The nurse medical assistant, Terry, is wonderful too. Both were so empathetic, communicative, knowledgeable and competent. I had been here a year and a half ago for a V-beam treatment and Megan and her assistant were fabulous too. This place is fabulous and you'd be nuts to go anywhere else.
I was referred by my PCP to have a dark spot burnt off my cheek. Sandra Kemptner from Calkin & Boudreaux then asked me if I would like a full body exam to check for any pre cancerous spots. I was treated very professionally and courteously by her and staff on both visits to their office. She was very gentle, but thorough in her exam. Three spots were burned off. I really appreciated how she made me feel at ease by light talk and humor. I will see her again in one year for an annual exam. Will recommend her and this office to any of my friends with dermatologic issues.

We have had such bad experiences with vets prior to this, so this was a lovely change. Everyone was helpful and approachable. We really appreciated how cat friendly the office was and how upfront the office was with costs and procedures. It was also reassuring how many of the staff from our vet to the front desk use the same medication our cat was prescribed for their cats at home.
Arden Animal Hospital is the best Dr Fisk is wonderful with our pets she takes very good care of our Two Kitties rooster and Akiko it's always a good experience Dr Fisk is like Dr Dolittle she talks to the animals absolutely wonderful

My little queen needed some help with derm issues so I took a chance on a new vet (new to us, rather) & I’m very happy I did. Sasha and the team were kind & loving to my sweet baby & gave her the royal treatment she deserves; equally awesome, they explained everything to me, gave us ample products for the queen’s treatment, and they listened/cared about my concerns. Perhaps best of all, I told them Lu has anxiety around other dogs and they performed her intake from outside by our car. I once had a vet in Sacramento forget i was in the waiting room while I tried to be patient and wait for them to come to me; broadway’s lobby is small but comfortable so I don’t feel I must keep reminding staff we exist (apparently sometimes it’s not enough to be physically oresent?$. We shall be back with any future issues the pack may have!
Edit: my review above from 2023 holds firm as my sweet little baby has an ear issue and Broadway Vet has been so great to work with, Dr Sasha very genuinely cares about Lu and that matters 100,000%. Literally the best in town.

I had such a great experience with VIP Petcare! The pre-registration process was simple and quick, and once I arrived, I was in and out within 15 minutes. I really appreciated that they didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary services. In fact, they reviewed what I had chosen and even told me I didn’t need one of the add ons. That honesty goes a long way. The best part was the price. What I paid was extremely affordable. I usually leave the vet paying around $500 per cat, but this visit only cost me $52. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend VIP Petcare to other pet parents.

Updated for 2024! My family has now been taking animals to this facility for years - since 2014! When we first started coming here, we primarily had Dr. Chapman as our vet, but over time we saw Dr. Sangani more and more. A word of advice: the older reviews for the Dr. that talk about rudeness or lack of bedside manner weren't dishonest - /then/. Since 2014 Dr. Sangani has become our *favorite vet*, his manner of speaking and explaining things to people has become so much more welcoming, understanding and patient. Over the years we have fostered a good relationship with him and the wonderful front staff people. It's a relief to know that we can call at 8am and be able to speak to someone on the phone, get advice on what's going on with our pet, and be told to bring them in for help(usually the same week!). If they can't help us, they will refer us to someone who can, but 9/10 times we've been able to have a quick visit, get an antibiotic shot/anti-inflammatory and be on our way. Dr. Sangani also does X-rays and surgeries on site, and he helped us when our older car broke his hind leg years ago. We came out of that with a tri-pawd cat who lived another year or two, happily stumping around on three legs, before the meds he got every week could no longer keep up with his hyperthyroidism. We have had to make the decision to let multiple animals go due to illness over the years, and every time the staff here are kind and considerate - I feel like they love our animals almost as much as we do, and really see the pain we always have in making that final decision. Our house is full of a bunch of softies, so we have a habit of rescuing strays. Because we bring in so many in-need animals ourselves, we understand why Dr. Sangani does the trips he does. Be aware that for at least a couple weeks (sometimes more) a year, the hospital will be closed as Dr. Sangani does missions (a la Doctors without Borders) to help animals in less privileged countries. I am proud to be supporting a vet clinic that does things like that. 5/5 stars for us, and our 9 furry felines (+1 stray we are fostering at the moment!).
We moved here about a year ago and needed somewhere to take our furry family members. The staff is always so nice and they understand that I am a bit overprotective of my dogs? setting up shot appointments was super easy when it was ti.e and they handle our picky pups great!

She was a miracle worker with my dog. My dog was rejected by other groomers and had to be put on tranquilizers for the vet just to get him calm enough to get his nails clipped.
After working with my dog, she was able to figure out what works and didnt need to use a muzzle. She definitely has my business now
I brought my very nervous little poodle mix Gus to Fernando after a bad grooming experience that left Gus extra edgy about grooming and Fernando did the most amazing job with him. A nice clean and close shave for a little guy who came in a matted little mess and has a super fast growing coat. And he even got his face and feet cleaned up which is no easy feat! We will 100% be back! And loved that I could get a 5pm appt as well!

Absolutely the best in the business! Jamie is a true dog whisperer, she’s been grooming my dogs for over 10 years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else. She runs a one-woman operation with a heart of gold, always putting the animals first. From grooming high-risk dogs that chains refuse to handle, to brushing teeth, cleaning anal glands, and even spotting potential health issues....she does it all with care, consistency, and incredible knowledge.
Jamie doesn’t just groom......she guides. She’s pointed out growths, dental issues, weight changes, and more. Before I call the vet, I go to her. She offers advice, treatment options, and questions to ask that have saved me time and money. She’s even helped with leash training and nutrition. Reasonably priced and truly one-of-a-kind, Jamie is a gem!

Cam is truly the best! He takes such great care of my dog, and his grooming skills are absolutely unmatched. I can’t recommend The Rich Groomer enough; I’ve never once been disappointed. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and it’s clear how much Cam genuinely cares about every dog that comes through the door.
Even with reactive dogs, he’s calm, patient, and makes them feel completely comfortable. Both of my dogs are always so excited to see him and leave looking (and feeling) amazing. I can’t rave enough about Cam and this establishment. Hands down the best grooming experience out there!

I finally found a Yoga Studio that I absolutely LOVE!!! I LOVE power Vinyasa in a heated room. Thankful for the Black Friday Special, I'm a member until June. I've been coming anywhere from 1-3 times a week because the classes are just so good. All the instructors are really great too. I love Amy and Natalie.

I highly recommend One Flow Yoga. Being a member for 9 years, I see no reason to check out any other studios. I appreciate the owners, Kate & Tracy and the various other stellar instructors who all have their unique styles, a very clean studio, their excellent customer service and that they personalize my experience with the simple gesture of remembering my name. When needed, I've also opted taking classes on Zoom and doing some of the many On Demand classes available.Check out their website. Stopped in while I was in town for work and the community here was amazing, they were super welcoming and friendly. The facility and the instructor were awesome, and the showers are outdoors which I thought was very zen and cool. Made for a calming end to the practice that day, I wish I had more time while I was in town to stop in some more but I can't wait to come back.
I've been going to Rise for about 6 months now and really love the variety of yoga classes, the instructors, and the amazing community. Fusion Pilates with Bridget was awesome! I'm not new to yoga, but am to Pilates and this was a great intro! The space is calm, friendly and spacious. Bridget was warm and informative right off the bat, and her instruction was easy to understand! I will definitely be back!

One of my favorite yoga studios in Sacramento! It has wonderful teachers and it’s a beautiful studio with lots of beautiful crystals, drums, etc. They have great workshops and retreats too. Sometimes they do outdoor yoga by the river and that is really magical. Highly recommend!

A traditional Thai massage with Tata is the only true relief I’ve ever found for my chronic tension headaches. Other types of massage have been fine, but never really did the trick. I’m so glad I found her. I highly recommend the 90-minute if you can.
A friend recommended lymphatic drainage massage after surgery as my swelling was extensive. I was a bit skeptical at Christina’s technique, but by the end of my sessions (I’ve had 2 so far), I felt immediate relief in the areas where the swelling was most extreme. She was very gentle (which was nice because my limbs were sensitive to touch) and explained what she was doing along the way. She also explained what was happening within my lymphatic system and gave me things to try when feeling discomfort at home and work. I really appreciate Christina and the service she provides and will definitely continue to see her. A plus to all of this is that she is just a kind, open and friendly person and I enjoy conversing with her throughout our sessions. I highly, highly recommend contacting Christina for a lymphatic drainage massage!

My PT Drew Reid was fantastic! Prior to having a total hip replacement in Nov ‘24, I went to another PT. It felt performative. On the other hand,my experience with KPPT/Drew felt collaborative because he listened to my needs, and as a result understood my lifestyle and the resources available to me. He suggested progressively more challenging PT routines based on my feedback and his expertise. I made tangible progress weekly and was able to get back to playing pickleball and cycling around 8 weeks after THR. That’s a huge win in my book! I continued to make tangible progress thereafter and even after “graduating” from PT continue to get stronger.
I have been visiting Billy Martinez for several years to address various health issues related to my osteoarthritis. Different body parts tend to act up, prompting me to seek his help. I had a bad shoulder injury for almost two months. I went to my doctor and proceeded to give me drugs. The pain would not go away. This place was recommended to me by a friend and I've been so impressed. Their pricing is extremely reasonable and I appreciate that they're open in the evenings and weekends. It's a little hippy dippy in that you're in a shared room with people, but I actually really like it (way more than the more clinical feeling place I was going to before). Maya is THE BEST. She has an amazing energy and makes you feel immediately comfortable. I've been seriously impressed by this place. 10/10 recommend!

Pass driving school is excellent. We purchased a 2 hour driving lesson for my son who has never driven before. The teacher was excellent and very patient and did an amazing job with him. They also had the best prices around. Very prompt and courteous. Would highly recommend.

I have recently taken the defensive driving test. It was very informative and the test was very helpful. reminded Me of things I was a little rusty on and things that might have changed over the years. I think everyone should do this test and brush up on things that might have changed over the years. Thank You Improv for a Great course and Thank You to the Improv staff for their courtesy during the test.
Sayed did a good job teaching me!! very patient and gave me instructions in a calm manner and we covered basically all areas of driving. He helped teach me somethings :)
My wife and I decided to go with American Champions because for one it was close to us. Another reason why I went with them is because the owner Brad who is also a driving instructor was very accommodating and willing to work with us in terms of how we wanted to pay for the classes my wife was going to take. We enrolled in the 20 hour lessons which is 2 hours per day of driving lessons which is amazing. Both Brad and his wife are very incredible, they are both patient, understanding, accommodating, very informative and just overall really amazing people to work with. My wife had very easy, enjoyable driving experience with Brad. She learnt a lot from him and also improved on her already driving experience. My wife only did about maybe 10 hours and Brad recommended that she was ready to take the DMV test. We scheduled the DMV test, and she passed. So a big shout out to American Champions for the wonderful experience and the opportunity for my wife to finally obtain her driver's license.

Highly recommend!!! My son had a wonderful experience with the Sacramento Driving School. The instructor was very patient and gave helpful tips for him to pass his test on the first try! He was also always prompt and on time for the pick ups for the appointments. He was incredibly knowledgeable of the roads of the area and helped guide my son through his training. We especially appreciate the service of taking him to the DMV for early practice and the drivers test which further prepared him for it. It was definitely convenient for me as a parent!
I got lucky having a small group, giving us more drive time. All the instructors and manager are great and easy to learn from and spend time with. I genuinely had a good time with the other students and instructors. The zoom class time is awful and boring. I have a feeling it’s more of an issue with corporate 160 but there was only 3 functioning trucks when I graduated (1 manual) and about 20 people to share those trucks. 160 Flint is good to learn how to drive and pass your test, but be a quick learner because classes usually get overbooked and trucks are always breaking.
My experience was great! The driving lessons really prepared me for my final test and helped improve my driving skills.
