I have been very pleased with the care I receive from Dr. Guthrie and her staff at James River Family Dentistry. It is a friendly but professional office where I always feel welcome. And my dental work has been exceptionally good.

I’ve always been someone who gets pretty anxious about going to the dentist, so a good hygienist makes a HUGE difference for me. Today was my first time seeing Arati and she was fantastic. She was so gentle & calm which immediately put me at ease :) She’s very knowledgeable and explains what she is doing and the why. She was so thorough with my cleaning too!! The interaction between hygienist and doctor is so important too, and I could tell Dr. Guthrie & Arati make a great team!
If you’re someone who gets nervous about dental appointments like I do, Arati is the one you want. Thank you Arati & Dr. Guthrie look forward to seeing you soon!
