Having an engagement hair & makeup appointment with a stylist you've never met before can be nerve-wrecking, but she was wonderful in listening to what I was interested in and brought that vision to light! Makeup was also perfect - she gave me the natural glow/radiant look I was hoping for. Would definitely recommend!

We went to Caston Studios to get portraits of our dog and family. Ed was phenomenal at getting the dog to smile, look at the camera, and look like he was enjoying himself. He is a natural with dogs and also great at putting us humans at ease too! The portraits turned out beautifully and we would highly recommend him.
Just had my first experience with Posh Skin Bar & Spa and what an amazing experience! This is truly a gem to have in our community. My therapist Jenn was great. Corrine has changed my life! I originally saw her many years ago for back pain and weight loss. What I didn't realize at the time that acupuncture can treat you for many things at the same time. I found my intake sessions to be very therapeutic, often times sharing things that I would share with a therapist and I could not be more thankful that I did. Often after treatment I felt amazing, genuinely happy or just centered which was an indicator that she helps with depression and anxiety. I was a life time sufferer of debilitating migraines, sometimes lasting up to 2 weeks. She gave me all kinds of tips and tricks ranging from ingredients to steer clear of to how to use ice to help curtail the migraine. One day during intake she asked about my headaches and I reported that I had not had ANY and I literally was taken aback, not one. She also was able to help me with severe back pain and tips and tricks if it returned. I went several years without a single headache or migraine. Living without the head or back pain was life changing for me. A few years later, after moving to a different state, I got a migraine; I went to an acupuncturist whom I was not impressed with. I reached out to Corrine for a referral and within hours she had connected me with someone in my new city. Subsequently, I returned to Richmond and have been happy to reunite with the growing practice. I will see her if I am getting sick, if we catch it in time, and then I am over it within 3 days. She will refer me to my PCP if I waited too long to see her. After a major car accident, not only did she help me in my recovery process, 2 years later she was able to help me regain some feeling in a finger pad. I could go on and on about the amazing support that she has been in my life and her treatments. Boulders Acupuncture & Natural Healthcare is the first place to go for ailments and if you need to go to a PCP or specialist, they will tell you. I have referred her to clients, colleagues and strangers.

Had a fantastic experience with Omega. I think I found them on a FB group when we realized we thought we found mold on the wall in our home. I reached out and they got back to me quickly and could see me the same week. For reference I called another company and they couldn’t come out for two + weeks. As someone who has never dealt with mold before I didn’t want this lingering!! It was scary! Glenn came out and was super helpful and professional. Very understanding of our situation and insurance probably not helping. His team, I believed Skyler was on site for the remediation and they were so kind and polite. We found the source of the mold which wasn’t what we thought it was and it was done quickly and efficiently. Everything from start to finish was a pleasant experience and I’d highly recommend their team!
Absolutely amazing company!! different company said my entire window would have to be replaced ($10K) "no other option". Billy and his team FIXED my window without replacement within 2 days of contacting them for a fraction of the replacement quote. His Crew was friendly and the window is now water sealed. they used PVC material as the replacement instead of wood. so i wont have another problem in the future. cant recommend them enough.

I can confidently say that in my 10 years of getting highlights, balayage, all-over color, Rachel is the best there is. I lived in Richmond, Delaware, Pennsylvania and NYC and I’ve truly have found no one better. I have naturally nearly black hair and Rachel does her highlights so perfectly that I have gone 6+ months (hello, pandemic) without seeing her and my grown out highlights still looked amazing! If you’re looking for an incredible stylist who knows what’s she’s doing, is down-to-earth, doesn’t try to sell you on a million products (I don’t think she’s ever tried to sell me on anything in the last 3 years I’ve been seeing her), and wants to make her clients the best version of themselves, then go see Rachel.

This was my second visit and just love the work Bekah puts in to each session. After thinking I ruined my entire head- I left feeling it was all intentional. She never shames me or makes me feel my dreads were beyond help- and really should come more often - if I didn’t live so far ( which is why it’s so hard for me to go get routine maintenance anywhere). The shop is pretty eclectic with Art, clothing and the coolest dog and shoulder cat in the RIC area! I appreciate you !!

A few months ago I stopped in to buy my usual products. The staff was very friendly. Yesterday I went in for a haircut with a newer stylist, Abby. She did a great job of making sure she understood what I wanted and that I was satisfied at the end. I didn't mind, but it did take longer than usual-but that's normal when you are trying to save money with a newer stylist. In all, I'll definitely be back!
I had seen Shadonna’s mobile salon for months and was intrigued, so on the spur of the moment I called, and she was able to squeeze me in at her salon suite location in Willow Lawn. I had an excellent experience at Confedent Barbershop! My son and I were running a little late, but Wathiq (I believe he’s the owner) was incredibly understanding, polite, and kind. Even though the shop was very busy, he still welcomed us in, which saved us a lot of time since we had driven 40 minutes to get there. He even offered us drinks, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Marcus, who cut my son’s hair, did an amazing job. I showed him a picture of the style we wanted, and he matched it perfectly. My son was so happy with the result!

This is an excellent example of high-quality customer service and business integrity. The cut I received was done quick and done well. Decided to get my first ever spray tan here for my birthday. Although I was a little nervous, the staff were professional, supportive, and welcoming, helping me to choose a solution and walking me through the process. Their assistance with placing barrier cream, blending the solution in certain areas after application, and setting certain areas with a little powder ensured a flawless application. A day later, I look AMAZING - this is hands down the most natural tan I've received! Between that and the lovely staff, I will 100% be returning again!
I got a spray tan from Alison for my vacation and she was super personable, made me feel really comfortable and did a thorough job! Not rushed at all and they even keep your shade on file in case you want to go lighter / darker in the future. I'll def be going back!

I get my nails done once a year, but have been going to Tina for about 3. She's friendly, and her service is great. My mani and pedi usually last for a few weeks, and I get regular polish on my toes. I typically get gel on my nails, but recently tried dip powder. My nails feel super strong and the polish has not chipped at all after a week (with gel I'll get scratches sometimes).
I had been following her on Instagram for a few months "thelashlady_roz" and I was a fan of her work. I have had bad experiences with eyelash extensions in the past and I was not easily sold by a nice IG profile. Anywhoo - I had a girls trip scheduled and I wanted to glam up a little bit so I decided to try her out. The location is very easy to find, however pulling around the back - not so much. This was NO issue for me because I was given to option to enter through the front and ring the doorbell. Easy, enough. Her studio is cute and shared with a hair salon in the front (with possibly other businesses that I did not take note of) - it is decorated with flower wall decor and a nice luxury chair, pillow and soft blanket to relax in. She keeps the Pandora playlist on 90s R&B which is a plus for me. She is always offering flash sales and deals, so she keeps things exciting and affordable. She is very professional, honest and knowledgeable. She works fast but keep in mind installation usually takes about 2 hours and fills about an hour. Zero pain and gorgeous results. Highly recommend!

Location of this place is inside sola salon studios and the stairs were a killer for me due to health issues. They do have a tv showing where to find each person which is a plus!Shannon is fabulous! On time and friendly. There are chairs for you to wait and she was on time. Right there by the stairs too.Redeeming Groupon isn’t an issue or hard at all and she doesn’t treat you any different!Not afraid to touch you and get all hair removed! Loved our conversation and had no issue finding parking or the place. She also is super fast! This is the fastest I ever gotten waxed. 15 min or less and perfect if anyone is on lunch break or right before or after work. Not aftercare instructions but I’m not a newbie so I’m ok with that. There’s no liner on table just a black mat that she sanitizes after each person and that took me aback.It does say carytown square. She is great and I will refer many people to her! I appreciate her business and although I would love to return, them stairs got me beat.

I really love the massage experience at Pneuma Wellness. This is the second time I’ve gotten a massage from Marvin, and it was excellent. He asks about specific pains and works the right muscles without creating additional pain during the massage. He also takes extra time with you if you need it, and does what’s necessary for your body, for example using heated stones. Overall great experience!
Absolutely incredible experience for my Brazilian wax with Ashley. It was my 3rd wax but 1st time with ashley at glomed and i will absolutely never go anywhere else! The atmosphere and staff were so sweet, and inviting. Ashley listened and gave me everything I asked for, and was so nice to talk to the entire time. I went in expecting pain & came out beyond impressed and relieved there was no pain because she followed the hair growth pattern and correct technique! Already cant wait for my next appointment!
My girlfriend and I were staying 2 nights at the Hilton and decided to do a couples massage. Julienne and Parker were AMAZING. Very thorough check in process. Before the massage, they asked if we had any specific requests and gave us the full rundown because it was our first ever full body massage. The massage itself was AMAZING. Afterwards, my girlfriend and I felt like we were floating with serenity. Would DEFINITELY recommend to anyone staying at the Hilton or nearby in the Short Pump area.

Live Fancy Makeup really helped transform me from a lil tomboy to a bride, lol. Shannon was great to work with. She is extremely talented and professional. She was very punctual and consistent in her communication with me. She graciously conducted two trials before the wedding day and she was very receptive and welcoming to feedback. I sent her reference photos and she was able to implement changes that aligned with my vision. I really wanted a natural look and she delivered. I got my makeup done at 9:30 for a 1pm ceremony. The makeup lasted all day (I washed it off that evening before bed) with no cracking or creasing. I just needed to reapply lip stick, but it was a lot going on so it didn’t happen, lol. I highly recommend her and I would choose Live Fancy Makeup all over again.

Victoria did makeup and hair for my wedding. I did a trial with her beforehand and felt like she really listened to what I wanted and made adjustments to things I asked her to. Everyone looked amazing amazing on the day of the wedding. Unfortunately she had an unexpected situation arise that made her late. Thankfully she had an awesome assistant already working with us until she could get there. When Victoria did arrive, she was calm and got right to work so everyone was ready on time for the ceremony.

I started my leg sleeve with Dylan, and the entire experience was great. Everyone i met and spoke with were super nice. I had a really BAD tattoo experience back in Aug. of 2024. I loved my tat but he went waaaayyyy tooooo deep and caused blurring. The cause of the blurring was my reasoning. I went to Amy, today, with some suggestions to fix the blurring. I explained what I was thinking and she just drew, freehand, exactly what I described. I was nervous because of the excruciating pain of my tat back in Aug. She worked her magic and the pain level was 1 with a pain scale of 1-10. I barely noticed she was giving me a tattoo. My design is exquisite to my eye. The level of color is the exact same as my tat that hurt like an SOB back in Aug. Amy is a TRUE artist and is a gem on Cary Street in Richmond, Va.

I went to Emily (@erea.tattoo) for a scorpion tattoo. Her skill is exemplary - light touch and great precision. We got to talking about a 1/4 sleeve floral project I’ve been wanting to find someone to do. Emily was super excited to draw up the art for it and I went in last week and got the best tattoo. Again such a great touch and the color is packed in perfectly. My favorite tattoo by far! And they both healed spectacularly.
They take their time and the tattoo was neat. I going back to get another one.

I had a great experience with Nucklos Plumbing and installing our tank less water heater last week. Installation was done in a day and the system works great. Stephen was the installer along with an apprentice. I chose Nuckols because of their reputation and experience putting him Navien systems. Their estimate and pricing was clear to understand.
I had another company previously come out and fail to clear a drain. It was free of charge but left me worse off than I started. Chris and Melissa showed up today and explained everything in full detail as they went and actually cleared the drain when all was said and done. Full transparency throughout and very pleasant professionals to work with.
Will happily call Zoom Drain for additional plumbing and drain needs in the future!

Our experience was an excellent experience! We had what I thought was a fuse out in the circuit box, but it was actually a different issue, causing the power outage in our home. When calling to make an appointment, the woman who was taking appointments was excellent! Very friendly and courteous! When our electrician Joe arrived, he was very polite, punctual. Joe was able to identify the problem and come up with a solution in a timely manner and provided an upfront estimate before starting the work. This is refreshing because some contractors will give you a bill at the end and not actually give you an estimate. The quality of work was excellent, and the price Was very reasonable! Joe also informed us that we may want to replace our electrical panel since it is about 40 years old. He gave a good faith estimate and there was no sales pitch or pressure. Joe is a super friendly person and very knowledgeable as an expert in his field! Joe is our Go to guide for all future electrical needs!

I highly recommend Wilber for any electrical project that you have. The thing I like most about Wilber and his team is that he actually explains things to you and shows you why things need to be x or y. I am the type of home owner who actually wants to learn and see what's going on with projects at my house and Wilber very thoroughly explained all the things he needed to do and gave me lots of advice on future things I could even do myself! Wilber came to my house multiple times to make sure things went well with the inspection and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Im fully switched over to my new electrical panel and 200amp service and everything is working great. If you want an electrician who actually explains things to you and who treats you with respect then C&W is who you should call.

I scheduled four electricians to provide quotes on relocating a point of attachment. The last company I met with was J&M Electrical Services, and Jason stood out for his honesty compared to the others. My initial plan was to move the point of attachment from the second-floor porch to the ground level for tenant safety and to meet Dominion Energy requirements.
Instead of just quoting the job, Jason asked thoughtful questions about why I wanted the work done that way. After reviewing the situation, he explained there was a better approach that would still meet requirements while saving me thousands of dollars. He went above and beyond by working directly with Dominion Energy to ensure the project was done correctly and cost-effectively.
The other three electricians didn’t offer this solution
they only saw the project as a way to make money. Jason’s integrity and willingness to look out for my best interest speak volumes about his character and about J&M Electrical Services.

The technician (James) was about to quickly diagnose and resolve my issue. He also gave me tips on maintaining my appliance in the future. While no one likes or expects an appliance emergency, RVA repairs able to take care of it skillfully and efficiently! I will definitely be using them in the future for my appliance needs.

Working with Rainbow Restoration and Garrett has been smooth and seamless. From replacing a leaking spigot to inspecting water damage, they call you and schedule you quickly!
Back in March, 2025 they replaced an outside leaking spigot that I had ignored for a few years. They gave me a a great price and fixed it within a week! There was a little water left in my crawlspace from the work but I was able to clean it up easily.
My experience with them has been great so far! I will be working with them on some water damage in my kitchen from outside and will update this review once all of the work is complete.
I am extremely pleased with the service. Everything from start to finish was perfect. Every person that I had contact with, whether in person or by telephone was very professional and also very friendly and personable.
The rugs came back beautifully and looked like new even though they are 20 year old rugs. They came back with new pads which were thicker and softer than our previous pads.
They also cleaned our wall to wall carpets in the upstairs bedrooms and it looks better than ever before. I already referred my neighbors and daughter.

What a wonderful and refreshing experience I had with Sharmaine’s cleaning. This Farm House needed some deep cleaning and because Sharmaine uses non-toxic supplies, I did not worry about my little parakeet, Tweetie Bird and did not have concern about my elderly dog.
Sharmaine was a fresh breath of air, and a dose of sunshine, all in one, as she energetically introduced herself, entered my house with her supplies and got to work.
The house was squeaky clean and smelled refreshed when she ended.

Worked with Elwood and Rick after our home had some fairly extensive water damage. They were great to work with. They were on-site for the insurance adjusters walk though and ensured all damage was accounted for in the estimate. They have outstanding subs that they work with that made the process smoother. The renovations done by this company to our 2 bathrooms were amazing. The price was within range, the work was prompt and it was a pleasure working with everyone. absolutely amazing experience. Everyone at Creative Contracting was amazing and so easy to work with. I wanted the painting to start the day that I closed on my new house and I wanted to be able to move in within 2 weeks of closing and Brad made it happen! I had every square inch of my house painted in less than 2 weeks and it looks like it took a month. These guys are perfectionists and take the time to do it right and still get the job done on time. There were even multiple unforeseen things along the way that required a lot more time to do correctly and Brad upped the manpower to get them done and stay on schedule. Also during the project, I decided I wanted to do a few other things that required a contractor and electrician and Brand had those guys here the next day doing the work. I am amazed at what a stellar job they did and how quickly they were able to do it as well. I am known to have unachievable high standards and definitely do not throw out rave reviews lightheartedly, so I can say with extreme confidence you will love working with Creative Contracting and will be blown away with what they can do. After my experience, I can without a doubt say I am a customer for life.
This is the second time I have had work performed by Add-A-Deck. First time 25 years ago and now this summer. I can't say enough good things about this company. First off the plans drawn up by Steve gave me a good idea of what to expect when the project was finished. Needless to say upon completion of the multilevel deck and the newly stone patio we were extremely satisfied we chose Add-A-Deck once again. The work crew made sure each day to pick up any trash, drink cans etc and not to leave even a cigarette butt on the ground. They have the best carpenters who take PRIDE in their work!!!!! I signed up for this service because of the extreme amount of mosquitoes that were at my residence when I moved here. I was concerned because of my dogs and the fact that mosquitoes are the main transmitter of heartworm. This is the 2nd year I have used their services. And there's been a noticeable reduction in mosquitoes and ticks.

I had a very good experience with Ross Termite, they had come out to spray for pest control around and inside the house. They and were on time and professional. I have two dogs and they made sure what they were spraying was not toxic to dogs. They also made sure to wear a mask and gloves which was very much appreciated. I will be using them quarterly and look forward to referring them to others!

Eric is the epitome of the American small business owner. I called him to help me fix a drainage issue I was having in my yard that was causing damage to my garage. He was easy to get in contact with. He promptly came over to give me an estimate, and he was the one who showed up to do the work. His estimate was higher than others, but that was because he proposed a more permanent solution. His knowledge was evident, and his solution, while more expensive, was what we really wanted. This was not even presented as an option by other quotes. In a business environment that seems to be a race to the bottom with high overhead, choose Eric. You won’t get all the flash, but you’ll get expert work at a reasonable price.
The Green Dream team was so great to work with. They recently did a number of projects in my yard, which included clearing and grading, installing a new irrigation zone, laying sod and extending a sump pump drainage pipe. The projects were completed in a timely manner and the yard is looking great! Highly recommend.

I could not find anything to complain about if I tried. Every job is always done perfectly, their arboreal knowledge is unsurpassed, they are always on time, and very polite. I only wish all my contractors were as good as Truetimber.
When they had an opening in their schedule, they offered to move up the scheduled date for my tree work (no pressure), were able to bring out the bucket-truck, and knocked my job out in less than a full day. The crew was on-point and totally blitzed the job. They laid down heavy geo-mats for the heavy traffic areas and kept the yard damage to a minimum. Good cleanup job after they were finished too. Highly recommend
Luke, at Humanitree, has been out to our house three times total and we would never call anyone else. He is quick, respectful, responsive and his prices are not to be beat! Most recently he removed a neighbors tree that fell on our fence. He was able to quickly remove it and not disrupt or break our fence anymore than the initial fall created. I was a patient at this practice for an implant over a decade ago and it has been excellent. The work was done by Dr. Catoggio who was excellent to work with and did excellent work. I recently had an issue almost 13 years later where the crown was becoming somewhat loose; I did not trust the advice of my primary dentist on this and so wanted to call this office to get their advice even though it had been so long since they saw me. Not only was the staff excellent and listening to my story and trying to help, but when they realized I was not living in the area any longer and it wasn't practical to come in they got me on the line with Dr. Catoggio who was more than happy to speak with me and provide essentially a mini consult about my situation. It gave me a lot of reassurance and I can't thank him and the practice enough for delivering the kind of quality care and concern they do. It goes without saying but I highly highly recommend this practice!
I cannot say enough good about the Oley family and their offices! The Oley family (both dentists and their mom) were so kind, helpful, and did everything they could to put me at ease. There were multiple visits involved and ended with 2 root canals. On all visits, they were patient, answered all my questions, thoroughly explained what would happen next, and VERY gentle! Shout out to Jacob (Mechanicsville location), the dental assistant, as well. He was so kind and professional. I wish I could give 10 stars!

I've never sat in a waiting room at Partners in Pediatrics, nor have we ever waited anywhere else there other than a few minutes for on-premise lab stuff to happen. The office is always spotless, medical and admin staff know you by name, and they remember your kids and their histories. Dr. Smith is knowledgeable and professional, and is usually the person who answers the members line on weekends. Our kids feel comfortable and safe there. Couldn't ask for more, really.

I would highly recommend Shaw Chiropractic Center to anyone who’s suffered with long-term Chronic Pain OR just wants to keep their body aligned. I’ve been to Chiro’s years prior with no relief. I work overnights and sometimes those overnights will send me into a flare-up. DR. SHAW TO THE RESCUE!!! Dr. Shaw takes the time and has the patience to really observe your alignment and knows what to do immediately when he see’s something out of line. I’ve had countless days and nights of pain, but it has since been alleviated with the help of Dr. Shaw. I couldn’t be anymore grateful to know he will fix me right on up!!
Dr. Walentin is a great chiropractor! I’m so glad he opened his practice in New Kent because a chiropractor office was really needed on this end of town. Going to him has been helping my back pain tremendously. I also love that he doesn’t go through insurances and you can just buy package deals to get more of a discount. Going through insurance would actually cost more for me and this way you don’t have to deal with the headache of insurance. He’s also never pushy or tries to get you to come in more than you need like many other offices I have been to. All of the staff are just lovely too!

I was waiting in the waiting room during my wife's visit recently and we love the care she got, the nurses were very helpful and the nurse doctor was very kind. The only thing I did not like was how the check in person was rude to people on the phone, would swear, and was always on his cell phone. NOT very professional! Need to learn how to talk to people in a doctors office, because this is NOT the kind of person I would want as the face of mu business!

We have been going to Locke A Taylor for two years. I’m so sad to be leaving Richmond and not be able to take them with me. My pup loves the care he received here.
I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Michael Higginbotham and his team during my visit for my dog. Dr. Higginbotham was extremely helpful, took the time to thoroughly explain everything, and clearly demonstrated his expertise in the field. He made me feel confident and comfortable with my dogs MRI results and provided an accurate diagnosis. He even showed me the MRI images and pointed out the specific issues, which was very reassuring. I never felt rushed, and I truly appreciated the care and attention my dog received while there. Although he wasn’t able to perform one of the optional treatments himself, he recommended an oncologist who may be able to help my dog further.
While the services were expensive, I can confidently say it was well worth it for the professional care and the peace of mind from finally getting the correct diagnosis. His assistant was kind and caring, and the front desk staff was attentive and welcoming. I highly recommend this veterinary office for anyone in need of specialized care for their pet.
The level of care my cat received was impressive. I went in with all I had and they did what was needed to find out what was going on. Blood work,x-rays,medication, update vaccine plus full examination standard fees is cost$223. All I had was $42. And thats what it costed. Full top-notch services given with kindness and care!
I went to the emergency room without an appointment. The attention from the receptionist to the doctor and other staff was excellent.
Dr. Jane took wonderful care of my cat Marlowe for the entire seven years that I had him.
Marlowe had some upper respiratory issues (later diagnosed as chronic rhinitis and congenital nasopharyngeal stenosis). Dr. Jane gave great advice for managing his condition and referred me to a great specialist when he had to have a rhinoscopy done.
Dr. Jane was always direct with me about my options, how it would affect Marlowe’s quality of life, how likely the treatment or medication was to solve the problem, and how much it would cost. I always had faith in her recommendations and never believed she would advise surgery or a procedure for Marlowe unless it was truly in his best interest.
I had plenty of times where Marlowe exhibited minor symptoms that concerned me (ie sneezing, holding one eye closed, one time he got stung by a bee, etc). I would call the office or email in asking if Dr. Jane could advise. She always got back to me same day (either via email or calling) and was always happy to answer questions.
Marlowe did not enjoy going to the vet, but Dr. Jane and all the staff were so sweet with him every time we went in. I always told him “you’re just going to stop by so everyone can tell you how handsome you are!”
Marlowe died very unexpectedly on August 23rd, 2025 just shy of his 8th birthday. It was a weekend, so an emergency vet handled his cremation. I emailed Scott’s Addition Animal Hospital to let them know the news and got a call from Dr. Jane on Monday. She was so kind and had such wonderful caring things to say about Marlowe. She helped me understand the most likely cause of his death, which helped me to find closure. She talked to me for a while and told me to reach out if I needed anything or needed to talk again.
I am so grateful for everything she and all the staff did for Marlowe. If I ever have another pet, I would entrust their care to this team.

I love Dr. Zuccaro (Dr. Mike is what I refer to him as, but he also goes by Dr. Z. LOL) and his entire team. I started going there a little over 15 years ago with my yellow lab, Harley. I recently had to put her down, and he was so kind and sweet. He remembered me bringing her in the first time and how they saved her life as a 7.6 lbs puppy. His clinic was the only one she ever visited, and I will continue to see only him and his team for all my future pet care needs. I highly recommend his clinic.
Dr.Kathy is extremely kind and compassionate and very understanding when it comes to end of life for your fur baby. She came to our home and helped put us at ease when it was time for our Lola to cross over the rainbow bridge. She let us take our time with her, she was gentle with her explanations on what was going to happen and she gave our Lola so much love and respect. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to help us through the most difficult time of our life. Dr.Kathy thank you for everything that you did for our Lola.
I couldn’t recommend The Fan Veterinary Clinic more! I’ve been taking my pets here since I moved to Richmond in 2019 and they’ve been the best vet I’ve ever been too—hands down. They are so reasonably priced, don’t try to scam or up sale, and genuinely care for your pets! I took my dog to the urgent vet and had a horrific experience, and followed up Monday with the fan and we did so much more for a fraction of the price AND they called the next day to check on her ? they are so sweet and thoughtful! If you’re looking for a less stressful vet visit for both, your furry friends and yourself, give Capital Home Veterinary Care a try. CHVC was able to fit us in and help us with allergies that both our dogs were having. Our dogs were not stressed and it was such an easy visit.
I have been taking my poodles to Good Dog Grooming for the last 9 years. I love the quality care and grooms my pups get. Colleen is the best .
Very pleased with their grooming! It’s hard to find a place that can successfully de-shed my dog and they did a great job. 2 hours and he was in and out looking great. Lovely staff
Evelyn did the best job ever on our cockapoo Peanut. Peanut has a lot of anxiety and she did great with him!! Attention to detail is unmatched, she took her time with him which is much appreciated. She was also able to pluck his ears which was great. We like to get Peanut cut low and look how cute he looked afterwards! Highly recommend
I highly recommend the Doggielama! I have an anxious fearful dog from a prior grooming experience before discovering Doggielama, Ash with the Doggielama has been great working with him for the past three years, she goes at his pace and does not push his limits. So thankful to have a groomer who prioritizes the dog experience when grooming. We also love our Mohawk cut we have been getting, so fun! We love the Doggielama ??
AMAZING service and even more amazing humans working here. Finding a groomer for a cat is difficult. They are far and few between, finding one short notice - FORGET ABOUT IT! My little dude had a litter box disaster this morning and I did what I could but I needed help, some fur trimming, a mat located in a very precarious place. Theresa not only fit me in, but did such an amazing job with a 10 month old kitten who had never been to a groomer. The other groomer there, Ascher (sp? ) gave me such valuable information to help at home. My little dude is more comfortable and all is well. Pets are family and they treat them as such. I watched as they groomed two pups as well. I have a groomer!
My dog hates being groomed (sensitive scalp apparently!) but the groomers here take so much care to keep her comfortable it’s amazing! She always came home exhausted before bc she was so stressed but she has energy coming from after being groomed here and that tells me everything. Plus she is very clean and tidy :) we can only go here now
Would definitely recommend C.C. pet spa to others. They do a great job grooming my medium sized golden doodle!

My girl absolutely loves it here!! She’s still a puppy and has very bad anxiety, but is always so happy to come here! When we tell her it’s time to go to daycare or boarding, she gets her harness and runs to the front door with it and waits there until it’s time to go! When we drop her off, she gets so excited she can barely even contain herself and immediately runs over to the staff to give them hugs and kisses and everyone working is always so thrilled to see her. And since she has such bad anxiety, this is always really nice to see. I always feel comfortable leaving after drop off and always feel heart warmed by how happy she is to see all the staff and how happy they are to see her too! And on top of that, they have excellent prices!! I couldn’t recommend Dog’s Day Inn enough!!
Best groomers in town! Great prices and the best service. They truly care about your pet and your needs.
The staff here are so kind and friendly. My dog, Cosette, begins smiling and wiggling as soon as we walk in the door. It is a 'no frills' place but my dog doesn't need a pool or gym equipment. She needs a loving staff and plenty of dogs to play with. It is affordable and they will even bath her and trim her nails for me. She goes to daycare 2 days a week. Because she has so many positive interactions there, she was comfortable being boarded for a few days.
I love my dog groomers. They are very good to my dogs and cut the way I ask.
These guys do a great job with the pups and are always accommodating! There is usually a bunch of dogs waiting around in the grooming area so it feels like an indoor dog park too!
They take great care of my dog when I vacation. He enjoys his time immensely.
SoulShine is a hidden gem in Stony Point Mall. The owner is amazing. I attended a bridal shower which was not the original location that it was supposed to take place in but everything happens for a reason. The owner was accommodating, polite, and has such a beautiful spirit. This place is a complete vibe If could give it more than five stars I would. Had such a good time I forgot to take pics.

I've had one yoga instructor before relocating to the Richmond area. I was feeling some nerves about starting anew but was fortunate to be directed to Glenmore Yoga. The atmosphere is welcoming and peaceful. The staff and yogis are kind, gracious and caring and are invested in everyone’s success. Students are guided to work to their ability and there is no pressure to go beyond what's right for the individual. I leave refreshed and happy with the time and care given to my body. It’s always a good day at Glenmore!
Robbie is an incredible instructor that meets your body's individual needs. I had a back injury and had him come to my home for a few months until I was able to drive again. He is incredibly intuitive and he follows you through out the sessions.I'm on my 8th year with Robbie.I am so grateful for him.Blessings,Stacey D.

I have been a member since 2016. They have knowledgeable teachers and "hot" classes! I always feel fantastic after class...de-stressed, detoxed, and refreshed. The facility is clean and the members friendly. All are welcome and accepted at this studio. I am a member for life.
The instructors do make sure you are engaged in the session by making you feel comfortable, especially for beginners. The staff was helpful and they patiently answered all the queries I had. I will definitely come back for more sessions.
Great class! Instructor was very attentive and you can tell she cares about your form while also making it challenging. Lavender towels at the end were awesome and left feeling great!! Definitely recommend this studio:)
Niche offers an incredible Pilates teacher training. The master trainers, Jaclyn and Joelle, are truly masters of their profession. They have created an environment for each instructor in training to learn and grow to their full potential. I now send everyone that is interested in teaching to this training.
Andrea Jackson is a fantastic instructor and mentor. She will help you listen and connect to your amazing body in ways you never imagined. I highly recommend her classes!

Update 70 classes: I feel more comfortable with the ins and outs of the machine. The exercises still challenge me which is good because I get bored.
This place will change your body like whoa!! After 30 classes my abs and core have never felt and looked stronger :) The coaches are great and the location is clean and safe.
Beautiful spa, you would never know this amazing place was in an office complex but well worth finding. I have been twice and both times the massages have been perfect. Will be back again
Had a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Deya today and it was awesome! I was able to fully relax and she hit the areas that I noted were of a concern. I will continue to tell others of Awaken and how it's atmosphere and service is the best

Ivan helped me realize I didn't have to just live with migraines by introducing me to craniosacral massage and jaw massage. I am a therapist, and I recommend Ivan for your mental health!! :D

Hands down, Kavita Dasjot Kaur is the very best massage therapist I have ever had! Her intuitive abilities are astounding. She ‘sees’ and ‘reads’ your physical body, your light body, your astral body, and the subtle workings of the many dimensional layers that make up a complete human. I trust her without reservation as a true healer as I’ve experienced deep somatic release and realignment at her hands. She is also a gifted teacher of many beautiful practices such as Kundalini yoga and Sadhana. I highly recommend all of her services and her smoothies are the bomb!
Went to Nimbus today for the first time and had a wonderful experience! The vibe is very cozy and inviting. I worked with Cameron and got one of the best massages I have *ever* had. He was super attentive and clearly very skilled! I am a massage therapist myself and was very impressed. I will be back— thank you!

I got a facial with Christie and it was seriously amazing! She's the owner which I didn't know until I got there. Christie was so sweet, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about what she does! I chatted with her some and she answered all my questions in detail. The facial was so relaxing and even had a nice neck, shoulder, and arm massage mixed in. Everything smelled amazing and I left feeling relaxed and energized!

Sheltering Arms Bon Air Therapists are amazing!!! They are confident and make you confident and comfortable that “you can do this “! They work hard to get you from point a to point z. I accomplish something different each time I come. Would recommend them hands down every single time!!
My Dad is currently going there for PT following a broken hip. EVERYBODY there is beyond OUTSTANDING, from the Front Desk Staff to the Aids to the Therapists. They have a Super Great facility, with a lot of equipment. His chart follows him from station to station, and whoever is nearby when his timer goes off, will help him to the next station (whether they’re his “assigned” aid or therapist). They’re all super friendly & knowledgeable. One thing we’ve noticed, is that when they tell you a specific exercise that they want you to do, they don’t leave it at that. Rather, they tell you why they want you doing it (doing this strengthens this to help you do that). We’ve both been to other PT companies that just say to do, with no explanation. Also, they give you your full time allocation, rather than just a few minutes. If you need extra rest breaks, they’re factored in as well, so you might be there more than an hour, to make sure that you receive all of the PT that you’re due. I’d recommend them highly. On the way home from the first visit, I told Dad that I’d go there the next time that I need PT.
If you have family here, please check on them. There was ants in her room, someone else's feces on the wall, medication and on the floor. A trash bag tied to the hose was used for a catheter bag. Food was terrible. I wouldn't give them 1 star if it was possible . The care here is basically non existent. This place and the way they cared for my sister is unacceptable, she was laying in her own feces. we had her removed from there yesterday. And I honestly lost sleep last night knowing I couldn't help other people there. this place needs shut down and investigated. if anyone else has had issues there please contact me.

As someone who had never been to physical therapy before, I wasn’t sure what to expect—but I couldn’t be more impressed. I came in with persistent foot pain that had stumped everyone: my primary care doctor, a podiatrist, even custom orthotics and metatarsalgia pads didn’t help. Within 10–15 minutes, Dr. Jeff had a working diagnosis that actually made sense—and best of all, it worked. I’ve only had three sessions so far, but I noticed a real difference after just two. I’m now able to run again (currently once a week), and the pain is gone.
The facility is clean, well-equipped, and there’s plenty of parking. The staff is friendly, professional, and clearly knowledgeable. Even when the practice gets busy (which says a lot), you still receive personal attention and quality care. The training staff is efficient and always on point.
I would recommend Richmond PT to anyone—whether you’re new to PT or have tried everything else without results, this is the place to go.
I recently attended physical therapy at this clinic for several months. I appreciated how patient and adaptable the physical therapist was. I felt like he understood the issues I was having and was willing to meet me where I was instead of forcing me into a pre-scripted program . Each staff member at the clinic is kind and helpful and I would highly recommend.
I have had two unrelated issues for which I've needed therapy and have had THE best experience each time with Sara Creger as my PT. First and foremost, she asks the right questions and she listens to her patients (at every session) so that she has all the information she needs to deliver the most effective therapy . Sara is kind, knowledgeable, efficient, and strong! And she has excellent awareness when it comes to gauging patient abilities and limits. I highly recommend Sara if you're in need of PT!
I’ve been going to RVA Acupuncture for two months now. I’ve been dealing with major joint pain, insomnia, and hot flashes. Vicky has helped with all of these! I was having trouble progressing with physical therapy because my stiffness was so bad. Acupuncture helped to relieve some of this which helped make my exercises more effective. I was also having hot flashes all night, which was disturbing my sleep. Now I don’t have any hot flashes at all. Initially, my insomnia was terrible. I was only sleeping 3 to 5 hours a night. This week, I was sleeping 8 to 10!
I am most appreciative for Vicky’s willingness to make adaptations. I can sometimes be very high maintenance due to my unique issues! I can only lay on my back, so she has been gracious about helping me in this position. She also has special tools that have helped me with my skin and other nervous system problems. She used a blue light therapy pad on me one day to help with my skin. Another day, she used a grounding pad because my legs were feeling staticky.
I’ve done acupuncture before, but her approach with electro Acupuncture is so unique. There is no doubt that using microcurrent helps to speed up the healing process!

A skeptic until the next morning after my first visit when I woke up to NO pain in my back, minimal discomfort from my IT Band/knee and my persistent headache (anisoscoria) was nearly gone. Pleasantly surprised and the staff was incredibly kind, and thoroughly professional. Definitely NOT a skeptic any longer!

Corrine has changed my life! I originally saw her many years ago for back pain and weight loss. What I didn't realize at the time that acupuncture can treat you for many things at the same time. I found my intake sessions to be very therapeutic, often times sharing things that I would share with a therapist and I could not be more thankful that I did. Often after treatment I felt amazing, genuinely happy or just centered which was an indicator that she helps with depression and anxiety. I was a life time sufferer of debilitating migraines, sometimes lasting up to 2 weeks. She gave me all kinds of tips and tricks ranging from ingredients to steer clear of to how to use ice to help curtail the migraine. One day during intake she asked about my headaches and I reported that I had not had ANY and I literally was taken aback, not one. She also was able to help me with severe back pain and tips and tricks if it returned. I went several years without a single headache or migraine. Living without the head or back pain was life changing for me. A few years later, after moving to a different state, I got a migraine; I went to an acupuncturist whom I was not impressed with. I reached out to Corrine for a referral and within hours she had connected me with someone in my new city. Subsequently, I returned to Richmond and have been happy to reunite with the growing practice. I will see her if I am getting sick, if we catch it in time, and then I am over it within 3 days. She will refer me to my PCP if I waited too long to see her. After a major car accident, not only did she help me in my recovery process, 2 years later she was able to help me regain some feeling in a finger pad. I could go on and on about the amazing support that she has been in my life and her treatments. Boulders Acupuncture & Natural Healthcare is the first place to go for ailments and if you need to go to a PCP or specialist, they will tell you. I have referred her to clients, colleagues and strangers.

My interactions with Chandra were the most extensive, and I was impressed by her exceptional teaching skills. I would wholeheartedly recommend this driving school to anyone seeking instruction. She accommodated my schedule, displayed a warm and friendly demeanor, and maintained a humble approach. Notably, she never made me feel uncomfortable about being 40 years old in a classroom with students significantly younger than me. The students entering the classroom showed respect for her, indicating a strong teacher-student bond. It was clear that she derives genuine satisfaction from her job and is deeply committed to providing the best learning experience for all her students. Chris was also an outstanding instructor. When I needed to refresh my skills on backing into a parking space between two cars, he provided clear guidance. His soft-spoken nature made him easy to ride with, and he proved to be an excellent teacher. He helped me master parallel parking, a task I had never been able to accomplish until he showed me the correct technique, all without inducing any frustration. ?
My driving instructor was Mr. Tillar. He was extremely patient and did a great job of coaching/teaching rather than scolding. When my driving partners or I made mistakes, he remained calm and gently corrected us. His easy-going and humorous demeanor made driving with him smooth and anxiety-free. I will recommend this driving school to my friends and younger relatives in the Richmond area!
My son struggled passing the drivers written exam but after a tutoring session 1:1 he passed. It was exactly what he needed! I highly recommend Genesis!
I took the adult driving class and it was the most well spent money. The online modules are well paced and easy to understand and Todd is an excellent teacher.

Love Karen driving school. It does not feel like you are even in class. Karen incorporates every day life into her lessons. This is my second time coming. I highly recommend her if you ever need the class. Karen is a down to earth person, funny easy to relate too.
Be Safe Driving School was great to work with! Both of our kids opted for the online classroom work and behind-the-wheel driver training with Be Safe (rather than do these through school). The driving instructor was generally on time. Since they are training other teens at the same time, the arrival of the instructor can be slightly delayed because of very cautious teen drivers. But overall, timing was never a problem. It was very helpful to receive a text reminder the night before each driving session. Both of our kids took their final exam (for the class portion) in the Be Safe Driving School office. The computer setup for the test was good - and mission accomplished! When I texted questions, Barbara from Be Safe Driving School answered either immediately or within an acceptable period. Our experience was great! I don't know why Yelp lists me as being from San Francisco - I'm in Chesterfield County Virginia.
A bit long, but to be frank, a life changing experience in terms of general driving instruction and respect for VA rules. A must have course to genuinely improve your drive both from a mindful perspective and general attitude improvement
16 years without a drivers license due to a judgement and in as little as a month and a half they had me driving again. very reasonable price, very nice attitude friendly people who show they actually care. if your having any issues with driving i highly recommend drive-to-work hands down. thank you guys so much for everything. sincerely Saamel Smith
This class was so informative ! Paul is an excellent teacher and communicates driving concepts in an understandable manner. Everyone should take this class. I am so glad I chose Swift Creek Driving Improvement and so happy Paul was our instructor.
I just passed my CDL test today and couldn’t have ever done it without them. The instructors were very understanding and great. I highly would recommend coming to this school to get your CDL.
This was the best driver improvement class I have ever experienced. The instructor was very patient and fun. 10/10 for me. Their prices are very reasonable as well. God bless them
